Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello. I have been haunted by CTDs in MSFS 2024 (DXGI Error Device Hung and others) for days. To make things worse, it also occurred in MSFS 2020. Normally, this possible solution used to work but not this time. I decided to uninstall my driver using DDU and installed the 12th November's 566.14. Surprisingly, not only does it remove CTDS in both sims but also does it eliminate stutters in MSFS 2020 (I have always had occasional stutters in 2020, not in MSFS 2024). I noticed it has been three years since the last thread on this topic was archived, so here is your friendly reminder that the xbox platform exists and has potential new users for you :) As many other do I sit my whole workday at a desk in front of a screen, so xbox is the only way I can flight sim. My main interests with simming is exploration and maximum immersion. I want my experience to be as close as it can be to the real thing and this includes using the radio. So thats it! The old DXGI_ERROR_HUNG message presented itself today for the first time in a long time. I only see this very occasionally and only with MSFS when running DX12. This is the first time I've seen it since the SU15 update which is the reason I bring it up now. Has anyone else seen this since SU15 and was this something SU15 was supposed to fix?

Hi all, This week my new rig finally arrived and I have spent the last few nights doing the nightmare move over to it. Ive run into a few issues and was wondering if anyone has experienced them. The new rig is a 9800x3d, 96GB RAM, 5090 GPU all in the most ridiculously large case (Phantecs NV9) I really should have read the size of it before I got it, it’s big enough to swallow my old pc which was also a full tower! Also weighs in at about the same as a medium sized elephant. I have also now moved over to windows 11 from windows 10 so that’s also a new adventure for me. I am trying to uninstall the a350in both 2020 and 2024. Does anyone know why it leaves a ton of folder and files behind? Then I have to manual uninstall.

Is it possible to disable the stock tow truck in FS2024? I only want to use Fenix' tow truck through their EFB and the stock tow truck seems to disrupt Fenix' tow truck behavior. Thanks, Hans

First one might be a feature: I dont see any other players on the world map, a regression from 2020?, or a bug? Second one definately a bug, whenever I start in any plane and regardless of aircraft state the parking brake wont disengage untill I hit esc twice its surprisingly annoying does anyone else get that? How in the world do i get/buy/download this product??? Everytime i try to register its just (a box that pops up) keeps telling me "invalid email! Beta I load the mkstudios KSEA airport (with zzz Static KSEA FSLTL) and the Flysimware C414 with DLSS at High, FG on, TLOD 305 OLOD 200 and all other settings on High except Buildings and Clouds which are Ultra. I have Max Frame Rate set at 30 in the sim. I have FSLTL running along with GAIST V7 and GAIST Trees and Scenery. OR - just a whole bunch of stuff. I start Free Flight with the Project Kart off road vehicle. I can drive all over the airport, into the Cargo bays, around the Passenger terminals with a jet at almost every gate and the sim stays at a steady, rock solid 60fps. PSXT message in 2024: The weather radar has stopped with error (MSFS 2024) Then just crashes

Hi, I have done what I think is almost eveything trying to get rolling cache back with 2024. I have created numrious new locations and pointed the sim to that folder, but no matter what I do it tells me I most put a numneric number, but it always reverts back to "0". I checked to make sure any rolling cache files have been removed and none could be found. Any thoughts?

Hello, Im using or try to use the MSFS2024 Flight-planning for PMDG 777-200ER. The planning seems fine but when I try to load it, it says invalid wind data uplink. I'm mostly flying GA. On long flights in MSFS 2024 (say over 30 minutes) using autopilot the aircraft can suddenly roll violently to the left. If I don't immediately correct it the wings end up vertical and the aircraft goes out of control. This happens with both the default Cessna 172 and the Carenado 182RG, the two aircraft I use for these trips. It is way more frequent in NAV mode but also occurs in Heading mode. I am putting this here so that it doesn't get swamped in the other posts... Lots of mis-info. So first off, you do not need to download any DLL's or swap any DLL's. 1.) Download new NVidia drivers. Install them 2.) Download new NVidia app. Install it. 3.) Restart PC. 4.) go in new Nvidia app, select MSFS2024, and make sure that in DLSS override - Model presets is set to 'frame generation - Latest'. 5.) Download NVidia inspector. For the last few weeks I've had a problem getting FS2020 to shut down completely. As a result when I try to start it up again the next time I get the Sim is Already Running message that won't go away. If I shut the sim down using the Quit to Desktop option, I get the Are you sure you want to exit Flight Simulator screen. I click on Yes and the window appears to close, but it has just "retreated" to the task bar. At that point there is noting I have found that works expect to force the sim to close using the Task Manager. Appreciate any thoughts on what might be causing this, or possible fixes. Thanks, Al

Have had 3 flights today in MFS2024, into different airports, where the AP disconnects unaided whilst coming in on approach. Occurred between 1500' & 1700'. Nothing touched on the controls. Just turns off all of a sudden. Any one else experiencing this? T45

Hi, I've been using SimBrief for a long time without any issues until today when I've found that my two PMDG aircraft - Boeing 737 and 777-F are unable to download the SimBrief flight plans. I use MSFS2020. I've tried with other aircraft and there's no problem there. I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. Best regards, Peter

I am trying to configure interior lighting for the default C172 G1000. There are four rheostats in the cockpit of the plane for controlling lighting. In my MSFS2024: The "Pedestal Lighting" and "Radio Lighting Brightness" knobs seem to work properly to control those lights. I can adjust those from 0 to 100 and it stays where I set it. However, the knobs for "Panel Lighting Brightness" and "Glareshield Lighting" do not work properly. When I use my mouse to attempt to adjust the setting of those knobs, I see number values jumping around but something is keeping those two knobs from adjusting.
