Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

When I press ALT-F3 to activate the NVidia Game Filter, if does not let me adjust the Brightness/Contrast filter. I can adjust either gamma 100% or 0% (for example) and it makes no difference to the image. What am I doing wrong? or what am I missing?

I have been trying repeatedly to get SU15 installed after it locked up and threw an error message at 20% download point. In addition, even though I am on a very fast network with download speeds RIGHT NOW in the range of 400, the download should not crawl along at speeds below 1mbps ... I am presuming the servers at Microsoft are overloaded. Surely Microsoft knows how many users are going to be locked out of their simulators and unable to use them until the update is installed - they have their sales records, after all. Just wanted to give people a head's up, the same guy who made the G1000 nxi for the king air 350 has created a Pro Line 21 mod. It's more realistic because older 350i's use the collins pro line 21 Note that you must first disable the G1000 mod if you're using it, and some 3rd party liveries won't work so I suggest using the default livery for now. https://flightsim.to/file/74962/king-air-350-pro-line-21-mod

has someone tweaked the sound settings a bit? right now when in drone view I hear GSX people walking through the jetway, and AI aircraft to load in my Fenix cockpit. Tried already a variate of options, but with dimming something down you loose something else....

After SU15 I find that Bagolu mods for C172 and Boris Audio Works crashes the sim at exit the plane. Has anyone else noticed it?

I am suddenly seeing dual windsocks everywhere. At one of my payware airports, I also see dual radar towers. Anybody know a fix ? thx, John

Anyone having camera issues after SU15? Sometimes they are fine, but right now flying the Fenix for example and even the basic camera commands are acting goofy. I hit the "End" button which should move from cockpit to outide and instead it does something else, the default Ctrl-space bar should bring the camera back to the default view and it doesn't, it shoots me off into space...

Hi guys, I did a flight yesterday with the A310 and do not see the update what come with SU15 ? What have they updated ? Still a bad flight-model file, the plane overshoots the restricted 250 speed under 10000 feet and goes to 280 and it takes until you reach 8000 to 9000 feet, than it slowly settles backward. And still the wobbling at Flight alt is there, jumping forward and backward continuing the whole flight.. They should give inibuilds another go to fix things out, paying them some money to do that because they now could use all the fixed stuff from the A300 what is not bad at this stage and would make the A310 same standard as the A300 is. Been doing some test recordings that happen to coincide with SU15 release. Yesterday at the end of a fun and smooth flight had pretty much sim implosion on final. I wonder if devs regularly skim this forum and see if they can see potential markets... With the release of the phenomenal SU15, I wonder if we can see T-2 Buckeye in MSFS2020. IMHO, RAZBAM did a great job back then. Razbam's T-2, Ant's T-28 Trojan, and T-38 Talon by Milviz were arguably the best trainers in FSX. (I tried to like the free IFE T-45 but failed miserably)

I am definitely a casual simmer. Been using FS since 19985. I'm struggling in '2020 with keystrokes not working. I establish a key combination, save it, but then it doesn't function. Also having problems with established keystrokes not working. For instance, Scroll Lock does not take me back to menu. I can fly a 12 million dollar business jet but this is eating my lunch. Using premier version.

Just finished downloading a 20gb update. Did a short flight in Naples, very smooth.

Is anyone experiencing significant pitch oscillations with the BS Grand Duke? I loaded it up to almost max takeoff weight and worked my way up to 17,000 feet but once the ALT mode took over and captured the altitude, I'm getting fairly significant rapid pitch deviations plus/minus 200 FPM. It is holding the altitude well but the pitch is all over the place. If I switch to ATT mode the oscillations go away. I'm using ASFS if that makes a difference, I also close ASFS and it made no difference.

I've just downloaded the LVFR A321 with the FBW mod. I have the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant but I can't work out how to calibrate the detents with the LVFR A321? I've got the Fenix and the FBW and it's easy.

Just wondering what the fastest way is to reinstall FS2020. I saw some posts here in the forum recently that some folks talked about reinstalling FS2020 in such a way as if it took only very little time rather than the time it took me when FS2020 was first released. It took me about half a day. (Store version}. Just curious.

Is it my setup or has Asobo changed the effects of AI strobe lights? What I'm seeing now in the sim (especially in VR) is UFO looking blobs in the air that are supposed to be AI strobe lights but rather it's looking like something out of the X-Files.😶

I do not seem to be seeing any evidence of landing gear compression after touchdown in the PMDG 737-600. Is this supposed to be simulated? It seems to have this effect under braking, but the gear touchdowns themselves feel "flat".

...another 787 for the sim. Didn't see this mentioned anywhere. What are Bravo Airspace builds like?

I may be wrong but it seems loading time is significantly faster. Secondly, my GPU temp has been lower since the last beta build up to the official release. Is it?
