Anyone got a clue what else can i do to make it proceed ? I think i tried everything. Repair, Reset, Roll out of beta, Roll back to beta, sign out Xbox app and sign back in. Other than uninstalling it, i think i tried it all. Any ideas ? MSFS2024 works fine btw

Hey, it's the first time I experience this problem - I can listen to my own messages or those of my AI Co-Pilot, but when ATSUs communicate, I can read their messages on the ATC GUI but I can't listen to them, and yes my ACP is correctly set, and this happens with all aircraft.

The Carenado C182RG is now fully functional in 2024, with some minor cosmetic issues, like the needles on the fuel gauges disappearing if you are not zoomed in on the gauge... but still very enjoyable to fly. Unfortunately, it does not have the latest version of the WT GNS530 in the panel, so you cannot load complex flight plans. Im not one to vent within the flight sim community and Ive been around since those FS4 days in the mid 90s. MSFS2020 runs great on my machine and there are a just a very few moments FS24 runs "good" for its state. Why has this issue with what seems to be server latency or whatever it is making my flying and i know many others complete useless in FS24. There is a topic already posted on this and has many many votes and I know its being "investigated". I have attached a video of my flight over Los Angeles area. I kind of got used to having frequent small intermittent stutters when flying over central Europe. One could even hear them in the audio of BeyondATC's voices. Apart from that AutoFPS is keeping my sim relatively fluid. I recently read somewhere that some of the VFR Obstacle Sceneries from the FS2020 days might cause performance issues. Since I use Puffinflight's 3 VFR Packages and I didn't see stutters in the rest of the world I ruled these out. But there is Mamudesign and their Electrical Pylons and their Solarfarms Add On. Officially 1 month of using MSFS with SU2, and it has become the Flight Simulator I've waited my whole life for. It has surpassed MSFS 2020 on every level in terms of performance and scenery (now - it was horrible prior) but I've learned a few lessons along the way that I'll share - and remember YMMV. 1) AMD 9900X3D CPU / MOBO setting. If you have poor performance in MSFS 2024, go into your BIOS and clear out all of your overclocks and tweaks and do a "Load Optimized Defaults. I'm running the GigaByte Aorus (870E chipset). Hi all, I am using Addon's linker to start all my 3rd party apps together with MSFS2020. All working well, except it does not load the Simsounds app. I have tried different options, like waiting for Simconnect and adding extra wait time of 20-30 seconds. The Simsounds icon appears on my task bar and immediatly vanishes again. Thanks for your help! Michael

Hey all, I have never been able to get the Fenix discord to hook up with my account. (Raised a ticket and even then we couldn’t get it to work!) This means than, other than Dave’s updates and the official announcements channel, I cannot access the lounge to see what the chat is! I was wondering if anyone had heard anything on there regarding their BFU? The last I can see is Dave saying they’ve run into a few hurdles with it. But that was a few months back now. This has begun to pop up in the upper left of my screen and wait for a response each time I start MSFS 2024. I have not at any time joined any betas. I am not using Developer mode. Any ideas how to get this to stop?

I just bought a new computer and I am slowly but surely reinstalling the various addons I had on the previous machine. I used Addon linker and noticed today that some of the third party airports get overridden. Basically I chose a location, for example Flagstaff (I have used Addon liner to place UK2000 scenery KFLG in the community folder). I choose a parking sport, and as the scenery is loading, if I zoom in, I can see the third party buildings, but fairly quickly the generic buildings seen load on top as does the generic taxiway and runways . Just today, I got a slight 5 second or so freeze upon landing in the fenix. Anyone else experience this? If so fixes? Using 2020. I have over 900 hours in 2020 and this is the first in about 3 years this has ever happened

Every time I fly over a certain part of Washington DC, my sim freezes up (graphics and sound are frozen, and the program will no longer respond, but no CTD). The location in question is just north of the Chain Bridge and Sibley Memorial Hospital, near the GTN NDB. The River Visual RWY 19 at DCA requires flying over this area at 1800', so this is very frustrating! I have never had this problem anywhere else in the world so far. When the sim freezes like this, the only way I can exit the program is to end the process in Task Manager. Task Manager shows the application as "Not Responding", with CPU usage around 9% overall (although two of the cores are fluctuating b…

I get this message along with the option to start in safe or normal mode every time I start up even though the sim appears to shut down fine with no indication of any errors. Known bug? Im not running a Beta.

I just saw a thread in Reddit where MSFS 2024 is being used as a tool to teach private pilot students: Is this becoming more common, that MSFS is being used in flight school as a tool to teach students? I read that people were using MSFS 2020 for seaplane training from the geographical visuals that matched real life, but it's interesting to see MSFS 2024 being used as a tool at some flight schools now.

Since I first updated MS2024 to SU2, the 3 History airfields on the Map page haven't changed. I would like to change these to the airfields I use most, but they never seem to change. Is there a file within MSFS 2024 where I can edit the airfields to the one's I use most ?
