Hello, since building my new system I’ve seen that my CPU utilization is generally 30%-40%, GPU is low 50%, Ram is low 50%. I observed this last night while FPS was high 50’s low 60’s. I’m perfectly happy with my performance, and this is more curiosity than anything, but what is limiting me based on this information? Neither the GPU or CPU seem the be getting intensely used or at least used in any way that approaches a bottleneck, so what keeping them from being pushed harder and then (I assume) having my FPS increase further? Hi folks. Is anyone else having running FS 2020 on a computer without a dedicated graphics card with Video RAM, as Microsoft recommends? If so, have you experienced issues with extremely long load times and extreme lag on the home screen? I'm trying to narrow down the possible culprits for these symptoms, so that I can rectify them and get flying ASAP. My computer meets all of the recommended specifications except for having a separate graphics card and Video RAM. Thanks in advance for the help!

Boy, they are taking their time to get off active runway. It's especially noticeable in busy airpots! Yesterday I was landing in KSFO and witnessed AI airplane literally crawling on runway 28L skipping one exit after another. And forcing ATC to issue "go around" to several aircraft AI!

My 152 low on gas during my Nile tour (Asobo really need to address fuel consumption on the GA aircraft), I identified an airfield from the pop up map, vectored across and landed. Got a parking spot from ground and made my way over. Called up services and requested fuel, expecting my tank just to magically refill. Instead, I got a message that a fuel truck was on its way. After a minute or two, sure enough came into sight a tanker lorry which eventually stopped alongside. Admittedly at that point the pop up window appeared, no guy actually connecting a hose to the plane but, hey ho. Once complete, dismissed the truck and got a take off slot from ground, taxied out to the …

This is great news, we are now soon to see liveries for the 787 and hopefully all the other premium planes in the sim! 🙂

I noticed the other day that part of Portland, ME is missing trees completely. There are a few autogen buildings, but at a certain point all of the scenery just stops (including road vehicles) in a straight line along the ground. The missing scenery seems to extend all the way up to Augusta (possibly further). Augusta itself has photogrammetry, but it isn’t processed so the trees look like squarish blobs everywhere. is anyone else seeing this, or is my cache perhaps corrupted?

Hi all, Like many I was eagerly waiting to see what performance I get on my ageing hardware, mid range I would say. The results have been good and bad! Going from i7 4970k 4.4Ghz, 16GB 2100 Mhz, GTX 1070, installed on HDD (don't know specs) running at 1920 x 1080 Med - High settings (custom) Currently I'm getting above 40 in non urban areas however in built up cities particularly on approach its quite stuttery and the FPS fluctuates a lot into low numbers especially when I am changing views. Not a great experience. to i7 10700k, 32 GB 3200 Mhz to 2070 Super installed on Samsung 970 EVO SSD 1TB - I would hope to run this rig in High with +30 FPS …

Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but using the Honeycomb Yoke, and the flight realism set to Legacy, I found both Cessna jets and the King Air completely uncontrollable around the roll access. They were allover to place without any input from me. Switched it over to Modern and the problem was corrected. I'm not sure what the difference is but if anyone else is fighting to control those planes, try changing the realism setting.

I hate to add to the negativity of this release, as I still believe this is the next flight sim for many years to come (when the addons arrive, and the bugs have been fixed). However Im not really impressed by photogrammetry, with a 100mbps internet and ultra setting. Even close to the airport (4nm, 1400ft) the buildings between me and the runway, just look quite bad, black and spiky/blocky. Hoping this gets fixed. (Airport EKCH, and photogrammetry of Copenhagen) (Also whats up with the non-existing option to preset a visibility? Making IFR practice close to impossible)

I see a lot of jagged lines (jaggies, whatever you want to call them) even with everything set to ultra. I'm running a 1080ti on a 3440x1440 monitor. Anyone have this and fix it?

Is it just my eyes getting old... or is the text in most cockpit displays really, really tiny and hard to read? On my 40" television, if I run MSFS at 4K, I can read it decently well... but I can't imagine how small it must look on more standard-sized monitors. Unfortunately, to preserve frame rates, I'm restricted to 1080p right now (my GTX1070 is due for an upgrade), and a lot of the labels and indications can get pretty blurry and smudged unless I zoom in really close. How is it for everybody else? Should we be calling it Microsoft Flight Simulator 20/20 ?

They are really forced and just to much because they are not wind direction/strength dependent. Completely ruins small islands.

Is anyone else finding blue squares popping in and out in Orkney, and mauve areas moving along with the aircraft on the Isle of Man? (This was happening both before and after the patch.)

There’s something I’m curious about, but I can’t test myself yet. I’m waiting for the new nVidia 3000 series boards to reach the market, and who knows the new 4000 series AMD processors will come soon too. I understand that the mouse can be used, with a right click to move the camera, or the drone, around. I have my joystick in my right hand … to operate the camera with the mouse I’d have to let go of the stick. What I like to accomplish is to use joystick with 5 or 6 degrees of freedom which I plan to build myself for camera control. I heard that it is possible to use an Xbox controller to move the camera. My question is if it’s also possible to select ano…

I have been seeing by you tuve ,videos about A320 FS2020 and I heard a voice that count the meters remain of runway, someone could tell me how to activate this voices, I heard pull up 100, 50. 40, ... 10, retard retard, but not the meters remain. Thank you Octavio Argentina

Hi, Can somebody direct me to how to edit aircraft.cfg like it was in FSX or P3D please? I can't find any aircraft location in particular any aircraft.cfg, I would like to go into [flight tuning] section and adjust like elevator(rudder aileron)_effectiveness variables. Noticed that my CPU is pegged at 100% across all four cores. Temps around 52C. Others seeing the same? BTW, is there an in game FPS display? I know I can use externals like Riva, etc. Vic

Does anyone know how you get the 747/787 to display arrows on the PFD once you have tuned the radios? I find I'm just flying blind when trying to navigate.

When I first applied this update it seemed to really help with the stutters. Now 10 hours later I'm right back to where I was before the patch. I'm not convinced now this patch did anything. Guess time will tell.

Installed MSFS2020 and I get to the screen with Welcome, Profile, Marketplace, Options, etc across the top of the screen, but nothing happens when I click on options. Does it take quite a few minutes for something to load perhaps? EDIT: Hmm... now seems nothing really happens when I click on Welcome, Profile, or Marketplace either. Appreciate any ideas. Al
