Dear All, I want to love the Asobo ATR42/72 as it is a different aircraft to fly for virtual airlines. However, the aircraft doesn't love me as I've not succeeded in completing a flight! I spent the weekend watching YouTube videos about setting up and flying the aircraft. When I tried to fly it, I had many issues including the inability to start one of the engines, getting the number 2 engine into the Hotel mode and then getting the brake to release. My last flight was terminated due to a WASM crash. On the brighter side, I've managed to get the autopilot operating, which it didn't do previously. I was keen on BATC but it doesn’t support the new flight planner in 2024 which is apparently top tier. Are there any ATC add-ons out there that integrate with the 2024 flights plans or am I stuck with default ATC?

I was very pleased this weekend and towards the end of last week as Ive been doing a number of long flights in the Fenix A320 as well as some GA flights. Many of the flights were 3 plus hours long yet despite perhaps some initially appearing in the Log Book they no longer do, even if date order is correct. Its like they never happened. I am unsure if they have even gone amiss on my total flight hours which I am trying to build. I was recently in the SU3 beta then reverted to SU2 recently but have certainly carried out a couple of long flights in SU2. I am NOT using Developer Mode as I know that stops hours being logged. I’m getting back into the sim (MSFS 2024), bought the ifly 737, a couple of WinWing devices, and now I’m thinking I need a decent ATC add-on. If I’m not mistaken, BATC is the current best option?… reasonably cost with no subscription, good voices, traffic injection and control, and copilot automation options. Questions I’m hoping someone can answer… 1. It sounds Iike it can assign a runway and approach on arrival… is that right? That’s important to me. 2. I saw Sim Brief integration, but I actually want to try and use the flight planner built into MSFS 2024… will it work with the built-in planner? 3. How is the traffic injection? What models and…

I have seen lots of videos of people flying VR around New York and the videos look amazing. But when I fly around New York, it looks OK but not that great. Is there a New York addon that some of you are using that makes New York look considerably better?

I just saw this at the PMDG forum by Randazzo: “- When will PMDG do a 787? (answer: another silent nod and a smile)” Make of it what you will. But this is the biggest hint I have seen so far that PMDG will do the 787. Logically, it makes sense, as it’s one of the remaining modern Boeing airliners that PMDG hasn’t done yet for MSFS. And if they do this, we don’t have to wait forever for BlueBird Simulations for their 787.

I jumped back into 2024 today after flying in 2020 for a while and i've noticed that the ground textures are blurry and way less crisp than 2020. Is there a fix for this or is it a streaming thing that could change day by day for better or worse? This is flying Fenix at altitudes, not low and slow. I know settings might be a thing to change as well, but just feel like 2020 was a lot more realistic looking to me for some reason. I like 2024, but jst wanted to see what people thought. Thanks

I would like to enable MSFS 2024 native AI aircraft but I want the native ATC to be silent (SU2). I enabled GENERAL | ONLINE | AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC TYPE but I don't see any AI aircraft at airports, so: Is this possible or are AI & ATC joined at the hip ? Both or no AI ? What other setting(s) control the presence of native AI traffic ? Thanks.

Hi Guys, None of my settings save, I have to set them each and every session. I deleted and reset my camera views the other day as well, took a while...saved in game, restarted today, all back to default. I have a default sim each start up...

I reinstalled FS2024 fresh after having experienced again that "97% Loading" that never ends quirk... I was already using mostly default FS 2024. Default ATC, default AI Traffic, default weather, and just a few addon airliners. This turn around I decided (again...) to stay with pure default install until it goes SU3 final and then the addon makers have to support it and release the necessary updates for their products. When I turn off the IRS selectors in my PMDG 737-600 during shutdown after a flight, they both make a clicking sound (which is perfectly fine). However, about two seconds after I switch off the second IRS selector, I hear another click (which sounds like one of the lights being switched off). Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug? If it is supposed to happen, what is making that sound?

Beta 1.5.18.0 and 1.5.17.0 My Windows 11 account has administrator privileges but I do not start FS 2024 with Admin privileges. I am running Steam with Steam Overlay enabled. I have made six-MarketPlace purchases in FS 2024 and many dozen in 2020. When I try to purchase an item I get the "spinning circle" and a locked/frozen FS2024 session that must be terminated with Alt+F4 or task manager. If I put multiple items in my "Wish List" I then can purchase (click on Buy) and then see the message that I have no coins in my wallet. Hi, I’ve picked the max back up again after not using it much. The ND seems to stutter during turns etc, an and isn’t as smooth as other addons. I’ve got the glass cockpit refresh set to high but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. Am I missing a setting in the efb? Also posted on the official discord but in the past replies are often not quick in coming so thought I’d also try here. Thanks

Hello, As a beginner on the 777-200ER, I followed A330 Driver's tutorials. In his video at 21:14 The METAR is displayed on the Engine and Crew Alert Display, I'm following exactly the same procedure as the A330 Driver, except the METAR is only displayed on the multifunction display. Could someone please tell me how to do this?

I Due to a McAffe originated malware which could not be eliminated, I restored my system and since then, I cannot open MS 2020 or 2024.- When trying, a banner appears informing something like: no licenses app applicable found.- I rolled back to the original restore point, and have the same problem.- Perhaps there is a solution that avoids reinstallation.Thanks

how is traffic (beta) in sayintentions.ai performing? Is at better than other traffic injectors? Opinions please as I dont care to fork out money to test a beta

Hi all, Fs24 is looking great as I want it. I use AutoFPS which helps a lot with getting the best performance. But yesterday when taxiing at FT Amsterdam Schiphol and I passed the D terminal with at least 10 planes parked and moving ( RealTraffic + PSXT ) I saw a few stutters. Total planes 34. So I checked abd the Renderthread and it showed 33-42 ! More than enough VRAM but the GPU load of the 4090 was 96%. Afer take off I flew over Amsterdam and the Renderthread dropped to 15 but the GPU load was still high with 93%. Keep in mind that my server drives 2 4K views at 60 hertz ( Sony Bravia 4K tv’s ) I have set a fixed framerate of 30 ins…

I used the Community import function to get Cinematic views added to my External view column for my Fenix A320, I'd like to add cinematic views for other aircraft, but can't work out how to do it? I expect it easy, once you know how, any help would be appreciated!

Hi there, I’ve never had this problem in FSX/P3D before, but I’m having a hard time following the T7 flight director (all 777 models). I find myself chasing it but it feels rather jumpy/abrupt, and once I finally captured it to my satisfaction, I’m of course chasing the next waypoint and/or altitude. I’m not sure if trimming is an issue, or maybe it’s the sensitivity settings of my TCA Boeing yoke. I tried several different settings but with the same unsatisfactory results. flying Msfs2020 the other day and have a small issue. My mouse icon when hovered over the cockpit switch is not moving the switch or other controls When I hover over a switch I can't click on it. For some reason the mouse has to be moved over to the left of the cockpit to get a switch to operate Cheers Rhys

So, almost every airport in FS 2024 had vanished. They do not show on the world map and if I type in a departure airport it can not find it. Linker has everything active... Do I need to wipe everything and reinstall, or is there any thing else that I can try?
