In all the aircraft using  GTN750NXi I see the correct bezel and knobs but a black screen.  I am a long time user of the TDS GTN stuff.  The JPL 152 and Cessan 414AW were both working perfectly with the TDS 750 the last time I flew them - probably before Christmas.

 TDS GPS manager says I am current at version 1.0.3.7 for the sim and 3.6.4.0 for the trainer.

When in the sim/Dev Mode I see that two TDS packages are mounted and registered:
tds-gtnxi-gauge (version 1.0.11) and tds-gtnxi-jpl_c152 (0.1.0 ). Here

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the Garmin trainers? Looks like the problem is when TDS is trying to call the Garmin trainer software.

I'm thinking that... yes. Updates break stuff over and over.

BUT ... of the last (pre-Pro) dozen or so,TDS updates, around 8 or 9 have been making the FlightsimWare planes 'work with it.'

Says it all really.

With constant updates there's NO stability. Yet I've NEVER had an issue with the TDS in OTHER addons.

And the dev is VERY patronising. I don't wish to engage with such negativity.

Early access... you live and learn.

Hello, as the developer of the TDS GTNXi, we are sorry of the experience that you have previously had with the software. We care very much about our customers and have always helped our customers, as attested by the many customers who we have helped, both here and in our official Discord/Forum.

Yes, there have been a few FSW changes, so we can get in line with the updates to the LJ35, but this has produced a solid system and in the past two months we have not had a reason to offer any updates to the TDS GTNXi for FSW products. This was an opportunity of closely working with Mark from FSW in order to improve both products. It was not an easy task, but this is showing our commitment in order to quickly release new versions, sometimes having more than one release per day.

At TDS Sim Software we are not in the business of accusing customers, but being courteous to them, if you ever felt accused by one of our team members, for this I apologize, but I highly doubt that this is the case. If you have any issues or questions with the TDS GTNXi, we kindly invite you over to our Discord, either publicly or via a private message (DM), so we can address them, thus giving you the opportunity to fully enjoy the TDS GTNXi. Thank you for understanding us as well.

For everybody interested, the TDS GTNXi is not Early Access and we stand by our product, both by supporting it and helping all customers with their issues, as quickly as possible, in order to fully enjoy the purchased product, as well as continually adding new and exciting features to the TDS GTNXi. All I can say is that I asked my question on the TDS support forum, they promptly responded, we worked thru a couple issues and the problem was resolved.  

I could not ask for better support.

Hmmmm.  I’ve been a customer of TDS almost since day one.  Never, NEVER have I observed the TDS Developer show anything but the utmost courtesy and care to customers.  The helpers that hang out on the TDS discord are volunteers and they tend to be a bit sharp at times but they too are almost always helpful.

I suggest you do as the developer suggests and DM him on the discord so you can share your concerns freely and in private. I suspect you will both leave the convo with a better feeling both as a customer and towards each other.

Yeah, the other poster barely has anything regardless. No other posts from what I can see. No issues with TDS software that went unresolved promptly with good customer service.

Sorry TDS. No one at your company has been rude to me.

Your GTN works fine with all my addons EXCEPT the FSW Lear35.

It is THEY who are being rude to me on Discord ... suggesting that the inconsistent ILS capture behaviour I experience is because: and I quote -- " I do not know how the GTN 750 works."

This is absurd of course because:

1. It works fine with all my other compatible addons.

2. I have been using the GTN 750 since the Flight1 days... FSX/P3D ?

3. It works " sometimes " in the FSW Lear... about 1 time in 10.

The issue is not with you.

Secondly... There are NO videos showing ILS approaches with the TDS.

SO ... PROVE IT.

Even more 'experienced' --  tubers using the TDS --  do not show ILS approaches !

And... I said that "sometimes" it works.  ...Given a broken clock is correct twice a day... this inconsistency  -- 1 in 10 in my experience  -- is not good enough.

Today it worked at Cardiff... but not at Leeds Bradford... where it either locked on to the Localiser OR the Glideslope. It would not hold the Localiser once GS was armed.

I'm using TDS all the time in different airframes and ILS works as expected every time. I believe what you experience is autopilot problem following ILS  which depends on what 3rd part aircraft you are using, FSW Lear is  ever-changing and still work in progress.

I always fly ILS manually but the rule of thumb works in both cases - you must intercept GS below . In most cases for me autopilot would not follow GS if approached armed while GS below.

Here is point of GS capture. 90 min video of me using FSW Lear and TDS GTN was flawless the whole time. I arm the GS at 1:15:00 mins well under the glidescope.

Is this the proof you wanted? Sorry if it was something else!

EDIT was supposed to START clip at capture.

It's at 1:18:38 precisely as ac passes over FAF countdown on the 750.

Well, to be fair your post(s) are kind of hard to follow by who you're blaming for ILS issues. A lot of have several different planes and use TDS along with it without any issues, including the Lear. To be fair, there is no manual for this plane. So, TDS isn't at fault but its FSW? If it only works 1 out of 10 for you, and nobody else, then I suspect maybe there's a step missing?
