Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I am running Trackir v5 and had no issues until the last several months. Upon restart every day I have to start then restart Trackir about 20 times before it is finally recognized. Then it works just fine in MSFS. It is just annoying to start and restart it so many times each day to get it going. I have tried switching to ports but no difference (it is plugged directly into a USB port on the computer). Any ideas? Thanks Darcy

When I move my sidestick on the Headwind A330 it's snow and stays where I release it, pulled back or to the left or right. It should return to the neutral position. What can I do to fix this?

I bought the Honda jet from the marketplace, and I think I am not running the latest version. I can't get the autothrottle to do anything. On Youtube videos, there's a switch to move between FMC and Man. My version has nothing like that shown in videos or the manual. The version info says 2.1.2, but it doesn't look like it really updated. Is there any fix for this, or do I have to buy it again? I deleted and re-installed and still nothing. My speed dial just does nothing, and I think that the autothrottle was added later and my plane just isn't up to date. Am I going crazy? I've watched multiple recent Youtube videos, and everyone seems to have the newer button.

So as a few may have seen on the other thread, I bought the FSS Tecnam P2012 a few days ago, and after installation, found it to be in a 'non-activated' stated, with no gauges or switches working. I contacted FSS support and Aerosoft support about the issue. A few days later, there have been some friendly and apologetic emails from FSS (but no advice or ideas for moving forward) and absolutely nothing from Aerosoft. No replies or assistance after almost 4 days for DRM failure for a customer's initial installation. Hi, I just purchased tht Bonanza/Baron bundle from Justflight, and I must say, the first impression is quite disappointing. I hope this was no bad bargain. Firstly, the avionics configuration is not saved. The aircraft starts with the GTN750/GNS430 every time. I shut down via "Main Menu" and "Quit to Desktop". I want the GNS530/KX155 configuration, since normal GA aircraft don't have avionics representing the value of a luxury car. I don't have a GTN, and I don't want one for this aircraft. What is the latest version of Global AI Ship Traffic, and where can I download it? I have seen links to v3 Ultra, but is this the very latest version?

I tend to fly a lot from JFK is the inibuilds worth it or is the hit on performance too much? Also looking at orbx CYUL. On the west coast I am looking at flytampa klas and potentially KSFO and KLAX. Maybe Vancouver. Out of these airports are any to be avoided? Are they well optimized? Primarily flying the fenix.

I fly the DC-3 and the RETRO panel using the Duckworths mod for the DC-3 and am having trouble using the auto pilot. It works fine in HEADING and APPROACH and ALTITUDE HOLD, and VERTICLE SPEED mode, but I can't seem to get it to work in NAV mode. I have searched but can't find a good video to show how to use it in English. Does anyone know of one? Thanks

Regarding this topic which has quickly grown to 29 pages as of this writing: There are likely many on this forum like me who haven't had time to try this out and/or read the whole story, but are wondering if it's worthwhile. Has anyone else observed VSync not working lately in DX12? I'd observed some screen tearing recently, and I tried turning VSync ON in the Nvidia Control Panel instead of inside MSFS itself. To my delight, the screen tearing suddenly disappeared completely. Previously, I just turned VSync on inside MSFS and it worked fine -- until lately. Anyone else?

Hi guys, Looking to supplement my planes with a small airliner. Looking for something specific. I bought the BA 146 a while back and giving this a go. Looks good, but its so old, its really meant to be flown VOR. As anything come out in the same size range (Don't want a big one), but a little more modern. I know there are not many users of this aircraft, but I hope I can find a solution. Since the update 1.35.21 when I click on VS and use my mouse to select VS to increase or decrease my VS it doesn't show up on the AP. However I can see the indicator move on the instrument panel. I have sent a email to the developer but no answer for the past two weeks.

I excavate my RemoteFlight small COM gauges app on my iPhone* I just redownloaded the app and notice that it doesn't seem to support 8.33kHz or a way to set Sedona AWOS on 118.525 or Clearance Delivery at Montgomery 123.725. Anyone knows if there's something to tune to make it support 3 decimal digits? Per subject... Or the PMDG 737 of Helis... You get the idea. Are there any "study level" sort of helicopters out there that are comparable in quality to the aforementioned planes? Flight modeling is the most important priority to me. Looking for something that's considered best in terms of "feel" relative to a real chopper. Systems modeling is a second priority... Any recommendations?

Hi i in the process of building myself a GA aircraft cockpit. Would like to use the G3x instruments but as i read the feedback it seems that lot of people complain about it that it is not up to standard. Like to copycat the VL3 or Sting 4 cockpit. Any other aircraft to be used advice please.
