Hi All, Happy Friday ! I have been toying with the idea of a head tracker for a while but Track IR 5 is nearly $500 in Canada which is outrageous so I decided to look at alternatives. First I picked up a used PS3 Eye cam for $10 and tried facetracknoir (Face tracking) which was OK but not that accurate. I then posted a question on the Opentrack Github page about head tracking without an IR clip and was told about Aruco Markers. Basically you print out a special marker, mount it to a piece of card or other stiff material and stick it to a baseball cap/hat. Sorry for bringing this topic back to life again, but I seem to be lost reinstalling, I d/l V7.2A from my account at Simmarket and followed the instructions. Created a folder from the .exe which turned out as a .zip file on my Desktop and then copied the Fall Season and Model Assets folders into my Community folder. However no change in Foliage in the north. I contacted Bijan via e-mail and asked if he still supports the s/w, said he does, have not heard from him in over a week. Maybe someone here had the same problem and needed help to fix the issue. Thanks all.

Hi everyone. I’ve added a second Boeing TCA quadrant to my current one (with the yoke pack) to allow for spoilers, throttles and flaps. I’m using the third axis for throttle one, and then the 1st axis on the second quadrant for throttle 2, on the 737. All buttons recognised in MSFS settings. Second quadrant set to 3&4. First set to 1&2. For some reason reverse thrust will not engage on engine 1….(was working fine with everything on one quadrant). This is on PC…

Setting minimums on the PMDG B737 takes a ridiculous amount of time, particularly if you are going into high altitude airports. I'm not sure how many hours I've spent scrolling tediously with my mouse but it's a lot of time. Does anyone know of a shortcut?

If i'm in the Cockpit View, and i Controll my Plane with the Controller, then my Seat (Camera) Moves. for example: I move the L Joystick to the left, my Seat or my Camera is moving to the left. Can somebody help me? I like to play in the Cockpit View. I need to Fly with the Camera Outside until it's fixed..

With these three GA advanced simulations on short final, some embarrassing choices are ahead! These three aircraft are all unique in their own respects and can't really be compared except that all of them have turbine engines (the Duke will also come in a piston version), and all have steam instruments. The Black Square developer makes a good point encouraging us to use only steam gauges to navigate and avoid any screen, this is what I was used to back "then" in the real world... before GPS existed. Not sure why I just thought of this now, but when installing detailed city packs from Orbx, SamScene, etc., is it necessary to delete the Asobo cities? I always do this when I install payware airports, but never even though to do this for cities. Cheers, Pete

Hi, after installing the World Update XV Nordics, I observere several texture artifacts, especially at and around airports in Norway, such as ORBX ENGM Oslo Gardemoen as pictured below. I did an uninstall and reinstall but still same bug. There havent been any updates to this scenery either. Also, there is a sharp edge just north of the airport where there is snow. Should it be like this?

Hello, I just discovered the C-160 Transall by Azurpoly and I'm just wondering if it's a good quality airplane. I never heard of this developer before. Visually it looks fantastic, description says it uses 8k textures. It says in the description that a lot of systems are modeled which is what I want. My main concern is the flight model, I'm kind of picky about that and it doesn't mention anything about that in the product description. It doesn't need to be perfect but I want something that's at least close to real world. I hate those Captain Sim type airplanes where hardly anything is modeled and they also use generic flight models that are nowhere near realisti…

Hi: Does anyone know what's the meaning of a message in green that's frequently (I always get it) displayed on the EWD in the ATR saying "TLU LO SPEED". According to the ATR's FCOM TLU stands for Travel Limiter Unit, which is related to the movement of the rudder to structurally protect it against forces produced at high-speeds. Until now, I don't have any idea on know how to get rid of it and be able to complete/pass the TO Config OK check, as it's always displayed and there's the ringing suggesting something's wrong with the aircraft's configuration before T.O..

I want to use the Active Sky Program for Simbrief and informational purposes only. I would like to tell you step by step about an important problem that I cannot solve... - I am running the Active Sky program. A few of the the aircraft have autopilots that are just beyond me. Today I thought I'd try one, just setting up a flightplan to go direct from LA to Seattle. It wasn't until I was in the air that I noticed there was no plan loaded in the display, so I couldn't even hope to get it to follow the pink line. It was only then that I remembered that...I never used to follow a pink line, just flew using the VORs to get me from place to place. I did that and got to my destination, although the controls are a bit odd, resulting in a bonejarring-but-survival thump when landing.

I bought the TDS GTN750/650 and have been happy with it. I use them in Just Flight Piper Warrior and SWS RV-14. However, it seems that both airplane can only be set to have both 750 and 650 installed in the cockpit. Is it possible to configure any of MSFS small airplanes to have only TDS GTN 650 in cockpit? The reason I want that is because the airplane (Piper Archer) I'm going to train in real life has only a single 650, so I don't want to get spoiled by GTN750 at home.

When I am doing preflight stuff I notice the sidestick in my fenix a320 rocking slightly back and forth. My thrustmaster stick is pretty old. Is this a problem with my stick sending inputs when I am not touching it or is this something with the sim itself? Wondering if I need to replace my stick.

Would love to see all my flights on a map. Is there anything out there that can read the logbook and do this?
