MFG Crosswind (V2) Settings

Featured Replies

Hello

Could anyone using the MFG Crosswind (V2) Pedals share their Sensitivity Settings in MSFS and in the MFG Config Utility? I mainly use my Crosswind Pedals with the Fenix A320 and I find it to be extremely sensitive (Rudder + Breaks). I have already reverted the Settings in the MFG Config Tool to Stock Default and tried various sensitivity Settings in MSFS, however as of now to no success.

Thank you!

I'm running v3 pedals and never installed the MFG Config software. I'll check my settings in SIM later on but don't use the Fenix, I'm typically just flying smaller, GA aircraft.

Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.

Same here (v2), didn't install the MFG Config Software. Not really needed.

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base & hegykc MFG Crosswind modded pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S for VR

For most aircraft I use 80% sensitivity in the rudder axis curve (slow initial response increased later) which really helps. You get less nose wheel turning on the ground too which helps. Not much help sorry!

I'm not going to be able to help much here. I have everything at default except a 4% deadzone on the Z axis in the sim controller settings.

For what it's worth, I have the crosswind pedals and was trying to make an adjustment to the center point.  No matter what I did in Windows or the sim wouldn't fix it.  It took a minute of fiddling with the software (mostly to figure out how to make it do what I was trying to do) and everything was fine after.  I met communicated with the creator of these and he told me not to use windows or the sim to make adjustments (I don't know why I needed to use the software and didn't follow the advice until I started having some issues).

Does the MFG software have the option for adjusting curves?

Reason I ask is that I have a Virpil pedals and could never quite get the rudder to my liking with just the MSFS settings. I ended up putting an "S" Curve into the Vipril software and now have all the MSFS settings at default and I find it way better. I still think the ground handling has room for improvement though, maybe this will get better in MSFS 2024
