Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I want to make a livery for a Headwind A330-900neo. But the airline I want to make a livery for has an Airbus A330-300, i.e. CEO. I saw that on some planes, along with the liveries, the models were changed. Does anyone know how to do this? I would probably figure it out myself, but the model of this plane for Blender is broken, so I don't know what to do. I would be very grateful.

I thought I'd sorted the sound stutter problem...uninstalled everything except my actual speakers for sound. SU3 comes around and sound stutters are back! I thought MS / Asobo were aware of this and sorting?

I’ve just started touring the Pacific and flew from Honolulu to Kiritimati island in the iFly 737… to PLCH… Cassidy International Airport. I highly recommend Kiritimati island - it’s worth a visit. It has some very unique geography that’s beautiful from the air. Once I arrived, I explored it using the H145. There’s a freeware PLCH on flightsim.to to enhance the visit. I had never heard of this island before, and just stumbled across it searching to break up a flight from Hawaii to Tahiti. Anyway, it makes me wonder what other relatively unknown islands might be out there that are worthy of a visit? Any recommendations?

Hi, Since I got SU3 It's impossible for me to set parking brake in the cockpit, on the keyboard or with my Honeyxomb alpha. Any solution? Thank's Yves from ELLX

I have tried to figure this out for a few hours no with no luck. Obviously I can drag the pmdg 737 folders over to the MSFS2024 Community folder but this only gets me 1 livery for each type of airplane. I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zx7GJA9UUQQ&t=31s At 2:34 it tells me to take the UserCfg from FS2024 and place it into the AppData/roaming/Microsoft Flight Simulator folder. I assume this UserCfg file is the UserCfg.opt file found in C:\Users\aniir\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache After pasting that file. I'm wondering if this is just me. I have an alert about two upgrades. But when I check, the two items say I've already upgraded. Does anyone else have this issue? Any idea why it's happening? These pop-ups are annoying. Any tips on how to get rid of them?

I go to MyLibrary and select STREAMED then check SCENERY. An example of the packages I see is: CITY UPDATE VI: SOUTHWEST GERMANY 1/2 Items What does the 1/2 mean ? This comes in two parts and I have only activated one but then I don't see one that is not activated ? It comes in two parts and the 2nd is not available yet ? Thanks

I've resurrected my HPG H145 to fly in MSFS 2024 and it seems to work well but it has a couple of issues and from what I gather Hype Performance Group was contracted by Asobo to provide the H225 for the deluxe edition so they've been neglecting their payware products to finish work on the H225 for SU3. Not exactly nice treatment of your paying customers, but I guess if MS comes knocking, you back up your Brinks truck for a trip to the bank. 🙂 What's a good helicopter in 2024? BTW, I got a couple of new controls... a VKB joystick that you can take out the centering springs and it stays where you put it which makes for a nicer cyclic. And I've also just purchased …

I read in the release notes of the recent update that there are two (2) new FREE airplanes in the Marketplace, but I can not find them. Anyone know where they are? Thanks

I've heard multiple things about the Rolling Cache setting in 2024. Read that setting it higher (100gig for example) was actually detrimental to performance. I've got 32 gig of RAM, 4070Ti Super, fast CPU. Any thoughts on what my optimum rolling cache setting should be? TIA

SU3 seems to have changed the view from the cockpit in the C172 and I dare say also in other aircraft. Whilst I have messed around with the camera settings, I can't seem to get it back to the way it was before the update. Any thoughts or comments?

Where is the option to download all to my computer if I want ? How does this work ?

After reinstalling, the could has beamed down a version 2 of my controllers! So now i have Thrustmaster Eng1&2 twice! I was using spad but might give that a miss but i cant seem to change anything under the controllers.. its always locked.. So, how do i delete all of these controller settings and start again?

Hey all, I realise that this is technically a hardware question, however has anyone used the Moza yoke or stick in MS2024? I am seriously considering upgrading to them. I’m wondering about anyone’s experience? I have seen a lot of YouTube videos on them but wondering if anyone has gone through purchasing them? I’m UK based so would be great to know if anyone else UK based has had any issues getting them delivered here? What’s the typical wait time? Do we need to pay import fees etc? I’m guessing the Global site is for us in the UK? (Prices are in GBP) Thanks in advance! Anthony

Hey guys, I know there was some fixes in SU3 regarding time not progressing with simrate so I wanted to test. Looks like you still can't pause the sim and also have the time in the sim not progress. You could do this before with sim rate adjuster, but this no longer works in SU3. When testing I noticed that if you press the ESC key and go to settings menu for example, when you go back into the sim the time has not advanced but it's actually gone backwards about 10 minutes! It varies depending how long you were out of the sim. Very annoying there is no way to actually pause time still and that the time actually goes backwards in some cases. UPDATE: th…

A bit of a bummer, didn't make it to a flight yet, just browsing the Market Place after the SU3 update and hit the Back button and CTD: No issues with Market Place in SU2. On the plus side the controller interface is less slow and a little bit better. Anyone else CTD from Market Place?

Even on my own Youtube channel and others I am at a loss... even my new 5090 no matter what the settings, hi or lo, you'll (or me) get a "fidget" a fast pause to me looks like loading data, a one time thing, on the ground , landing roll or taxi, not airborne anymore but ALWAYS on the ground, somewhere, sometime, large or even back woods field...... do we just need to give up on chasing this bug? Any other ideas you' all got? What has solved this if you don't have any fidget or stutter on ground? Like I said, I have tried all the settings to the point of exhaustion.

I am an ex RAF, and Commercial Pilot who retired in 1992. I have been involved in Flight Simulation for many years. Unfortunately, my memory is beginning to give me problems. I have been using MSFS 2020 since it was launched, and last November I purchased MSFS 2024. I have been trying to set it up using the same keys I am using on MSFS 2020, but without much success. If this is possible, I would like to contact any serious flight simmer who lives near me, who would be able to come to my house and help sort things out.
