From Randazzo in the PMDG forum: So PMDG is paying over 300K USD for their cloud server, and they also sold 6000 copies of the 777 within 3 minutes. 6000 x $77.73 USD = $466,380 USD, in 3 minutes. The revenue for the PMDG 777 will probably be several million USD, if I have to guess, especially when it release on XBox (I think it may even sell over $10 million USD). No wonder why PMDG can afford their own private jet:

I was debating whether or not to get the 777, because my typical flights on A Pilots Life are around 1 1/2 hours. I flew my first flight today, and loading the aircraft with fuel for a 550 mile flight, gave me a V1 which was about the same as it would be in the 737, and the same for the approach with a low V ref.. I landed on a 8500 foot runway with plenty of room to spare, so this aircraft is fine for the typical short flights that I fly. BTW, it flies great. Landing was spot on, around 150 FPM.

Hi Everyone I fly a lot on Vatsim and with Easyjet/BA Virtual airlines. The one thing i am missing is getting a bit more involved in the economics of a flight - for example ticket cost, fuel, staffing cost etc. Any suggestions on an add on/app that i could use on the side to day to day flying? Apart from poor engine sounds that PMDG has for their planes, why they are still using same voice for callouts (V1, rotate, etc..)? It’s new MSFS platform, won’t it be nice to re-work the whole sounds and record new voice style rather than copy and paste from P3D? Same goes for pushback voice sounds. The same voice has been used for many years since FSX era if I am not mistaken. I had to always rely on third party devs to fix poor made engine sounds. I wish Boris had been involved with them.

I posted this on the PMDG forum, but wondered if anyone here would have any ideas. I have good FPS except when approaching V1 on TO. I get one single stutter for about half a second and then it goes away. How can I get rid of this?

Would appreciate any feedback on the A320 Immersion by Parallel 42 released last week! 1. Any large impact on the frame rates when effects are visible? 2. Are the effects scalable? Can the user decide when those effects appear? Wing vortex are always on in clouds or only at certain humidity? Any feedback would be appreciated! Cheers.

So, I have just bought the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals. Started using them on the Fenix A320 with -50% sensitivity, and it seems way to sensitive. I can't keep the plane on the centerline properly, because at the slightest movement, the plane turns way faster than expected. I have to make very small movements to actually be able to at least keep close to the centerline, though the plane still wobbles around it. This is the case for other planes too, tried the default Cessna 152, the PMDG 737, each plane seems to turn at the slightest rudder input. Are the rudder pedals such sensitive in real life also?

I had ATC traffic alert to make visual with traffic, 6 o'clock, flight level zero, it was for traffic on the runway of the airport I was climbing out of on takeoff. Glad this happened only once and not every time in the sim. I had to laugh. Jeff

Hi, Just started a week ago with the career mod Neofly 4. Did a few flights with the default Cessna152. Then I decided to sell it and rent the JPL version C152. The rented plane was available at another aiport then my location. So I travelled to that location to start a flight with the JPL C152. There it went wrong. Spent several hours to fix the problem but without result. The problem is in the message "waiting for matching plane and location"!! Well the pilot, thats me, is at the right airport and the JPL C152 is at the same. The livery is also right chosen (blue metal). In MSFS also the right plane chosen with the right livery. Hey there, the older I get the less time I have for long flights, yet I love the idea of departing one continent and landing on another. I mostly fly study level aircraft and haven’t been able to find an alternative to jumping ahead in the sim. Does anyone have any ideas? I tried developer mode (teleport window) but that didn’t work for me with complex airliners. Thanks for sharing and ideas in advance, Pete

Just wondering, for a frequent flier, what kind of data usage are you seeing every month?

Here lately I've been getting this message that says my bandwidth is too low and I am being switched to offline. I have been using this sim since it came out with no bandwidth problems and I know this is not the case. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? Is there any way I can switch back to Online mode? I fly low and slow just to enjoy the scenery and discover new places. This takes away this enjoyment from me since the offline is about the same as FSX. It also won't let me use photogrammetry. Roy

Tried parking at most of the gates and the nose of the plane is inside the building. I even installed the GSX profiles and made sure to update GSX Pro as well but still having those issues. Anyone else having the same problem?

I can't find any reviews of this recent release. Are RDPresets a quality developer?

Greetings. I'm having a problem loading approaches for iniBuilds KBUF (recently updated). In the avionics, KBUF approaches appear on the list but fail to load in the map. Happens with all default planes using WT avionics (others?) and all approaches. I have tried many fixes with no luck. I would greatly appreciate if someone could confirm this is not on my end. Please try any default plane with WT avionics (e.g., anything with G1000nxi), and see if you can load in an approach listed and confirm it appears properly in the avionics map. Thank you.
