February 23, 20206 yr Has anyone read/seen about being able to use multiple view pc’s in a network like WidevieW does for FSX//P3D ? Thanks, Gerard In the Cockpits Episode 4 they spoke about home cockpits (they have been building one for themselves) and that multiple screens are supported. Nothing specifically about multiple view computers in a network though as far as I am aware.
February 23, 20206 yr Nobody has said anything about multiple PC's. Remember that, at the moment, it's an alpha test, so the full features are far from being released. Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...

If they are gearing up for home cockpits, which we know they are , then multiple screens will almost certainly be part of it. Home cockpits, if done properly, require multiple screens.

But in the case of real size home cockpits who are using multiple view pc’s in a network a WidevieW like feature would be very welcome. February 27, 20206 yr About networked computers, I hope that Asobo implements another type of networking : connecting tablets including iPads to the computer running the sim, to display some gauges, MCU or datapad. I agree. I always use my Tablet and "Virtual CDU" for entering data to the FMC of the PMDG (P3D), that's great.
March 1, 20206 yr Multiview PC networking is definitely something I would like to see native to FS2020. I would also love for them to fix or have a feature to minimize the parallax problem we see when using multiple projectors in full cockpit setups.
March 4, 20206 yr Author Good news : WidevieW will be made compatible if there is good support for 3rd party developers. ( I have been in contact with Luciano ) And as Prosim will be made compatible too I can use MSFS like I do now use P3Dv4 with my full size cockpit .. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I hope they offer support similar to XP11, it's so easy a baby could set it up!

I do hope we will be able to sync outside views, AI/airport traffic, as well as weather to networked PCs.
March 5, 20206 yr Author No issues with Widetraffic here. Just tried it a few times and it worked great. I use PSXT + RT and have that combo installed on my server and on my client pc. Weather program is FSGRW which syncs weather + clouds on a networked config. Using WidevieW for that costs to many FPS. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
