Still tweaking my new rig with the rtx4090. Wow, I am impressed with the improved performance over the old rig with the 3070ti. Whats happening is when i click on monitor 2 to perform a task, the frame rate drops by one half, and the mouse cursor has to be clicked well left of the buttons. I am playing the game on monitor 1. Why would switching to monitor2 cause this to happen. Never happened on the old rig.I am using TAA with frame generation ON. Monitor 1 is on a DP and is 4K, monitor 2 is HDMI and is a 1440p.

There is a "new" & cheap B717-200 now available on the Marketplace from developer FSX360 - however the ONLY relevant reference to FSX360 I could find is in the thread here on the MSFS CS B717-200 referring to the directory structure of the installed version so I did some cursory checking and spotted that not only is the Marketplace text and the CS Store page text identical, screenshots of the Marketplace 717 are using the "CS" livery of the Captain Sim version and indeed one of the screenshots is almost weirdly identical to on the CS store page. Hello chaps, I have a i7 6700k (will probably upgrade later in year or next) running at 4.5. I have a 1080 GPU. Use Vsync to lock at 30Hz. I have been running MSFS happily with the PMDG 737 at reasonable settings in 4K (well, with 80% resolution scaling). I find MSFS more demanding than P3D v5 (still my main sim) at 4K. Anyway - what are my chances of running the Fenix at 30FPS? I limit traffic to about 30 aircraft or less at busy airports, but do enjoy flying into payware airports such as YMML/YSSY etc. AND - is there a verdict on the best way to vsync? Through MSFS or through the nvidia control panel? Any insight much appreciated! Cheers…

After installing manually or using Simbrief's installer, when I select load in MSFS there is no flight play or rte. I can see it if I check it's location but not when trying to load. I have hidden folders selected. Bob G.

With latest update of BAE146 i have the problem taht the AP is disconecting constantly, making the plane unflyable. Don't know if sensitivity has changed in last update Any fic for that? thanks

Does anyone else see severely degraded performance with the latest build? I'm not sure if it's the extra calculations for separation but since that came out, I'm getting horrid stutters starting on descent when FSHud manages all other aircraft approaching my destination. As if FSHud wasn't hard enough already on performance (15 FPS loss with 20 parked and 20 active aircraft), it now hammers my CPU so much from descent onward I'm getting stutters that make flying in VR nearly impossible because the picture is sort of wobbling around like with motion reprojection when you don't get enough FPS. When I start the sim (in safe or normal mode) I see the Installation Manager error message: You are missing packages that are essential to run Microsoft Flight Simulator. Please update the application and try again. This is a Steam installation and Steam has verified the integrity of the folders and files. I use ProcMon64 to watch the sim read all it's file from the Steam library. Many, hundreds, of the Packages folders, e.g. Asobo-Aircraft-208b-grand-caravan-ex are missing their ContentInfo folder and their manifest.json file. With the release of the G3X by Working Title, I think it's time to crown MSFS as having the best default GA avionics for a flight simulator used at home. Nothing comes close to MSFS at this point when it comes to default GA avionics. When I press ALT F3 my Nvidia game filter loads, but Brightness/Contrast does absolutely nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Hi I have the latest graphic drivers, DLSS file 3.7.0 and the latest Frame Gen DLSS file 3.7.1 installed in MSFS however I've noticed since SU15 I'm getting these jaggies that are a bit more prominent that was showing with the prior version on MSFS. Same with shimmering. I have have also cleaned my Direct X cache on my PC and NV control panel. Also cleared my rolling cache in the sim. I have created several scenery object in FS Design Studio V3.5.1. I would like to get them into MSFS. Is it possible to convert them to MSFS format?

Tried the new 320Neo(v2) and cannot push or pull the AP knobs. I had no trouble in the previous Neo. Is there a trick I'm missing ? Jim

Is it normal to have for MSFS2020 to take a few attempts before it loads? Sometimes it never gets past the initial startup screen but more usually about 2/3 the way through there is a brief hiccup and it is at this point it either quickly recovers and loads but may crash particularly at the start of the day. A reload or two typically fixes things sometimes a PC reboot is needed. If it is a problem with my MSFS2020 install or PC what should I be looking for? My PC only recently came back from the local PC repair shop after a complete overhaul mainly software related and with an opinion that I had no hardware issues. I do have the latest Nvidia driver for my 4090.

I fly in and out of Atlanta a lot but at night the ramp is pretty dark. I figured since it's an Asobo Airport they would have fixed it by now. I noticed a KATL Airport Night Enhanced from DreamScenery is on the Marketplace. Anyone using it and is it worth the $10? Looks like the latest update was 30 May, 2024.

Regularly when I disconnect the AP on approach in Fenix A320 I get a really strange yawing motion from right to left. I thought it may have been the rubbish Thrustmaster plastic rudder pedals so I replaced them with the Thrustmaster pendular rudder. But, I'm still getting the same thing. It's very irritating on a stable approach to disconnect AP and have this weird right to left yawing motion. Can anyone help? Thanks

Been wanting a stick lately that's at least in the ballpark of the quality of my Fulcrum One yoke. Yeah, there's Virpil/etc but never really got excited enough about them to pull the trigger. Then I stumbled across the Winwing Orion 2, which from all appearances is a pretty slick bit of kit. Reviews seem to be quite positive, but then you can't trust online reviews anymore. Anyone here messed with any of this company's hardware? $500-ish for the stick and dual throttle seems quite reasonable if the quality is as good as it appears to be.
