I am having no luck with logins on the A2A forum. Registration again, login not recognized etc. I finally reregistered after trying and trying, and got an email to send in a parental permission slip. I am 81 years old and very frustrated by their process. I get into the store fine but the forums seem to be read only for me. Can anyone help? My root issue is the Aerostar has disappeared after an uninstall/reinstall of MSFS 2024 Beta. When I try to reinstall, the Aerostar installer fails telling me that 9.8 is already installed although it is not. Any attempt to uninstall the Aerostar fails also. Just released from Just Flight is "Fly The Line -Short Haul". Caters for flights that don't exceed 6 hours. Looks a good replacement for "A Pilots Life " since development has more or less come to a halt. Other New release news: MK Studios have just released YPAD Adelaid International Pyreegue releasing EGBB Birmingham on 1st August. Another gem from this developer.

Runway selection with MSFS2020 v1.39.9 Cannot pick a different departure runway from the World Map and have the sim load at that runway. MSFS2020 instead always loads the runway it initially defaulted to. Are other pilots seeing this? Note: I just started checking this new version.

I’ve got copilots appearing in every other plane and helicopter I use except the one where it’s actually essential. ☹️ Is there any add-on that can add a copilot avatar so the seat is not empty? Even the videos I’ve seen for the copilot automation add-ons don’t seem to add an actual avatar.

Hey all Is there any way at all to get historical weather in MSFS 2020 without using Active Sky? Unfortunately it doesn't like my set up. Every time there is a cloud transition I get this very strange juddering of frames, I think something to do with all the frame gen I use. I don't fly using real time, so it'd be nice if I could have weather that was at least accurate to time in the last 24 hours.

Question for all Boeing pilots… when I disconnect the auto throttles on final approach, my physical thrust levers on my Bravo are not synced with where the plane’s thrust levers are. So I try to eye-ball it but it invariably creates some instability that I really could do without. Is there any trick to getting them synced before disengaging AT? Maybe the trick is to note what N1 % is being used on final and mark that on my physical throttle quadrant so I can use that to line up the levers? But that would require that the thrust value on final is pretty consistent from one flight to the next.

After the small nav update today, the game will not load to the start screen for me. Blue bar goes all the way to the right at New Activities and that's about it. Anyone else? Any suggestions to fix? Thanks! Ilya

I think I've been stuck in a loop since the SU16 update. Every time I start MSFS2020, I receive updates for all WorldUpdate packages. I let the simulator download and install the updates in Content Manager, but after restarting the simulator, they reappear again and again. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

When landing, I disengage the AP at about 1000 feet, and hit the button again because there's an annoying alarm that sounds... is that normal? Why is that? 2. After disengaging the AP at 1000 feet, it seems the Auto Throttles are still engaged, do I just leave the throttles alone and take care of pitch, etc, with the yoke? I've been learning the iFly 737 in MSFS 2024 the last two weeks... thanks to all that have helped me with various aspects over this period. It's been a lot of studying YouTube tutorials, and reading forums, and documentation. Insane! But it all came together this evening. I planned a flight from Honolulu to Cassidy International on Kiribati - about a 3 hour flight south of Hawaii. Hi, first time user of this mod. I have created a folder called Airports and begun moving airports from community to this folder and creating links for them. It is becoming apparent that i should also have folders to associate the airports by country or region etc. My question can i create those folders now and move the airports to those new folders and still have the links work. Hope i've explained clearly.

My fps is in the range of 20 (sometimes above, but only external view), which can be frustrating as my hardware is capable of running MSFS 2020, whilst other people have lower hardware (CPU & GPU) range for example (3060, AMD Ryzen 5700 X3D). I use a keyboard and touch pad - instead of a mouse. The touchpad allows scrolling with two fingers. I've set windows up so that pulling down on the pad pulls the scroll bars down (I'm old). But in the simulator, this is reversed, and it's not using the Windows setting. I can't find anyway to change this behavior and it's driving me nuts. Is there any way to change the scrolling direction?

Hopefully someone can help me out. I can no longer launch MSFS2020. I get the "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." I have the MS Store version. I have rebooted, reinstalled twice to two different drives, ran from Addon Linker (it doesn't do anything), MS Store, and XBox App, all to no avail. Before someone says "Change your permissions" or "run as administrator", the executable is located in the WindowsApps folder which I can't access. BTW, my Steam version of MSFS2024 works fine. I have a couple of questions… For the most realistic experience, I want to use ATC assigned runways and departures/approaches. - I believe ATC will say “Expect Runway X via XYZ” at clearance for my departure and again at or near T/D for arrival… is that right?
