For the last 2 days Navigraph is not displaying any weather data for me. Anyone else?

Video games can be described in terms of being open world, sandbox or emergent. With all the discussion we are starting to have now regarding MSFS 2024 and what it might (or might not) bring, I thought it may be of some value to those interested to understand just where MSFS 2024 might be going in terms of the genre. Empty Community folder DLSS/Performance/FG on - all Traffic set to 0 - all airport stuff set to 0 weather clear no wind C-172 on S end of KTIW Rwy 35 cold and dark - sitting in cockpit wide view FPS starts at about 25 works its way up to 40 for a while then jumps to 60 (capped in RTSS) and stays there for a while - then suddenly drops back down to 25 to 30 and wanders around sometimes back to 40. Not sure what happened I didn't add any sceneries recently but the MSFS world on my computer is missing most of the shrubs now. Anyone else experience this?

I have a basic understanding how you can create checklists. The problem is, that when I try to add any kind of checklist the ingame internative checklist panel stays blank. I put the XML file here: F:\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\fnx-aircraft-320\SimObjects\Airplanes\FNX320\Checklist This is the place where MSFS is installed. Checklists for default planes work normal, so I don't think it is something setting related. Out of all the annoying addons, this might be my least favorite. Not because they don't do as claimed, but because there are simply SO MANY OF THEM. I know there was a marketplace addon recently that charged money to do a more "global" "water fix" but I refused to pay money for a product that vaguely claims such a global range of "fixes" #1. This is obviously a core issue within the sim with a laundry list of addons addressing the issue individually.. Why hasn't MS addressed it themselves? #2. Is there a true more comprehensive addon that addresses this instead of collecting a fragmented collection of addons, or tossing up $$$ where the results will vary? …

Hi, I have been using a freeware scenery for the airport of Talkeetna in Alaska after watching some videos of (famous) GA pilots from that area. It's one of the sceneries available on the .to website. Unfortunately, I'm facing a severe issue: the scenery looks very good, but it suffers from a bug that slows dramatically the liading time of the flight when this airport is selected. Normally the flight loads in less then 01:30 minutes, but with this scenery it takes almost 5 minutes for no reason... Actually the description of the scenery warns about this bug, but I missed it somehow... So I'm looking for alternatives. I have tried the other scenery for that…

I have the alpha xpc controller and when I run msfs on steam, it recognise as the alpha. The diagram layout does not look like the xpc layout. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or is this how it suppose to be?? I almost never update my GPU driver if it is working OK, but two weeks ago I started having problems with connecting to the internet on my PC. Restarting the PC fixed it temporarily, but then it happened again the next day. My CLX PC comes with lifetime tech support, so I called them explained my problem and after a few minutes, he asked " when was the last time you updated your GPU driver, I told him " never, it is the original driver that came with the 3 1/2 year old PC).. I had CTD yesterday after ending a successful flight (dx12 related). Then I restarted the Sim. Alas, it suddenly asked for 1.77 GB size mandatory update. Asobo also downloaded the 747 and A320 which I intentionally had deleted to free some space. So I downloaded the update. This time Asobo forced my settings to default, controllers, graphics, all of them. Not only that, all the flights after the update suffered stutters on final/approach. SU15 has been a perfect cure for my stutters, until last night where I also experienced like others did; stuck in update screen.This repeated issue is beyond belief 😔 Any insights would be much appreciated

I'm just looking for heading/altitude hold, not a true autopilot. I set up Spad to turn the Chinook AFCS to "both" and press the correct heading hold/ baro altitude hold buttons and you can see them move in the cockpit, but the two buttons move and don't light up. Not sure AP is ready for prime time yet. Just updated it via Orbx the other day. Pretty much the same result using the msfs control bindings. Hi, I'm on driver 552.22 and even tried 555.85 and the latest 555.99. Since SU15 Ive noticed plenty of shimmering even on DLAA when before there was none. Also see what seems to be more jaggies when using DLAA when the image is not in movement. Once I start moving or panning it seems to kinda go away. Anyone else notice this? Or any recommendations? Active sky - Live or sim weather in PMDG settings I am using active sky. PMDG has a setting for weather with a choice of Live or sim. Which one will use Active sky weather. What if active sky is using historic weather. Does it really make a difference anyway ?

Hi, just a little question regarding this and its behavior. I have set up my HOTAS pan right pan switch (labelled nose down/up/lwd/rwd) and sometimes it takes a while before they work 100%. Sometimes it works moving forward/back and sometime left/right . Then again sometimes half an hour in or at cruize everything works again in all directions or at-least 3 out of 4. Anyone else having this ? And another one - flying above germany east of EDDH EDDV and cpu temps just rised 10-20c at FL320. This hasnt being fixed. Thanks Michael Moe

I get an error in the microsoft store: CLiP license id does not match the device in the bound device license. None of the solutions I've found on the internet work. Does anyone have a clue about what to do?

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this. The spoiler on the Fenix A320 is no longer remaing armed. After a random amount of time it just disarms. I thought it might be some jitter on my spoiler axis so I increased the deadzone but that did not help. I tried disabling all aircraft addons in my community folder and even uninstalling a few in the content manager but I'm still having the issue. I do have a support ticket open with Fenix but they have not responded yet.

After using msfs yesterday, tried restarting today with no system changes and stuck on checking for updates. Restarted and rebooted 4 times and still stuck. What on earth is wrong with asobo, microsoft and this damned sim? All this after 3 or 4 days of server problems and loads of time wasting too.

Hello, I'm curious to hear what people think of this airport, especially around performance. I know when it first came out there were a lot of concerns about performance, but there have been several patches released I believe and I'm also not sure how much of that was the airport itself vs the general challenging nature of performance in the New York area. It's on 40% sale right now at Just Flight so I'm contemplating a purchase. I have been using the freeware version available which is decent, but for this major hub I'm willing to spend a bit for the improved visuals and detail if performance is workable. Thanks for any insights.
