Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Just spotted on the AT Simulations website that as well as the Saab Safir they have started working to bring their Cessna O-1 Birddog and Max Holste MH1521 Broussard over to MSFS as well With the T-28 Trojan for MSFS confirmed by Ant's Airplanes things are looking extremely good for post war trainer and observation aircraft.

I'm back with yet another long-winded post! As I couldn't find a thread discussing various aspects of operating the Fenix (and didn't feel like necroing an old thread), I decided to start a new one. I'd like to see a discussion among Fenix enthusiasts with advice, interesting tidbits, experience of handling the aircraft etc. Input from real world Airbus pilots will of course as always be a huge bonus, but there are also some very skilled and knowledgeable simmers out there! Great, closer to its real performance with this mod, in MSFS is wrongly with lower power than the real aircraft and never was solved. I was using one old from other mod and less perfect to match the 1.8 Mach. Really thanks. MSFS needs give more love to the F-18 and improve it in all aspects. There have been many times over the last few years where I've been bowled over by the absolute quality I'm seeing on my screen, I try not to take it for granted because it has become the norm but are there any moments you experience when on a flight that make you sit back and appreciate what you're seeing? For me - 1. When on a night flight at 36'000 feet and I'm banking over a coastline, seeing the moonlight scatter out across the sea below me with all the "slicks" in the water! 2. European Cities 2 So far, I've only had time to explore Nice and Monaco but they both look great and the entire coastline from Nice to Menton is now rendered in glorious photogrammetry. I have some freeware photogrammetry and a few freeware and payware airports along the southern French coast, making it a nice area to fly and have been able to delete the freeware I had for Nice and Monaco, both of which had served me well until now. I still have Barcelona, Madrid and Porto to explore later today but I'm sure they will be lovely too. I've just purchased LGSR (29 Palms) a fantastic scenery. I've used the Contrail app to download the GSX profile. Unfortunately, once again, GSX has made chaos out of a brilliantly designed scenery. Gates should be walk in (and it even says that in the GSX menu. However GSX insists on calling buses to deboard passengers. Not only that but the buses are more like mini-vans, not proper coaches, Great scenery unfortunately ruined by GSX.

Since SU15 I am missing the PFD display with the Asobo C172 G1000, really with the normal wheels variant, only. It is all ok with the C172 floats and skis and all other G1000 aircrafts. I am on 1.37.18.0, have default liveries installed only, no mods active, MFD is fine. What to check/modify to get this PFD display back? Ernst

Hi all, I was flying the BS duke last night in cruise when suddenly the autopilot came off and the aircraft spiralled out of control into the ground. I hadn't touched anything and i didn't have any control to get out of the spin. This has only ever happened once before with the a2a comamche. Can anyone shed some light on what the cause may be? I'm using the honeycomb yoke and live weather. Thanks.

Unfortunately with this SU15, there are intermittent issues with the validation of the PMDG 737 or DC6 resulting in a frozen cockpit, switches, blank crt, etc, unusable. To note that none of my other products have suffered from this issue, and I did not experience it with the MD88 or the Fenix. Used the sim several times today - I was experimenting with DX11 / DX12 and different controller devices. The sim ran perfectly and went to a normal completion each time I started and stopped it.. NOW - when I started the sim (Steam) again - Installation Manager demands I download 96.46 GB and is storing on Drive C despite my sim installation being on Drive I. The download is all the normal package stuff - microsoft-a320neo-1.0.17.fspackage.001 and so on .... Hello Could anyone using the MFG Crosswind (V2) Pedals share their Sensitivity Settings in MSFS and in the MFG Config Utility? I mainly use my Crosswind Pedals with the Fenix A320 and I find it to be extremely sensitive (Rudder + Breaks). I have already reverted the Settings in the MFG Config Tool to Stock Default and tried various sensitivity Settings in MSFS, however as of now to no success. Thank you!

There are som really strange anomalies in the city with the latest city update and ORBX ESSB. But I think it would be a simple update of the airport to fix it.

Does MSFS_AutoFPS works also with SU15?

Since the release of MSFS i noticed that the density of trees was a bit overdone in the area where i live. Since it's a urban area and building seem to have a priority over trees, it didn't look that bad, just a bit too much. Earlier this week i came back from a trip to Iceland and decided to fly around a bit over there. Much to my amazement, Kevlavik airport was covered with trees while in real life there isn't a tree in sight, it's as good as a barren wasteland. For me it was a all of sudden a big mock-up. The so called super reality MSFS always bragged about received i big beating. GA flying in MSFS will never be the same. Real life: MSFS:

Hi, As per the title, I am generally unable to start MSFS at the first attempt. Sometimes it crashes at the white screen, but it usually gets past the blackshark.ai screen and crashes on the copyright screen. I tried every variation I can think of including emptying the community folder. Eventually (after over 10 attempts) it finally runs and runs well. I can then repeatedly restart MSFS and it starts up straightaway. The next restart of my PC, I'm back to square 1 again. I've not added any new peripherals or aircraft recently so I'm at a loss. May I ask if anyone else has had this issue and fixed it? Best regards, Peter

After having done a quick test with a take-off from the 7R of KLAX (IniBuilds scenario) I was happy to find, in addition to an increase of 3/5 fps, above all the disappearance of the stutters, I decided to do a short test flight from KLAS to the 25R of KLAX done many times. All good at KLAS with fps between 40/45 and without stutter. After MSFS 2020 Update 15, I am unable to select OPTIONS or PROFILE in the Sim by clicking on them. I bought a high spec pc a few weeks ago, and it was working fine until this update. Although I have been enjoying Flightsimming since my retirement 26years ago, I'm afraid I dont have tech skills, and I am at a loss to know what to do to resolve the issue.
