Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

So I've been flying the Fenix A320 the last few days, and when I switch off the APU at cruise, the plane shudders momentarily and slows down a few knots. Surely this isn't true to life. Is anyone else experiencing this? It's a minor issue, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

It appears that the previous Fenix B2 3rd party liveries don't work in the BFU update. I downloaded the new ones for A319/320/321 via the new BFU installer but they aren't showing either. Is anyone else having these problems.

This utility offers a workaround to the MSFS 2024 bug / behavior where the in-sim clock stays locked to real-time / system time or a fixed offset, even if you pause or use sim rate acceleration. This is unlike MSFS 2020, where pausing would pause the in-sim time, and using sim rate would accelerate / decelerate the progression of in-sim time accordingly. As the title, is there a Boeing Business Jet config anywhere for the iFly? Ideally an interior, livery, and sim brief profile. I would love to role play piloting a private business jet with the iFly. It would make more sense with where I’m going to fly it than a regular airliner.

Cessna CitationX and SimBrief’s MSFS2020 saved route Hand keying the Cessna CitationX Tutor (video) route (waypoints) into the MCDU worked OK. EDIT: From MSFS2020 startup screen load the Simbrief saved .pln. Then starting the flight as normal from Cold and Dark / preflight / APU power up. I waned to see if a Simbrief MSFS2020 saved route (.pln) would load all the route waypoints into the MCDU. It worked.

Hi folks, I have been trying downloading wing views for the Fenix via flightsim.to and I'm following the download and directory instructions but none of them seem to work...they often also don't have much by way of instructions. Any help you can offer or point me in the right direction. I just want something easy that gives me cool wing and engine views : ) I'm not sure why it has been so confusing for me but it is what it is... Thanks for any help you have...

The last 3 betas give a turbulence above FL 330 and the higher I fly the severe the turbulence gets. I fly in Europe and it does not matter of there are mountains or not. Using the default Live Weather. Going to a preset does not solve it. Anyone experiencing this ?

Hello ALL, Recently I've returned to FS2020 and I've started to set things up for TFDi MD-11 and I noticed that the behaviour seen on PMDG B-737NG is still there, which is a really bad steering on the ground. Last plane I used to fly on P3D (v4 yet) was the FSLabs A320 and it used to work really well. I use a X52 controller and have assigned the "steering tiller" axis to the rotary head in the throttle part of the controller, just like I used to do on FSX, P3D, etc but it really seems to be of little help. Any higher speed than REALLY slow makes the steering to lose effectiveness and even at such slow speeds the higher turning angles seem to "slip" a lot! Is the…

I returned to FS 2020 this morning after spending the last 5 weeks in FS 2024, only to find that the runways (in Europe at least) are infested with grass!!!! (and I don't have a lawnmower in the cockpit). What has happened in fs 2020 these past few weeks? Is there a solution? (besides going back to fs2024)

I just purchased the new version of Adelaide by MK studios. I had the older version by auscene ? but this version has blown me away. The detail of textures and updated airport buildings are superb, some, it not, the best I have ever seen in a flightsim. Magnificent job MK studios !

Filou convinced me to give this a whirl and went first to Flightsim.to and downloaded their copy. I installed it, and it tells me the version is expired and directs me to Github. I download its latest version and it's asking for payment and this is the first I've heard you have to pay monthly or yearly to use it, whereas I'm sure I read it is/was free. Also, apparently there is a watermark w/ Google on it and there is a 'Bing' version that doesn't have the watermark: 1. Where to get the Bing version? 2. Is it still possible to try it for free? With the Fenix BFU, RNAV approaches are drastically different. In the past, with APR armed, once you hit the IAF, it would change to FINAL APP mode on the nav display. Now, the LS prompt flashes like it does for ILS approaches and managed mode goes into selected vs. I’m sure this is closer to real life ops, but curious what the correct procedure is now. I tried twice last night but couldn’t get the FINAL APP like I used to.

Got a really weird problem with MSFS 2020. If I change the cloud formations manually, or if active sky changes the clouds in the sim, I get this really heavy stuttering. Almost impossible to use the sim. Alt+enter twice fixes the problem. But I don’t really want to do that as it’s immersion breaking. Im running frame gen x2 with lossless. Native 30FPS. Any idea what is happening?

Anybody know know of any sites that offer free charts and approach plate for Europe. I know if you get Navagrah they have and if you use MSFS2024 its included but I'm still using MSFS2020. Like to try some flights in Italy
