Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Anyone else experiencing lots of really bad stutters lately today? My sim runs smooth I would say 95% of the time. Tried out the Huey in San Diego area around 430 MST today and boy was it bad with stutters and pauses. Curious if any one else is experiencing this.

Hi, I've updated the AIRAC thought the Navigraph Hub, but still the FMC shows data as being out of date? Is this an issue? Many thanks, Ben

So with say half max load /range are there many UK airports that this thing can use ? I only do 3 hour max flights. I'm guessing Lukla isn't an option or Cardiff 🤣

Could you guys recommend me the best boat, helicopter, jet and GA plane for sight seeing? In FSX and P3D it use to be the lancair legacy.

I have read some posts relating roughly to what I have experienced, but just wondering if anyone here knows of my specific issue and whether it's more widely recognised. I have never had any issues with my PMDG 738 up until the last few weeks. I can't remember if it happened prior to SU15 or not. TBH, I think it may have been around before SU15 if I'm honest. Might as well have a topic on this now since the 777 is out and the MD11 is releasing soon. Specs are in my bio. I am doing a flight from KSFO to NZAA in the 777, in real time. The flight has been going for about 12h30. I honestly won't do this real time flying all the time, but I wanted to "stress test" the sim and my system. Luckily, my system seems to be humming along just fine. All temps are within normal limits, HOWEVER, there has been a noticeable degradation in sim performance. I'm not 100% certain why this is though. I do run the updated BING maps plugin, so, even though the flight has been over the water, it may be that the cache is building up fairly rap…

So I usually have slight curves for the main axes for smaller planes -- Bae146 / MD80 / 737 etc. What's the score with this beast with it's FBW? Any opinions ?

I reckon 2024 Premium Deluxe version, should include: monthly AIRAC updates, Jeppeson charts and improved flight planner (in sim) including weight and fuel calculations. Simmers would be happy to pay a bit extra (say $200) for all of this and for the Convenience. Microsoft will get an absolute tonne in sales with more simmers choosing Premium Deluxe. Also the sids, stars and approaches should display neatly when choosing on the map so that flight plans can be easily created in seconds! And it would be convenient to have an option to display little wind or metar icons as well.

My Chrome Browser was blocking PMDG website pop up screen to download Product. As soon as i unlocked in upper right corner little Tab that was locked ( the TAB actually had a lock symbol ) ... bingo download began. FFT, Cheers, Steve

Hey guys, have an issue with my thrustmaster hostas X throttle and the FB neo and fenix. For some reason most times, the throttle input in the sim is either delayed or doesn’t always move in sync when flying the fenix or FBW neo. I don’t have this issue with the pmdg 737. Sometimes I have to pause the sim and go back in and it’s responsive again. Sometimes I push the throttles up and the airplane starts to move in the sim but yet the throttle in the sim aren’t moving. any ideas??

I got the big discord announcement its being released on Contrail and Aerosoft One, but so far I haven't seen any signs of it for free. Aerosoft has it for sale but it won't allow me to enter the serial number provided to me from FSS to get for free. Has anyone been able to download the free edition yet?? and it's not available on Contrail either.

From what I have read, the planes shown in the two MS2024 official videos, will be present in the sim. Hello, Can someone tell me where the wind data comes from when you request it in the MCDU? is it from Simbrief or does Fenix use it own server for that? The reason I ask, is because I do a lot of my flight plans on Simbrief the night before the flight to save time, but if the wind data is taken from the Simbrief flight-plan then I take it the winds I upload will be out of date. Thanks in advance for any info on this.
