This may or may not be a dumb question, but there doesn't seem to be any sort of "basket" option when buying stuff from the Marketplace. I seem to have to buy stuff one item at a time. Is this just how it works or am I being stoopid? It's sale time there and I grabbed a bunch of things but I had to go through the whole payment thing for each one. Not a big deal, but just seems a bit odd.

Hi, I fly in a Cessna C172 (MSFS) but just lately I'm having issues with my thrustmaster T16000 FCM throttle when I push the throttle up to take speed it bounces straight back to zero and when setting my flaps they also do the same everything else appears to work fine so far apart from these two, have have lubricated both my throttle and joysic, any help would be appreciated JM

Hi all I am looking for a widebody for the christmas holidays as I'll have time to fly longer routes. Good performance is essential to me, think PMDG 737-700 level. And as for detail, well I like reasonable detail but I'm not fussed about the uber detailed stuff with blemishes on the break disks modelled. I like a relatively realistic flying experience with VNAV and LNAV, and a decent FMS, but I'm not looking for absolute study level engine management and parameters etc. The closest thing I've thought about is the default 787, but I have the basic version of MSFS. Any thoughts? TIA.

When Simbrief generates an OFP does it consider runway length and runway state (wet/dry) when setting a TOW as the new PMDG EFB does? Because, when setting up a flight in the PMDG 737 departing from the short NZWN 16/34 runways for 3.5 hour flights to cities on the Australian east coast, the PMDG EFB comes up with a MTOW that is way lower than the Simbrief TOW - more so if the runway is wet. I think I have the following explained correctly. AMD's DSR is not very efficient and hurts performance but improves the image. DLDSR is AMD's AI version of DSR and it can be combined with Nvidia's DLSS on Nvidia RTX cards. Which the presenter considers to be the holy grail when settings are optimized to bring it all in balance.

From Aamir Hello @everyone! So, today we learn about project management and why it sometimes sucks. I have, by all accounts, some really great news. The CFM external engine model has progressed rather briskly, much more so than I expected. In my expectation as project manager, I pegged it at around 4 months to completion from when we started. As such I scheduled it for launch alongside the A321 and A319. What actually transpired is that we started working on it.. And then finished it. In 6 weeks. It is now in testing and we’re finalising its failure behaviours before pushing that out for our testers to break. Why did this go much quick…

Hi, During the past few days, I have been using again my Aerosoft DHC-6 twin otter for some caribbean ops after a long time away from the sim. Although this aircraft isn't supported/sold anymore by Aerosoft, it still work great (for the most part) and I like it but God, I forgot how bad the rendition of the KAP140 was. On the other hand, I also own the excellent Analog Caravan from Blacksquare and it also has a KAP140 that works just wonderful! How it should work actually. Any good brain know if it would be possible to make the DHC-6's KAP 140 behave the same way as the Analog Caravan from Black square ? I am not really talking about how the gauge its…

I have recently purchased the FSHud product. Driven by the decline in Realtraffic data coverage for PSXT, I wanted to enjoy a new ATC for a bit. Also being able to go to airports with worse or no ground coverage and see how FSHud, in conjunction with FSLTL, injected and controlled planes. I read what FSHud has in its advertising and decided to spend 34 euros, convinced above all by the fact that FSHud would control each plane individually, just as they claim. In a way, I enjoyed seeing planes at airports where PSXT is now unfortunately unable to inject them due to lack of data. I also enjoyed hearing a voice direct my plane, keeping that in mind. Wer…

Hi Guys, Im new to MSFS from a long time user of P3D.I totally love the graphics, but 2 things(for me anyway) are well below what P3D offers, that is the night lighting and the night sky i think they just look terrible.I was wondering if there are any addons payware or freeware to enhance these 2 features. I have most of my settings if not all to high or ultra, still nothing changes. With Thanks, Gary

The previous thread was closed and had an incorrect title so... Remember to update the in-game content once the sim loads.

If anyone was in need of another Rotax powered two seater with G3X avionics Pixel Plane & Aerosoft have you covered with their new Breezer Sport. Looks pretty enough but I'm pretty burnt out on these kind of planes so I'll skip this one myself, at least until it's in a sale. https://www.aerosoft.com/en/shop/flight/microsoft-flight-simulator/msfs-aircraft/4216/pixelplanes-breezer-sport

Wow, what a milestone reached. I didn't even notice the MSFS forums here at Avsim has surpassed 500K posts: It must have happened in the last month or two months, where 500K posts was reached? I think MSFS is quickly setting new records at Avsim. If the admins keep MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 in the same forum when MSFS 2024 is released, there will be a chance for the MSFS forum to reach 1 million posts at Avsim (something that no other forum has reached, not even FSX). Cheers to the most popular and most advanced civilian flight simulator out there.

Hi all. I received an email from Just Flight about their sale and noticed that Real Taxiways has a reasonable discount. What are your thoughts on this product? Does it improve things or does it cause more problems than it’s worth? Thanks, Alistair

I love flying around the Seattle area and already own the other DD airports and Seattle, so I was elated to find that they’d released KBFI and bought it immediately. Did a quick flight from KTIW to KBFI in the DC-6, landing from the south, and no stutters at all approaching the airport or on final, certainly no worse than default. Very nice...brought back happy memories of visiting there and the museum on vacation. Only issue so far is a bunch of trees right on the actual runway when not using photogrammetry (and I don’t). It looks like it’s been reported in their forums so hopefully a fix soon. This along with the other DD Seattle airports plus O…

Hello everyone. When I'm parked at a gate in whatever airport Fs Hud ATC gives instruction to any IA plane to hold short while taxing in a taxiway close to my gate. And then never give again the instruction to continue taxi. This means the IA remain stuck forever in the taxiway (and my aircraft is not occupying the taxiway, it's correctly parked at the gate). Does someone have the same problem or have a solution for it? Thank you!

Is there a reason, or is it a bug, that there are more Landings than Takeoffs in the flight log? I understand that can happen if I start in the middle of an approach, but sometimes I'm on the ramp, or doing a float plane takeoff from a sea port, and the log doesn't show I have a takeoff. I've also noticed that landings don't seem to be counted if they are in a sea plane either. Are these bugs, or am I missing something in the bigger picture?

I was just wondering if there is a way I can manually set the default zoom distance for inside the cockpits of individual aircraft like in a configuration file or something? The default of 50% is ok for some aircraft but not for others and I want a way that I can have it so that the aircraft load up with the correct zoom distance that I want and also when I hit the "reset view" button, it will revert back to the zoom level I want instead of 50%. I hate messing around with the camera zoom sliders in the camera options menu while I'm trying to fly or using the mouse wheel which is not very precise. Thanks
