Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Wondering if there are any procedure experts that can enlighten me on this. Going from P2ATC which gives you everything before descent, to BATC which gives you a STAR & runway. On Garmin that's not an issue as you can just enter that, doesn't seem the same on FMS based systems. In general I am choosing the most precise approach and then adding a transition only if it connects to the STAR. Which so far has mostly worked out.. Is that how it *should* be done, or is there a better way? In terms of aircraft I am looking at both Boeing & Airbus if that makes any odds whatsoever.. G

Has anyone managed to get the refueling truck to stick around longer than 1 second? I'm not looking to have the truck "virtually" refuel, I know the A300 doesn't have GSX integration per se, but it would be nice if the truck would pretend to refuel for a reasonable amount of time. I've tried many combinations of when I apply simbrief load, enter fuel amount, etc. The best I get is the sound of a one second squirt of fuel or the truck just departs immediately. If anyone has figured out the correct settings and data entry flow to get this to work, it would be much appreciated.

This odd issue began occurring yesterday - after starting a flight I realized that I needed to load a different joystick profile. After hitting ESC, the sim started lagging badly. Once the option menus were finally displayed, they were pretty much unusable because the lag was so bad. I renamed my community folder and disabled all external addons but that did not help. Has anyone else experienced this?

To make DA42 more authentic, COWS reduced nws, added brake fading, and reduced brake power in last update Unfortunately this does not work with my thrustmaster rudder. Hitting max rudder deflection and brake, aircraft still moves opposite direction, until after some fight it does turn max other way. Maybe it is a bug too. The guys at Parallel 42 will be releasing their first aircraft's immersion package for its already released SimFX utility. Sounds very interesting for people flying the A320. They're many: Fenix, iniBuilds, FBW, Asobo v1, LatinVFR/HorizonSim (haven't missed any?). At their site, they mention the A320 immersion the new effects will work for every A320, except some on the latinVFR buses. The question will be if those new effects will show on those A320s that are "encrypted" (the developers need to "open" them to P42 beforehand). I normally use Alt/Enter to switch between minimazed and full screen, since yesterday, it works no more as before, when I hit the combination, the screen switches from full screen (borderless in fact), to a bigger screen which exceeds the borders. Alt/Tab doesnt work either, and also selecting window, or full screen at the MSFS graphic options. So I cannot access to other aplications while MSFS is on screen.I wonder what had happened.

The fairly new ATC option to force flight plan settings (such as runways) has never worked for me. It's safe to say that in at least 10 of the last dozen flights, ATC has ignored the runways in my flight plan and assigned the wrong ones.

In all the aircraft using GTN750NXi I see the correct bezel and knobs but a black screen. I am a long time user of the TDS GTN stuff. The JPL 152 and Cessan 414AW were both working perfectly with the TDS 750 the last time I flew them - probably before Christmas. TDS GPS manager says I am current at version 1.0.3.7 for the sim and 3.6.4.0 for the trainer. When in the sim/Dev Mode I see that two TDS packages are mounted and registered: tds-gtnxi-gauge (version 1.0.11) and tds-gtnxi-jpl_c152 (0.1.0 ). Downloaded the Duke turbine. Everything was working fine. But now the throttles go crazy flickering up and down. Put The throttle all the way up and it scoots back down to idle. I have the latest download for the Duke. I rechecked my control settings and everything seems to be ok. This has to do with the Duke only. I switched to the Baron and other dual engines and the throttle works fine. Any ideas what I have to do to fix this? Thanks Walt

Hi... I have the Throttle Tek Flightbox 2 and have had it for about 2 years. I love it. However, I keep running into issues. I sent it back about a year ago to have it fixed and now am running into an issue out of nowhere that my right engine throttle is constantly moving in the sim. I have calibrated in windows per the youtube instructions and that didn't seem to change anything. I plugged the flight box into the PC directly (used to be in a hub) and that didn't work. I've calibrated in the Fenix MCDU and still get the movement on the right throttle. Hi, I posted a thread a couple of months ago in this forum, regarding what I then thought was a lack of aileron movement on both the PMDG 737-800 and the Fenix A320. I have now revised that view following the release of ActiveSky. I now find that when using ActiveSky, I can visually see the ailerons moving when in choppy or turbulent weather on the Fenix A320, but not on the PMDG 737-800 in the same conditions. ActiveSky is set to Live Weather as is MSFS. Initially, I thought that this was down to a difference in the programme code, and had accepted that fact, hoping that PMDG would rectify the situation in time. I am new to the github environment. I downloaded the project but I am having problems doing the installation. There is a Powershell sxript called build and run, Not sure what to do to install msfs2020 map enhancement master?? Any help would be appreciated. Still like the good ol Setup.exe. Thanks!
