"SDK UPDATE We are still in the process of rolling out SDK access to all of our partners. If you’ve not yet received access, hang in there as we are working to get everyone added as quickly as possible. Currently, we’ve got over 30 partners with access to the SDK. The feedback has been incredibly beneficial to the team as we continue to work hard on upcoming features. In the next Alpha update, you can expect improvements for existing tools, a new in-game aircraft editor will allow configuration tuning for aircraft parameters including the flight model with onscreen debug support." The above lines are my area of interest in every update but the last statement…

No, I will not raise the issue of the SDK again 😇 but I found this recent video below quite interesting for all those who want to edit their scenery in Fs20 if Asobo allows for a minimum of compatibility with Blender. This is about how to create 3D terrain with Google or Bing maps, SRTM mesh and OSM data.

Has anyone read/seen about being able to use multiple view pc’s in a network like WidevieW does for FSX//P3D ? Thanks, Gerard

Watching backcountry videos, I see that some pilots set up a small transparent HUD on their glare shield indicating the AoA (like this one). It looks like a nifty addition for these fields where you have to land at very low speed over high trees on final approach. If Asobo doesn’t supply one, I hope they would for the Caravan for instance, here is an addon I’d be interested to get.

Could Microsoft/Asobo show the build number next to the picture. It would definitely help, when people are comparing new builds to the old build photo's. Just an idea.

I can't find the first Feedback Snapshot (V1?) anywhere, but didn't it look very much the same as the latest V#2.01FS? Looks like they still have the problems with 1'st install, Control mapping etc. I had hoped they had solved some of them, isn't that what Alpha all about, correcting flaws and issues in the game? It's not a critique, just an observation. OH how I wish we could see the Alpha forum, to know what the testers have discovered 🙂

No doubt Microsoft and Asobo have done outstanding work when it comes to the scenery. However, it would be too far-fetched to expect them to fully cover every city with the perfect 3D model of every building, perfect type of every tree in every neighborhood, perfectly edited airports in cities without photogrammetry data etc. I wonder if there will be some sort of a community gateway project like that of X-Plane to allow the passionate community to contribute to the 3D structures and various other models in the sim. Suppose I don't like the way a famous landmark is generated by the AI in my city. If I have knowledge of 3D modelling, I can create the structure and cont…

Hello All, Is there a chance we could see more cloud types, more cirrus and stratus types and differing layers of those types? Although the storm clouds in the latest video are really something else, Truly Amazing!!.... I’d like to see more cirrus, cirrus overcast(milky sunshine) rather than the puffy cumulus, partly cloudy sky we’ve seen so far. They are really beautiful and many of the videos and screenshots show those puffy scattered cumulus and thunderstorms, which are very important. But, could we please see other cloud types? Far off summer thunderheads, scattered cirrus, overcast cirrus (as mentioned -milky sky) mid-level, thick stratus overcast....t…

As an avid user of AI traffic addons, it would be really fantastic if we could have realistic airline gate assignments. I don't mean having one airline park at a specific terminal, because that is already available, but I mean having a specific flight departing from a specific terminal. For example, BA operates flights to Miami from Terminal 3 at LHR. Being able to configure that in the sim would be amazing.

Have the testers had the same build from the start or do they download from time to time a new build ? And, in the first scenario, how long would it reasonably last ? After several weeks, hasn’t Asobo collected everything they needed in terms of remarks ?

Hi! I noticed Marseille in France has photogrammetry but is not included in the 3d city list. Is anybody aware of any other cities or places? Thanks!

Of all the absolutely stellar aircraft I have seen in the pipeline for MS2020 ... there is just one hole ... there are no turbine aerobats. ;) There are options of every size and for every mission, and I plan to fly most of them. Yet ... there is no fire. There are no razor winged thorough-bred's, no wild and untamed machines from the forge of Vulcan, himself! I was literally about to buy the Hawk T1/A from JF (xplane) when MSFS2020 was announced. I looked around and found a beautiful T38A for FSX. Then I thought to myself: Cessna, themselves, have the new Scorpion, which conveniently carries a Garmin cockpit. Or maybe a civilian homebuilt like the Turbine Legen…

In his latest video, Stevo starts with how excited he is for MSFS and then flies off to pick up his new PC and at then end there's about 8 minutes of him at Jetline systems looking at PCs, sim accessories and flying a TBM on a PC

Asobo One "THING" I REALLY, REALLY want is a very realistic long range medium to large Biz Jet. I have been 'playing' MSFS since Flight Sim 98 and I have liked the Lear 45 but MUCH PREFER a long range medium to large very detailed business jet. I think a detailed Falcon 8X would be AWESOME!!! I just want to give Microsoft a high five here. I expressed some doubt awhile back if the airports would live up to expectations. I gave an example of my home airport (3MY, Peoria, IL), and sure enough they included a screen shot of this in their latest episode. The airport looks great, and I'm now convinced this will be the dominant platform for many years to come. Thanks MS for listening and responding to our posts, and putting my specific doubt to rest.😀

First a bit about myself. I am 49 and fly flightsims nearly all my life. It started with MSFS II and after that I flew mostly military flightsims, mostly Falcon 4.0. About 10 years ago I stopped with the hobby. Now that I saw Microsoft Flightsimulator 2020 is coming I want to come back to the hobby but I will move to civilian flightsimming with MSFS2020. Of course I am wondering what I should pick up first after the introduction. I want to focus on a specific detailed aircraft. That could be an Airbus 320, Boeing 737 or perhaps another commercial jet. At this moment I don’t know what will be on the market as add on planes and I don’t even know the differences between…

As many have said before, seeing the passengers should be a nice feature. I would like to go a little further... it would be interesting if the weight of each passenger ( randomly generated accordingly with company restrictions) was taken into account and boarding was done in real time. So the payload would be updated in real time, and the comparison between the calculated ZFW and the actual ZFW would be more realistic. Same for the refueling and the luggages ... Another remark : Didn't see anything in the Episod about Marshaller animation and Docking Guidance System ....

what classic airliner would you like to fly in MSFS, for me it would be the Boeing 737-200 and the Boeing 727-100/200.

One of the things I dislike the most with current flightsims are the visibility changes. For example you are at 20000ft and you can see everything clearly below and then as you descend below 5000-10000ft you are suddenly in foggy/low visibility conditions. The conditions are correct - it just did not show them until the plane flew low enough. Some addons improved this to a certain extent but the weather model in those sims only allowed a partial solution. Looking at the fs videos it's clear they have improved the "distant" weather. Rain shafts for example are visible in the distance. It would be great if they have done something with visibility so the changes ar…
