Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Anyone remember this really useful funcion in all previous FS installments that for some reason was totally abandoned in the MSFS camera system? 😉 Is there any tweak/tool to get it back? Also i dont really quite get the way the MSFS camera system works. I set up the pan/mouse cursor switch in cockpit view in a similar way i did with FSX/Chaseplane before, but if I zoomed in and then switch to mouse cursor again, to actually operate my instruments, the zoom resets itself. Kind of annoying.

In other words your orientation to the RWY in real life compared to MSFS, to make the PAPI lights look neutral. It seems when I land by PAPI in the sim, then I will land a bit farther than when not using them.

Hello, I have 2 questions regarding Inibuilds. Is it necessary to create an account with Inibuilds? and How secure is it? I ask because Im considering to buying it and that I never have bought from any vendors outside the U.S. I sure like the A300 they just release, have seeing some previews and videos....thats why I ask. I purchased Aerodesigns KPWM scenery because I fly there a lot and not many options. It's a complete frame rate killer, almost slide show. What good is add-on scenery that looks great but kills your frames to the point of having to lower your settings to use it? To compare I have KBOS from Flytampa and KDCA from ORBX, much bigger airports, with no noticeable impact to performance. Disappointing will have to uninstall PWM.

Hope its ok to ask this here. Im new to VATSIM and would like to use a certain UK Airport's LARS but whenever I look there is no controller there. I might just be choosing bad times and wonder is there a schedule anywhere that shows when Controllers are booked in?

Is there a way to import a SimBrief plan directly without going through the rigmarole of using SimBrief Downloader to put it in the MSFS flight plan location and then loading the plan in MSFS etc?

ok, I don't understand this. I got DynamicLod No matter what I do it says my frame rate is at more or less 27 FPS Same inside MSFS frame counter Changed cards to a 4070ti. Nothing changes. (No matter the settings I use.) Yet in Steam, it says I am getting almost 60 FPS Also, testing, I know the sim is way better with the new card. Also, when I start DynamicLod, my steam FSP drops 20 frames. So what is the deal with these counters or am I doing or reading them qrong Ron

I started the sim this evening and noticed severe graphics stuttering with Frame Gen ON. Closed the sim and applied the latest DLL's from latest version (dlssg-to-fsr3-0.81) and this fixed the issue. Graphics are butter smooth again. However I really don't know what caused this. Whether the DLL's became corrupted or not? My sim has been running fine (no crashes).

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but in the HJet I enter the Com1 standby frequency and enter it. It saves. But when I try to transfer it to the main frequency i lose it, and then both the main Com1 and standby are the same again. I am assuming it is user error, but I can't figure out why. Any ideas? I'm looking at the RNAV chart for Page Field, KFMY, Runway 31, and as I read it, the FAF is almost on top of KRSW, a large local airport in Fort Myers Florida. And not only that, but it appears right in line perpendicular to RSW runway 06 at 1500 Feet. I will look up the airspace for KRSW, but it sure seems like this is right on the approach for commuter jets landing on runway 06, which is a very common approach. There is only one runway at KRSW. Hello, Flight Simmers, I recently found an issue with my FENIX A320. I installed the Toolbar Pushback addon and when FenixA320.exe app opened on the loading screen it said: Toolbar Pushback is known for causing issues on approach. I immediately removed it from the Community folder. Now when the fenix.exe launches, it doesn’t say that message but my A320 keeps struggling on approach. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance. I found this invaluable with P3D/FSX but haven't used it at all with MSFS. Is anyone still using it, and if so, for which aspect primarily?

I've been using MSFS since 1998, built my own PC back around 2000 and with a few upgrades along with way I ran FS with full sliders on WinXPsp3 up until a year or so ago. I've probably flown the Eaglesoft CitationX around the world 20 times or more plus endless trips into Aspen and anywhere else interesting. For a challenge the CaptSim F104 was a favorite. That computer finally died and I guess its time for me to start over now that FS2020 has been around awhile, but I dread a huge learning curve, again.. Hello, I just bought FlightControlReplay v5 and I'm getting started with it. I can display and position a "gosthplane" but it is impossible to record a flight with the restitution of the "gosthplane" (I display the "gosthplane" and click on "record" => "gosthplane" disappears). I have set the 747 up along with a simbrief flight plan for the freighter variant but when i load my payload my CG is out of the range and makes me add a ballast. Is there a way to fly the 747-800 as a freighter instead of the normal intercontinental variant?

Since MSFS was launched, the most infuriating thing I've found was that the settings and filters that are set on the map screen are not saved between sessions. So those darn clouds have to be removed every time I look at the map. Launched the sim up this morning and BAM! .... the clouds were already set off! Came back from work, launched the sim and same again - the clouds are not there by default any more. Is anyone else noticing this, or am I seeing some sort of wonderful (but perhaps temporary) anomoly that is keeping my map filters between sessions? PS...
