So this is something that probably won't make it in for the release version but maybe as part of a future radio wish? I follow Matt Guthmiller and came across this interesting scene below. Wouldn't it be cool if Flight Simulator Radio / ATC had inconsistencies programmed in that could have random radio static, frequency issues, and the like? Yet another way to add to the immersion and dangers/challenges of flight.

I still didnt get invited so at least i would like to share my wish :D i would love to see a screenshot from this approach in next updates. There is cliff, a waterfall, buildings and in the end runway 36C. Its like perfect combination of what this new flight sim is capable to provide . Hello to all lucky Alpha-testers! Can I ask you to visit and post shots of the Italian Alps around Mont Blanc? I am particularly interested in the new rendering of the area around the ski resort Courmayeur. Take it as a challenge, and a way to test the new sim! Cheers!

I was playing GTA V, and I noticed a really cool effect, the lights flickering/blinking at a certain distante (that effect caused by the difference of atmosphere temperature, air turbulence and thermals...). So I always thought that could be a nice effect to be implemented on a sim. It's not a "no buy" feature, just something that could add some kind of realism. What do you think? I found a video similar about what I'm talking about

Sorry if this was mentioned already but the debate about the Bing consistency / update as well as the trees size made it to Asobo's board.

Could you help interpreting the Feedback Snapshot - Top wish List sheet (ATC and AI traffic particularly) Is this the alpha testers' or general sim public wish list? If it is alpha testers' wish list, why is it that ATC and traffic requests are ignored as these features keep regularly appearing high on the list and never get cleared? If it is general sim public wish list they keep appearing on the list because MS/ASobo are not open enough about their implementation. Otherwise scenery, weather and aerodynamics would also be on the wish list were it not for the Discovery series videos of the aforementioned My question is - What is so special about these fea…

At the FS Nordic Conference 2020 Mathijs Kok of Aerosoft was interviewed, and, among other things they talked about, he mentioned that they are 'excited' about the new sim (interview) and that they will not simply port the Airbus 330 and the CRJ but want to use the new features of the new sim. Also, they want to implement the Twin Otter for the new sim.

In my opinion MS/Asobo should provide paintkits for A320/B747, so that all those eager artists who wait for the sim release could work in the meantime and provide tens of different liveries for the day Zero...

hi everybody In Xplane, and before in FSX or FS9, I connect google earth with FSUIPC and a little program called MyFSGoogleEarth. This is an old program but it works great. It sends your coordinates in GE so GE tracks your flight in real time. But you will tell me, why bother with this kind of program since nowadays we have ortho4xp, and soon FS2020 will bring us new level of realism? The reponse is simple: in google earth you have plenty of informations on the flown area, in real time, like cities name, wikipedia references etc... But what I like the most is the photos: It's really great... when I fly, and I see something interes…

Ever since I got into VR I've been a Google Maps junkie going all around the world checking things out. I always wanted a flightsim that could stream those images as we fly so MSFS2020 is heaven sent in that aspect. What I do wonder is the following, are Asobo using the same imagery as regular Bing Maps? I've seen that there are very grainy textures on some of the alpha screenshots and I see it's all because of Bing. Check out these images of google earth vs bing at Downtown L.A. Google is so so much better and the program in VR works flawlessly on olderhardware. Seriously hoping we have something better than Bing regular. Thoughts?

So far Asobo have been doing an amazing job on scenery, buildings and airports. I wonder what there plans are for road traffic. I think it's one of the important parts of having it feel like a living breathable world. From many screenshots it looks like there's a fair amount of cars baked into the road and ground textures and very few moving cars on the road. I assume this is all a work in progress. Obviously we don't expect Project Cars 2 type driving physics, as that would be way to taxing on the cpu. But it would be nice to see cars drive around with some form of acceleration and collision detection amongst other cars. One thing Xplane does well (…
