  1. I thought i had seen it mentioned that maybe a 400mm x 400mm x 4mm thick aluminum “plate” would work (after drilling holes), but wondering if anyone has come up with any other solutions. If you went the route of the aluminum, where did you get the plate (link? usa here), most of the plates i see are not smooth or have very sharp edges. Also, software wise, with msfs, is it just running the software (and maybe picking a profile) and thats it as far as use goes with the cls-60 itself? Thanks in advance

  2. Saw this message on the Tobii discord... MSFS simmers, did you hear our talk about camera boost at FSExpo? @Sim-Flight Do you want to see camera boost in MSFS? 3. Does the app have to be modified for the 777? I tried to play back a landing sequence for the first time yesterday and the 777 had a violent seizure.

I seem to remember that MSFS was discussing some sort of in-sim method of uploading and downloading community addons. But, as far as I know, that wasn't discussed at FSExpo. I wonder if it is still in the works. It would be handy to have.

After the usual splash screen all I get is a black screen with a small white circle in the bottom right corner. Tried starting in safe mode but same thing. Anyone else seeing this?

  8. Been flying this for a few days now. Set it up the same as all other helos (cyclic axes, collective axis, tail rotor axis, no manual changes to the curves, didn't even look at them.) So I went into the settings yesterday to make sure I had added a tiny dead zone to the cyclic. Discovered there were huge sensitivity changes already there for the cyclic sensitivity (up to 80%) and the rudder pedal sensitivity (50%). Has anyone else seen that? Does anyone know if that's maybe just a normal side effect of them using the updated helicopter SDK? It's so weird that those should be there with a default install and controller setup. In addition, when loading both the Huey and t…

  12. I’m tempted to say FB KSFO or FT EHAM, but just loaded up at EBBR to fly around in the 777. I forgot just how alive this airport feels. Just a masterpiece, and it’s nearly 2 years old now. What other “WOW” airports are out there?

  13. The issue i am having is mostly during final approach. Since we cannot really feel the effects of movement, i am finding myself mostly need to fly the vertical speed indicator, instead of looking more outside and correcting by feel. You all of a sudden look at the V/S to find you are going -1500fpm. Is there some way to maybe simulate camera going up/down when encountering up/down drafts ?

  15. I noticed none are airliners, so that's not his thing. Although 1 is freeware, and 1 also mentioned is too, some of these are more expensive than average. Which is why I don't have them all. No surprises, I don't think.

Flying the 777 from Athens to KJFK today and just south of St Johns, the sim started the most ridiculous turbulence - every 2 seconds the autopilot disengages. This has gone on for about 45 mins so I'm hand flying it so I have better control over the violent shifts - the autopilot is useless here. . But not sure if i'm wasting my time. I have turbulence set to Low in the Piloting options. Really massive updrafts, constantly every 3 seconds for 45 min - so far. This must be more to do with a glitch in the Asobo weather system than it has to do with actual turbulence. A look at the CAT map on Windy shows nothing remarkable for this area. Anyone else had this …

Hi all Any ideas how to disable the heat blur on the TBM? That weird shimmering that comes out of the left hand side of the engine is just off putting and not realistic. I've managed to do it on the PMDG by renaming the heat blur effect file, but it does nothing on the TBM. Any ideas?

  20. Hi. I was reading this flight.fandom.com wiki page on MSFS, and according to that wiki page, it claims that "Around 60 percent of Asobo team got their pilot license in the course of making FS2020": Here is the link to that flight.fandom.com wiki page: https://flight.fandom.com/wiki/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator_(2020) Unfortunately, they do not provide the source where they got that information. I know that Seb got his PPL already, and I believe more Asobo employees did learn how to fly in real life, plus Asobo hired some real life pilots to help with testing and collecting data, but I have never heard that 60% of Asobo got their pilot license. That figure see…

Hello community, Looking for some advice. Everytime I go through the checklist, and GSX backs me up away from gate on the PMDG 777 they tell me to engage the parking brake (I do), then when I want to taxi after they unhook the pushback rig the parking brake disengages correctly but the Sim still thinks it is engaged (Parking Brake Configuration error). Anyone else have this and figured out to get around it? Thank you in advance.

I have a Intel i7 8700k and the GTX 1080 ti. Monitor : ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B 34? Curved HDR Monitor, WQHD (3440x1440), 165Hz, 1ms, Extreme Low Motion Blur, FreeSync Premium, Eye Care, DisplayPort HDMI USB, Height Adjustable, DisplayHDR 400 I am looking to upgrade the GPU to an RTX 3060 Ti. Would that be worth it at a cost of $600 with this system? Should I see better FPS? Would welcome your comments!

I am watching the stream of blackbox and he is showing the FlightFactor 772 for Xplane, I was watching it thinking it's the new PMDG and was really impressed by it. I noticed that he is not flying the pmdg when he used the EFB. I can understand why the use only one EFB for all their aircraft, however, to be honest I don't like it. I think it was special to have the original Boeing EFB, I will miss this feature for sure but hope if many people dislike it, they might implement it. However, I can see that it's not economical to maintance different EFB. I am sad about that.

... caved in, bought the 777 and just tried it on EGLL to LFMN with the add-on airports and photogrammetry, using the RNAVZ22R approach. This is the curved one that follows the sweep of the Promenade d'anglais in Nice. I thought it did a good job. Some unexpected behaviour in that it wouldn't descend below the final fix altitude on autopilot (you don't use APPR mode for this kind of approach in the 777, unlike the a320) - but that might be because I set minimums prior to the final fix, or some other user error. The auto throttle didn't really track the programmed speeds either but again this could well have been user error. If it was possible to fly a curved ap…
