Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Having a issues first time i visited the content manager for awhile when i click the content manager i keep getting the dreaded spinning circle, and nothing loads. I renamed my community folder to some thing else thinking it might be a addon thats causing it but nope same thing everything else loads but the content manager. Also noticed that the market place download says unavailable as well and live weather unable to select as well Whew big relief maybe solved my issues found out in my data settings some how the online function was switched to off now can get live weather back again

Hey everyone. I finally broke down and rebuilt my computer with some great components, reusing what I could from the old 3090 build. So everything is brand new, from the Windows 11 Pro system and down to every application I had before (Phew!). MSFS is working great with the new build, but I noticed two things either odd, or I just don't remember how to adjust: 1. There are no ATC voices. The ATC window is working fine. I went all through the assistance options and I thought I had the right one(s) turned on but no voices. I have the sim and Windows sound device selected correctly. I can hear the engine and cockpit sounds, just no ATC. 2. I seem to remem…

Hi, I was doing flights from/to Addis Abeba (HAAB) the last days and ran into some (i believe) issue with the outside air temperature. Last flight for example i was taking off with a TAT of 16 degrees at ground level (field elevation is around 7500 feet) and during initial climb the TAT suddenly started rising to around 25 degrees in about 2 minutes. It then startet do decrease again and i reaced 0 degrees at around FL300 which obviously resulted in a pretty bad climb performance (PMDG 738). I know Addis Abeba is hot and high but this seemed a bit off to me. Has anyone else seen similar things lately? Best regards

Hi folks, Is there a parameter that I can bind to my hardware to set the flight director to ToGa? This is usually a button on the side of the throttles but I can’t find anything in the controls section that seems to apply. The closest I found was to engage autothrottles, which, obviously, is not the same.

Hi, has anyone out there found a way to lower the animation speed on inboard aileron on the 748? When doing a flight control check that part of the wing surface goes up and down extremely quick. Plus the spoilers during flight can basically open up all the way too.

I installed this MOD which I posted about before here on these forums: King Air 350 G1000 Cockpit Mod for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS Now I'm finding at cruise the King Air flying with the left wing lower as if it's turning or fighting a crosswind. It's always the same no matter the weather conditions. Do to the terrible state of the default avionics i this bird I haven't tried it without the above mod. Just thought about this while I'm away from my home PC on business so I thought I'd ask here has anyone seen this behavior and is there something that can be done about it? Thanks in advance.🍺

Take off with saturated textures. Climb to 24000ft and the textures almost look black and white, very little colour. However, when descending for landing, I see nicely saturated textures loading in. Anyone else notice/solved this?

Got this 1.35.15.0 beta update today, changed the sim for the worse-far worse, buildings missing, scenery unrealistic, color off, what happened with this update ?.

Since about the last 12 hours I cannot seem to get MSFS to load photogrammetry / bing data - anyone else? I've cycled the data on and off, restarted sim, PC, tried with no community folder, etc. No luck.

Hi there, as most of you are aware, our API is bombarded by invalid METAR API requests which required us to limit access to the METAR functionality. To protect ourselves from such events in the future, we are making a change to our infrastructure between 15:00 and 16:00 Zulu today, if everything goes as expected no impact should be noted. After the change we will carefully monitor our website, documentation site and API. Once we are convinced the change has the expected result, we will open up the METAR API again in the 24 hours following, restoring all API functionality. Happy Flying!

Hello all! I recently cancelled the xbox game pass and purchased the standard version. Still asks me to sign into a xbox account. Must one have a xbox account to use msfs even if they do not have a xbox game pass? Thanks

Hi, I seem to have a problem with the taxi lights on the default 747, they flash on and off about once per second whenever they are switched on. Could someone confirm if this happens for them and is a bug? If not it may be something in my own set-up that I need to investigate! Thanks

Can anyone tell me how to change the mfd display data (at the bottom of the screen) so that instead of showing 'cab alt' etc it shows 'ground speed true air speed' ? thanks for any info Hugh Butcher

There is a Pre-Takeoff Check for illumunation of "Spoiler Lights" (located Upper Left O\H "SPLR"). The "SPLR" Light is never illuminated, I usually ignore it, but I am curious to know what I may be missing in my pre-flight setup?
