Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

What handcrafted scenarios that have not yet been developed for MSFS 2020/2024 or that exist but are of good quality that you would like to see developed for the simulator?

Hi folks, is there a way to blank all controls in FS2024 or a blank file template to download for keyboard assigned controls? I need to have a completely blank entry inputs, no need to have assigned keyboard mapping with commands I won't use ever, I want to set myself. Now I'm manually deleting one by one, crazy! Because it's too much fun 😁 Closest thing to riding an IRL Sport Bike in a flight sim: goes from Cold n Dark to 120 in no time flat, and is simple, fast, and handles whatever you throw at it. Yet still amazingly stable and well behaved when you need it. Get friendly with Force Trim and it's a delight to fly x-country - very light on the controls with minimal inputs. Does all the helicopter things very well and has already relegated any similar helo addon to obsolescence - across all sims (IMHO). 🙂 Taog's OH-6/ H500C - I prefer the Civilian avionics and High Skids, myself. 🙂

Does anyone know if Asobo or whoever will basically ever fix the sim so I don't have to always use the Task Manager and force it to close. In 2025 I have to say I'm embarrassed for them with such idiocy.

I used to be able to get rid of the bottom tool bar in 2024 by clicking on ALT and ENTER. I notice after a recent update to Windows 11 I can no longer do this. Is there another key stroke that might do it? Thanks

Been wondering if the paid version of this is worth it. Just looking for feed back from anyone who uses the paid version and is it worth it?

Unsure whether anyone else is having this problem, or if it's finger trouble at my end. This never used to be an issue, but it's happened repeatedly for the past six flights flying the PMDG 738 into a big airport. On arrival I get information from BATC on what gate/stand to arrive at, then I call up GSX and select the same gate, I call follow me, and then when I arrive at the gate, there's a plane there. As I say, I've not experienced this before, it's only happened over the past half a dozen flights or so. I'll look forward in hearing anyone's thoughts on this. Thanks guys.

I have msfs 2020 on drive c and still use it, so I installed msfs 2024 Steam edition on drive d. Whenever I start fs 24 from drive d, the program gets installed on drive c. Even if I delete it from c, it gets reinstalled when I start up from d. Not a huge problem but seems strange. I have made sure the startup path is set to d. Can someone tell why it is doing this and how to stop it? Thanks. Martin

SU 3 Betas - until a few days ago things seemed to be improving and the VRAM/over stressed resources was slowly being resolved. I suffered slow response, low FPS, over commitment of memory at times but very rarely suffered a CTD. Suddenly with the installation of 1.5.15 and now 1.5.16 I could not complete a flight of any kind - even with an empty Community folder. Sometimes the crash would be on the runway before starting, other times at 10 minutes into the flight. But, dozens of flights ended with a variety of error messages: - hung device/bad driver/overheated GPU - ROAR has stopped working - the application suffered a error - and others …

I'm curious if anyone else has been using the 2024 version of KTUL from Fly2High. This company hasn't been terrible and most of their products for 2020 were ok, but this version of KTUL they've released for 2024 is becoming a nightmare. I purchased the product day 1 and 2020 works fine; however, 2024 seems to have some serious terrain and performance issues. They announced today in a very confusing Facebook post that a 2024 "upgrade" has been released. I'm learning how to land a 737-800 using an RNAV approach. I'm trying to figure out what is possible. I'm aiming high literally and figuratively speaking. My route is from KMRY (Sacramento) to KTVL (Lake Tahoe) in California. See the approach chart to KTVL: I'm guessing that I'll be setting the altitude in the MCP at 14,000 ft, the speed at 250 kts, the course is for 172 degrees, and the IAF is "HETRY". I'm primarily a general aviation, VFR guy that often doesn't even make flight plans. Just a whole lot of "request following" as I move through areas. But I do like seeing and hearing activity around the busy airspaces, even if it's just AI. Any ATC addons that can give me more of that?

Hi, anyone knows the procedure in MS2024 and some experience with it ? I am just trying out the latest build for the first run and prior i had WASM crash after about 30 minutes inflight. Went back to MSFS2020 to continue the flight without any issues. Now about 28minutes into the flight i guess a save backup is in its place but how to ?(and loading as well) Thanks Michael Moe

Hoping someone who owns this can help me out here. I used this in P3D and figured I would add it in MSFS again but a bit confused. The marketing advertises this as: So "All-In-One" for me means it is self contained however if I try to purchase on Contrail it tells me that the base //immersion pack is necessary and tries to add the $25 product on top of the $15 for the 777 immersion. I have AMD Ryzen 5, 3600 on power managing setting High performance. Could the process lasso give me some fps/ more stable fps or is it even useful on my CPU as I have the AMD's power planning set up. I get some little dips in fps and would like more fps anyways. Setting the MSFS2020 "High" or "real" priority in task manager didnt help atleast.

Is there a way in the external view to zoom just the plane and not the scenery in 2024? I don't think this was possible but maybe I missed the change. Can it be done? I presume it works in drone view.

Thought I’d post this as I wasn’t aware until i came across a YouTube video last night. I was able to install the E-jets through contrail. I haven’t tried them in sim yet but hopefully will be able to today.
