Seeing as how I live in South Florida, humidity is something I am well acquainted with. 🙂 However, I did not realize until today that the Humidity slider in the Weather section really affects the look of the world. I have always been unhappy with just how BRIGHT the scenes out of the cockpit are sometimes, and while this effect is still overdone, in my opinion, I had no idea that one of the major culprits of my world being so darn bright sometimes was weather themes that have high humidity in them. Still testing my fresh install of MSFS with everything still at default, I flew a Land's End to John O'Groats flight (using the nearest runways to those locations) whilst visiting the UK's highest peaks en route. Anyhoo... After 4 hours 40 min, I'd had a single micro-pause early in the flight and nothing else amiss when suddenly the PC shut down. I immediately reached for the top of the case to see if there was an excess of heat but it was significantly below the sort of temperature I'd expect to cause a problem. I purchased MSFS 2020 and put my product code in Microsoft store but can't find link to download. I've been using MSFS since the 90's and never had so much trouble. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if it's because of my fresh install (and/or that I haven't re-installed any of the World Updates yet) but my Logbook (which still contains all the flights from the original installation) loads immediately instead of taking several seconds to an eternity. I know the 'eternity' issue was addressed in the previous update, but it seems to be back to normal rather than enormously improved as was the case post-SU13. Agreed, or am I just going to find out it's still a bit sluggish when I eventually re-install everything else?

Hello all, I have a problem (since at least SU13) and I'm wondering if this is known and there is any workaround: Whenever I create a IFR flight plan within the sim or via SimBrief and the departure is set to anything else than "direct", the starting location is always reset to a runway. Even if I repeatedly try to select a gate or parking location, the dropdown menu resets to the runway and the flight will start sitting on the runway, even though on the world map the gate or parking location is shown as start of the flight plan. Is it only me, and if not, is there any known workaround? I can start from a gate or parking though, but then I have to set the departure t…

not sure what's going on here - i'm not getting any audio from the default ATC text-to-speech systems, either Azure or offline. the output device is system default (which should be working fine, as all other sim audio plays correctly) but i get nada for voice. and it's not just "muted", because the ATC dialogues advance instantly, meaning the sim isn't even "trying" to play any TTS audio. any help would be most appreciated! 🙂

Somehow my mouse has taken to turning the curser into a hand when I put it on any knob and the knob turns a pulsating blue. When using the Garman, I can no longer push in the center of the knob to allow me to change the radio from COM to Nav when I want to change the frequency. It used to show an arrow or a finger, but now it is showing a hand and you can't push in any knob control. I can just rotate it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello, a weird one, I successfully did some flying this morning, exited the sim and restarted as I often do in between flights, only now when the main menu loads I can't click anything. I can hear the music, but I have no mouse cursor and can't navigate the main menu at all. Any thoughts?

I reported a problem yesterday that Live Weather was not injecting any clouds or rain as depicted on my METAR but it was injecting QNH (baro pressure) and Winds. Done a bit more investigating and have cleaned out my Communites folder and just tried to set the weather (NOT LIVE WEATHER - JUST CUSTOM) to Storm or Rain or Overcast. No clouds or rain being injected for any options. I'm at a loss - any ideas? Paul

I have flown about 8 flights using the new atc default atc and have had good luck. Flights in the TBM, FSR500, and the PMDG737. Completed gate to gate with no issues using simbrief. Just wondering if anyone else has tried. I have FSHUD and like it, buti it is nice not to have the over vectoring you get with FSHUD. I used the asure voices and was wondering the more for the default atc or is this all. Also used FSTL with good luck.

Dear: I purchased/downloaded the PC-12 from Simmarket last night. I have the follwing queries: 1. GPS Options: During installation, it offers to choose between GNS530 or GTN 750. I use the paid premium version of PMS GTN 750. But after installation, after loading the PC-12, if I want to select GNS 530 instead, how can I do it? 2. Just wondering if there's something on my end or is there something off with the fuel range of their BBJ. The range of the BBJ with AUX tanks is 6,000nmi. A flight from Atlanta to EGGW (Luton) is 3,646nmi. The PMDG BBJ tells me 'Not Enough Fuel' with AUX tanks fully loaded with the maximum tank choice option. Basically, I can only get half the range of the real BBJ. Is anyone else seeing this?

A few times now after trying to exec a flight (using FBW A320 I hit escapre then I say go to main menu I see picture loading ad bar moving indicating it loading again It just stays there So a few times i had to go to task bar and terminate 2020 Anybody had this?

I have my pilot avatar set to default but I don't see anyone inside the plane. Is there another setting to have him/her appear? Edit: my pilots seem to come in and out. I guess it's a texture/object that is the last to load(?)

I am having a strange problem after SU14. At handful of airports I have departed from / landed at I get severe stuttering. There is really no rhyme or reason to it I can figure. I have some intense paywares that are fine, JFK and SFO fine, but then for instance the stock DFW and DFW give me issues. Again, these are airports that gave me no issues priro to SU14. This is also with DX11. Tried DX12 as well but no difference. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks. Dave

I've got about 30 ORBX sceneries/airports. Is there a way to easily delineate them from the defaults?

Can anyone please tell me if the world update australia is the cause of bad performance with ybbn cityscape and airport? Does anyone fly that route without Australia world update? If so can you please share your experience? thank you Mike
