Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I loaded the SR22 after the update and the PFD & MFD screens are very dim and unreadable. Does anyone else have this problem. I tried using the instrument brightness knob but all get is a flicker. To test, I loaded the G1000 C172 and the screens display correctly. Thanks, Mike

I just took the new Cirrus for a spin, handflying all the way.. When descending I got a yellow YD warning on the PFD.. Is that a feature, or a bug?

I've been flying around the world and only icing I was able to pick up is on windshield (no structural icing whatsoever) which making me wonder if this is bug! Am I missing something?

Cant find it in the hangar

Since updating to SU14 I get the 'DonelO crash' error when I start up the sim and then when I start a flight, a few moments in, just crash to the desktop. All been fine for two years and NOW I can't use it at all. Can anyone help?

Hey I have only done a couple of circuits in the Cirrus SR22T. I noticed If I try to bring her in on the curve. Elevator authority gets a little weak and if you need to power it up it takes the engine a bit to take. And with what little I know about Turbo's turbo's need to keep the RPM's up to stay in the power range sorta speaking. So I assume that is the way she would really handle to a degree. So am I right to assume with the new SR22T ya gotta kinda come in a little hot and keep the engine up in rpm's a bit for the turbo to stay in a less lag range sorta speaking? Thanks & …

The existing possibilities are these: PSXT + REALTRAFFIC: The good: The plane is exactly where Realtraffic says, and PSXT injects it into the simulator. It happens exactly as in reality. The bad: Until Realtraffic changes its server, we will have very little coverage at ground airports. Last year was incredible, but for now we have to wait. You can't use ATC either, because MSFS doesn't identify them. FSLTL: It injects you with planes into the simulator both in the air and in airports. After a huge amount of frustration, time and effort, I eventually got a message from FSS about the above problem. Uninstalling, reinstalling, starting as administrator did not work, but simply deleting one file is their temporary fix for the problem - it worked, but it apparently affects the use of the keypad, which is not regarded as a big deal! So if there is anyone else out there struggling with the same issues in this newly released aircraft here is the fix: 1. REMOVE the file fss-aircraft-tecnam-p2012\SimObjects\Airplanes\FSS_Tecnam_P2012\panel\FMSPlugin.js 2. I have found myself flying around Norway recently in my newly acquired, beautiful Kodiak 100 But I've noticed that much of the fjords and mountains are pretty low resolution terrain/mesh. Can anyone offer their opinions on my observation. I've looked at some of the replacement mesh on Flightsim.to but would like to hear first hand whether they are worth installing and if they come with any issues.There is also some 15m available from Taburet. Does anyone else think of "Tron" when you see the cockpit of this plane lit up at night? What an extraordinary design. I am not much of a fan of modern cockpits as I much prefer some steam guages with the odd panel thrown in but I have to say that I think the design of this thing is quite striking. I really love it at night with its illuminated Tron lines. It's very unique. Well done Piper and well done FS Reborn for you rendition of it. On the subject of night lighting in this plane, what does the DAY/NIGHT switch actually do? I can't for the life of me see what it changes.

I have been using the Google Map Mod now for a couple of weeks and really like it, the Google maps seem to work no matter where I am flying, Europe, Africa, New Zealand etc. My question is, has anyone purchased the enhanced version and is it worth it as far as the better maps they claim it provides?

As I proceeded along the taxiway, I was confronted with this queue of ground traffic: I make that thirteen vehicles, with a 14th and 15th on their way. And this was not a cheat - I didn't sit there and wait for them all to come along - they were already queued up as I approached. I think it may be that 2 vehicles approached each other from opposite directions and the rest have all just ended up behind them. Hi all This has been a problem for a while now, and not a major one but a bit irritating. I get decent 30FPS everywhere, locked solid, happy with all settings. In the cruise however after not moving the cursor for say 10 minutes, when I start to move I get a few seconds of panning stutters. Does anyone else experience this and have a fix maybe? All drivers up to date, using a 3080 and things working pretty well apart from that. I use FSLTL traffic but have it very sparsely set, only 5 AI aircrafts.

Good Day, I am having a problem with the EFB on fsreborn 500. Mouse clicks do not work on any of the icons which prevents me from opening any services required to fly the plane. I have been in touch with fsreborn but to no avail. I really would love to fly this plane. Any help would be greatly appreciatted. Cheers

Is there a way to have these show on the map under the name of the waypoint as I can with the GTN 750? I know I can see the constraints on the FPL page but during decent I like to just have them on the map. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

No matter what I do, I can't get either engine to start in the Tecnam. Fuel selectors in the proper positions (left on left, right on right). Followed the checklists, started each aux fuel pump, verified fuel PSI in the green, clicked off. Clicked the ignition switch, fuel PSI in the green, pushed the starter button. Engine cranks but never catches. Same for both engines. I'm at a complete loss. Can anyone figure out why my engines won't start? EDIT: I figured out my problem, see my post below.

For some unknown reason, all the taxiway and parking lines and markings have turned orange instead of the proper yellow. This has happened at ALL airports. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is there a reason for this to happen? Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks

As you can see below, when the primary Nav source for the TBM 850 HSI is a GPS, the course needle color and GPS lettering are light blue. This surprised me a bit since in my (admittedly limited) experience the color associated with a GPS course on a glass display has always been Magenta. It also seems a bit odd to me that two shades of blue are used in the case depicted below, light blue for the GPS and dark blue for the VOR1 RMI pointer, which might be an issue under some lighting conditions. If anyone has some real life experience with a Bendix/King EHSI 40 display, I be interested to know if the colors below are reasonably accurate. Just curious. Thanks,…
