I noticed that 2024 runway lights are blurrier than those of 2020, which are way more sharper. I didnt find a setting at 2024 which can fix the issue

Nighttime in 2024 is pretty messed up.

Hopefully they will fix it someday. 

Doubtful you will find a setting that will help.

They have a night lighting upgrade planned for Su4 let’s hope it includes everything

I wonder what I'm doing right, my night lighting is awesome. From flying over cities to final approach to landing. Yesterday I flex a Fenix flight from MMMX to KLAX which I arrive in California around 9pm. Crossing over San Diego, flying up the coast, night lights showed all cities in-between to approach into LAX. I did not see any blurry lights or textures. If you ask me 2024-night lights are 100% better than 2020. I never got nighttime great looking night textures in 2020 that I see in 2024.

Yeah it really seems to vary by user.  Some hate some love it both with real world flying experience (like myself).  The only thing I currently don't like is that the runway edge lights and PAPIs are way too visible (and the PAPIs are massive lol) from even 10 miles out.  IRL even when lined up on final it can be tough to spot the runway especially if you're landing in an urban area.  But sometimes I think Asobo designed the lighting to be more visible to all users and not necessarily what is realistic.

The fact that some people like it and some don't? How should they have addressed that exactly? 

I have read enough comments (and seen enough screenshots) to know that I would certainly not be happy with those lights.

Methinks perhaps you look too hard for negatives you can agree with. 

Nonsense. I want MSFS 2024 to be perfect. I do not want to see regressions in areas that are perfectly acceptable in MSFS 2020.

But some people are saying they like the night lighting in 2024, that it is better than 2020.

If using DLSS, this will cause it. Try TAA.

I use TAA in both sims, and my runway/taxi/papi lights in 2024 are much brighter and larger than 2020. I much prefer 2020. These screenshots are from iniBuilds KJFK, RW31L.
