Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hello all, Really pleased with the update everything was going swimmingly until I plugged in a flight originating at the default EHAM. All the dammed buildings were pink with the chequerboard pattern. Removed the airport from the Steam library and let the sim rebuild the airport...No Joy. Rebuilt the fs-base file... No Joy. Checked Console in Developer Mode and it shows error messages in relation to missing textures for this particular airport, too many to count. I cannot understand why if I delete and then rebuild the file all the missing textures are not added!!! Is there anything else I can try in order to solve this issue. Reall…

Last two days I’ve been getting random audio stutters where the sound cuts out here and there in 2020. What causes this? Haven’t really seen this since the recent su16 update. i have a good pc, i9-10850k, 4070ti super, 32GB ram. Graphics settings are not extreme and are reasonable. Using windows 10.

What should my Thrustmaster AP disconnect button be assigned to in 2024, to get the correct AP disengage on approach? At the moment I just get a warning alarm when I press it, but after two clicks it should be fine.

This summer I can't go hiking in the mountains for real, and will only be able to make some local trips. To scratch the itch to see real mountains I tried something. I picked up a tour guide which I had in my library from an area I have not yet been in real life and randomly chose a tour. Then I downloaded the gpx data for and imported it into LittleNavmap. I am wondering if someone would know how to turn on Chase Plane or FlowPro Control Panel. I installed and made set up and obviously need to make more adjustments but there is absolutely no way I can get this going. What's even worse my top tool bar is disabled as well due to Flow installation and now I am stuck. Anyway if someone has an idea I would appreciate help....Thanks

Is there any way to get rid of the T/O alert after: 1. rudders, flaps, elevators set to T/O settings 2. parking brakes are off 3. doors closed 4. throttle above idle speed? It seems that it only goes away after take-off. What am I missing?

When I press the start button in Addons Linker, I get a popup window telling me "Windows cannot find 'shell: AppsFolder\Microsoft.Limitless_8...bwe!App' Make sure you typed the name correctly..." Earlier today it worked, suddenly I get this error. When I start the sim myself, it works. FS2020, store version.

Greetings! I have made numerous flights in the A350 and once the sun sets, the cockpit is quite dark. I can adjust the individual panel lights, but when I turn the overhead/flood light knobs, nothing happens. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? Up until now I have used a sidestick controller. Just bought a yoke (Honeycomb alpha) and finding it difficult to maintain heading on an ILS approach once heads up. Always over-correcting. Any tips from the pros?

I have both the FMS and AP unit but I cannot get the FMS to light up the display. The buttons work fine when pressed and the FMS in sim updates. I have entered the lines in the Packages\pmdg-aircraft-738\work 737_options.ini [SDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1 EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1 EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1 I have entered the paths in the Simapp pro client for steam. The AP comes up just fine no issue. I have followed other post but most just did not have the SDK lines entered. Anyone have any tips? Also the AP works on the iFly but not the FMS as well.

I am on MSFS2024 SU2. All was working real fine till now, when at start-up I was shown a message saying, that the data in the cloud were newer than the data on my PC. I selected the newer data in the cloud. Since then my Community folder content is not loaded anymore. How can I change back MSFS2024 to load my Community content? Thanks for any helpful instructions.

I thought I had previously successfully gotten the Black Square King Air to load into MSFS2024. I'm trying now with a newly downloaded copy of the aircraft, and MSFS2024 hangs at 97% on the loading screen. I know this aircraft isn't officially compatible, but as stated prior, I thought I had gotten it to work a while ago. Anyone have any success getting the BS King Air to load in MSFS2024?

I have my simple joystick slider control my throttle. This is the default. But, with Button1 PLUS the joystick slider, I have both control the trim. The problem: Trimming works, but there is a problem. When I use the joystick slider with Button1 to control the trim, the joystick slider ALSO affects the throttle. So, the question is: How can I use the slider with Button1 for controlling the trim without it affecting the throttle also? In other words, how do I isolate the action of the slider when it is used with Button1?

Hello, Have couple question regarding FlightSim Studios B727-200 passsenger and Fenix Airbuses. First Question - The FSS 727 passenger version the visual model only comes with what appears to be with the Hush-kits?? or is there the standard model?? Also, is it MSFS 2024 compatible?? Second question - For the Fenix, could I purchase the bundle package or do I have to also purchase a base model?? And the only place to purchase it, its thru their website, correct?? I just want to know because I'm considering to purchase them. Thanks for any info and suggestions.

I've been wondering for a long time why all the add-ons we use can't be synchronized with a single and unique AIRAC database. With FS2024 and its excellent flight planner, I think the time has come to have a single, monthly-updated database that all the payware add-ons we regularly use could rely on. When starting MSFS, the flight deck is dark and I can’t log in through the Fenix window. Anyone else had this issue?

I'm a big Fenix user and just took the FSL A321Neo for my first European round trip. It's really not great and I wish I'd just used the Fenix. Some issues I found: - FO side PFD and ND froze just before arrival. I ended up getting loads of discrepancy warning messages. Even changing the brightness didn't do anything (it was completely frozen). - Pressing the 'PEDAL DISC' to allow pedals to steer is just clumsy. It seems to give me all sorts of problems keeping the aircraft straight on the runway during take off. Should I have disconnected it before starting the TO roll? Fenix and PMDG combine rudder and NWS flawlessly...why does this have to be so different? Also, …

hey guys, my msfs doesnt work like it should be, when i load into the game it takes ages and a few tricks to get in, and when im in the game i cant acces the marketplace and my bought planes because i dont have the open world update installed. most of the times, it doesnt even show me the option to install it, when it does it just restarts the game and gives me an error. ive tried restarting everything and even deleted and re downloaded the game. but still nothing does anybody know how to fix this or if its just a server issue. i am playing on xbox btw and i use msfs 2020 -Levi
