Hi folks. I currently pay $100 a month for gigabit internet service. I am a retired computer engineer so I love fast internet. However, I am moving about 50 miles away to an area which has all fiber connections, which is a good thing, but costs $150 a month for the same speed service. I know you don't need nearly those speeds to just stream 4K video. But I wondering what your thoughts are on what speed you need to use MSFS without internet constraints? Thanks, Rob

all, having read this from @Farlis I also downloaded the iniManager from their site, installed it over my existing install and suddenly all my 3 airports were updating. wonder since when I missed these updates, curious whether performance is better now. just sharing in case someone else may want to follow below advise

The ground handing is just not right. Way to twitchy. I love the way the BS TBM handles on the ground. I know know 2 different airplanes but is there anyway to make it feel more heavy? Dont get mad just asking.

Can someone please explain the quirks exhibited by the PMDG Boeing 737-600 in MSFS? Why does it always exhibit a very slight pull to the left (even after I have calibrated my CH Flightstick Pro joystick)? Why does it veer to the side with the slightest twitch of my joystick after touchdown? Why does it take ages for the REV light to appear (and therefore delays activation of the thrust reversers)? I assume that these are universal problems that affect all users of the -600 (and maybe also the other versions)? The second issue is probably something to do with having the same control inputs for the nosewheel as I do for the ailerons, but the other two …

Been having this issue randomly and can't figure it out. Basically when game is loading (Steam version) the blue progress bar gets to 85% and just hangs. Causing me to shut down msfs and try again. It then asks me if I want to load in safe mode or normal. I then click normal and most times it loads correctly. Has anyone had this issue and if so, is there a solution? I'm using the addon linker program if that helps. Thanks Bill

I have the Logitech Yoke/throttle quadrant. I have all software updates for it and MSFS. I'm on Win 11, 32GB RAM. All quadrant controls, Throttle, Pitch, Mixture work virtually identical in Windows settings. Both throttle and mixture work and slide through a full range of movements with virtually identical Sensitivity settings. I'm using Carenado Arrow 3 and 182 RG. I'm just starting to use constant speed props in MSFS. I understand the real world theory, but I can't seem to configure the control in the simulator. Hi Iam new to the forum and need a little help. When popping out the panels on the A320Neo onto another monitor the Primary flight display wont popout. All the other panels do. Ive searched high and low and changed nothing within the configuration. Any Help would be really good as Iam at the stage Iam pulling out whats left of my hair Thanks

Hi guys, My MSFS has started to CTD all of a sudden consistently while loading into iniBuilds's KLAX. The exception code is 0xc0000005 The things that I installed last are as follows: - iniBuilds GSX profiles (BTW, I didn't install the GSX file for KLAX since iniBuilds never releaed one). - Frame generation mod (I've since removed it). I've checked the integrity of files using Steam, which caused MSFS to reinstall about 130GB of file. Once everything was installed, I tried loading into KLAX. CTD after a few seconds of the loading screen just like before. I then uninstalled GSX and all the profiles. Then I uninstalled iniBuilds KLAX and installed the A…

Hopefully a Stream Deck expert can help me out. My Stream Deck XL was working just fine as of this morning. Plugged in my new Plus Unit and it did not want to control anything in the Sim. At this time, the XL unit was still working correctly. Uninstalled and installed latest stream deck software and current Axisandohs program and stream Deck profile. After doing this both units refuse to work. Icons are displayed but for some reason not connecting to the sim. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Is anyone else getting a constant GLIDESLOPE warning when making an RNAV approach to runway 12 at this airport? I am bang on the glide path when this happens.

So here goes. I just installed the FSW C414 which is a great plane. First flight with stock 530, went fine, notably because there was no flight plan in the GPS and I had to follow the MSFS stock ATC which went OK, warts and all. Then, I added the mod which allows to load flight plans into the 530, and all went fine until, you guessed it, the approach, and I had happen to me something which I thought was a thing of the past: the AP basically crashed the plane. At some point, the AP sets the plane into a curve, and since I was set up for landing, full flaps, gear down, low speed, I had an unrecoverable stall (a couple of other things happened to as in new keyboard and …

I enjoyed a nice and sunny holiday last week in Fuerteventura from the Canary Islands. Arrival at GCFV and departed from GCFV after one week with a stop over at GCRR Lanzarote with destination EHRD. I was so impressed by the view on the islands landscapes from my airplane window that I decided to buy both airports for my MSFS. I did buy GCFV (from MKStudios) via the Marketplace, that airport subsequently was installed in the OFFICIAL folder (strange enough as an ORBX airport). Next I did buy GCRR from Justflight and this airport is installed in the Community folder. Now with both airports, when taxying from the apron via the main taxiway to the runway threshold…

I've never liked the look of the sun in MSFS. Its like a white hole in the sky. Anyone know if there is a better sun texture available anywhere?

This is pretty basic but for whatever reason I can't figure out how to use an unlocked camera when on the ground in external view. I go to external view and I am very limited in how much I can move. Basically circling the plane. I want to be able to move around the airport or zoom in close on certain parts of the plane. I'm really not sure what i am doing wrong. I can't move around the cabin internally very well either (other than jumping to preset views) although I am able to move around the flight deck. Primarily I am focused on wanting to be able to move around externally when on ground.

Title says it all I guess, I loved the Carenado version in past sims and love this plane and all the great repaints the talented community has put out so far. 4 hours and many takeoffs and landings later I love it. I saw the American Eagle examples at O’hare but never got to ride on one, and even today am lucky enough to see the Air Cargo Express 360s fly up from Milwaukee to my home airport Sheboygan County and do touch and gos etc. Now I need to spend some time researching historical (and todays) routes/schedules for this adorable little plane.

Had first opportunity to load MSFS in a week or so and was greeted with a required update. Performed the update, but now MSFS hangs on initial startup. Tried to eliminate the Community folder by re-naming the folder, but the computer will no longer allow me to rename the Community folder. It insists that there is a folder or file in the community folder that is in use. Even after multiple complete re-starts of the computer, it still insists that there is a file or folder in the community folder that is in use. I scanned Task Manager but I do not see any thing that is obviously associated with anything found in the community folder. Does anyone have any suggestion on…

Nowadays there are so much one can do and so many options in PCs that I was getting distracted away from MSFS. There were times I got bored in MSFS going from Point A to Point B. MSFS was turning into a kaleidoscope-like type toy for me. Every time you shake the toy, you get new beautiful patterns to look at… but there's only so much shaking one can do before one gets tired of new patterns (sceneries in the case of MSFS). That changed Christmas day. Santa gifted me Meta's Quest 3 which brings new life to MSFS. Two words: amazing technology!! Likely a breakthrough product for Meta.
