Hi, I’m just learning the 737 Max, and wondering if someone has a checklist they would recommend that is not super realistic real-world, but streamlined for sim use… in other words, doesn’t include the stuff that’s pointless to check like fire tests, or other tests? EDIT… ignore this… I see someone else just asked this. Also, what is the current situation with saving panel states? Do they work ok? Does anyone have a turnaround state they can share? Lastly, is FS2Crew worth it? Does it help with immersion and getting the plane ready to roll?

I have problem that the Inibuilds A320 V2 is zoomed in somehow, the camera perspective is weird? Like the FOV is smaller than in other planes? Any ideas about this? It just feels wrong. MSFS2020. Here you can see it, in both photos i'm zoomed out as much as possible. https://imgur.com/a/SS1PvuC

Hi everyone, I'd like to know your opinion on the ability to save and resume a flight, a feature that apparently doesn't exist in FS2024, or is at least somewhat complicated. In my opinion, it's quite inconceivable that FS2024 doesn't have the ability to save and reload a flight by default, in a straightforward and simple way like previous versions: a simple menu with SAVE FLIGHT/LOAD FLIGHT, do you remember? This should be the basic, as decades of flight simulation experience have taught us. All previous versions of Flight Simulator, as far back as 2000, have had the ability to save and resume a flight. I say this is not only for reasons related to a possible C…

Hello guys, is there a way to access Lido charts without having MSFS2024 installed? Cause it says "Sign in with Xbox", but my Xbox is linked to MSFS2020 I think, since thats the sim I use. Thank you! Greetings, Christoph

Hi, Im on Sim Update Beta 3 on the latest Nvidia drivers, using fixed refresh and locking at 40 frames. Now the thing that I have noticed, 2020 and 2024 with the same settings and same locked frames via Riva Tuner. 2024 if I have native frame gen on, its not smooth at all, but if I turn frame gen off, now its nice and smooth at 40 frames. But if I do the same thing with 2020, its smooth with frame gen on. Anyone know why there is a difference in graphics between the 2 sims even though both have the same settings, same DLSS files via DLSS Swapper, using preset J and Nvidia App set to the same settings?

So many of you may remember this promotional image of FSX, which was a concept art drawing, rather than in game footage of FSX: Well, the coordinates of this lake and mountain is approximately, 48,796288, -113,660949. On my computer using an NVidia 3060 Ti card in 1080p, with most settings on medium to high, when I try to recreate this scene, I get this: Unfortunately, I couldn't quite figure out how to get the right cloud cover. And I couldn't quite figure out how to get the right wind direction and wind speed to better mimick the water in the original FSX promotional photo. Maybe somebody with a better computer in 4K, and knows how to tinker with…

A new problem appeared at FS2020. Basic controls, engines, etc work, but no switches, knobs, FMS, etc, can be operated. Tried with several aircrafts and no way.- Is there a fix to it ? Thanks

I've started scaffolding and implementing a new MSFS add-on I'm calling OpenPax. Passenger & crew add-ons for MSFS have been popular for many years, but since my programming roots (and really, what got my AAA game dev job) are open-source programming, and during my college years almost exclusively open-source game modding, I wanted to attempt and tackle a project like that, hopefully with a team of passionate collaborators, in a fully open way. I have a few very small open-source add-ons for MSFS already on flightsim.to (see here), but this is definitely a lot more ambitious than that. Although any add-on like this requires significant work, and I fully understan…

Any ideas on why it's seemingly impossible to get external power from the jet bridge? Every developer provides a silly little power cart rattling away on the tarmac next to the jet, instead of what 95% of airports use, which is a power cable that runs from the jetbridge. Not a huge issue in the big scheme of things but annoying, nonetheless.

A couple of the test flights I've messed with have started in a wide open area of KONT, so no push-back required, but now I'm trying a departure from KPDX cargo area that does need it. What I've found is that after a pushback is initiated all controls in the cockpit are frozen, can't start engines of course. At first I thought it was the PushbackHelper doing it, so restarted and then just used an Alt-P pushback... made no difference. Anyone else seen this, any solution? I know, it probably doesn't happen in 2020, lol, we REALLY need a supported native product here!

In MSFS 2024 I used to be able to go to a full screen mode removing the top and bottom tool bars by clicking on the ALT and ENTER keys at the same time. This function has stopped working. I don't remember changing anything in my settings. Any suggestions to get this feature back? What have I done wrong? Thanks

Hi all. I know there's always a lot of discussion about jitters but most talk about landing at large airports, etc. I am finding that I almost always have jittery landscape. If I look out at further away parts of the scenery it seems ok. But if I am flying using external view and look at the scenery at closer range, everything is jittering. I have tried changing lots of settings but I am not sure which changes would help with the constant scenery jitters. Can I get some help here. I have a 7800x3d and 4090 with 64Gb of 6000mhz memory. I am on SU2 currently. One would think I could get rid of the jitters with my system specs. I see videos on YouTube all the time…

Here's my reflections after Dev LiveStream 07/23. My optimism stalls midair. I duplicate my post on the Microsoft official forum looking for some "support" here as well 😉 I propose the creation of Psychological Support Group 😉 Source: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/july-23rd-2025-developer-livestream-discussion/730931/20 Source: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/july-23rd-2025-developer-livestream-discussion/730931/20

My MSFS PC stays pretty clean, with no other use that FS. This morning, I tried launching 2020. A second or two where it appears to launch; no spash screen ...then, nothing. No errors, no splash or load. Ethernet connection is good - solid up/down. No problems with web browsers or sites. I went to 2024 and had the same problem. Exact same thing; no load. Tried renaming my Community folder, but Windows says it's in use. Nothing strange in Task Mgr. Checked XBox app. Tried launching directly using the XBox "Play" option - same problem. FWIW, XBox Insider Hub will not launch at all. Any ideas? Thank you,

I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the Kodiak... it's handling with any kind of weight on-board is way too knife-edge to be realistic when you see how Ryan pilots that thing in Missionary Bush Pilot. I mean, in the sim, if your torque drops below 800 it literally falls out of the sky. If the real plane was as unstable as the SWS version, it would never be used. Anyway, I read a previous thread complaining that the Caravan in 2024 has horrible handling as well and was buggy, but that was back in February. Has it improved at all? Is it worth trying? I want a STOL workhorse with a turboprop and high wings and it seems the Caravan and Kodiak are my only …

I like to screen record my take-offs and landings (whatever I am looking at in the flight). In 2020, the recorder built into the AMD Adrenalin drivers worked fine, but in 2024 the recording stutters (even though the flight didn't). I tried with FSR3 on and off, no difference. What does everyone else use to record 2024, especially YouTubers whose video quality is very good.
