Anyone else notice they are useless? They just don't work!

Sorry, can't find the link to it anywhere. Can some kind soul please point me in the direction of the fix that allows dimming of the Garmins at night in the TBM in order to preserve night vision. Thanks in advance.

I can get the AITrack and OpenTrack to work very well, but my issue is with getting it to coordinate with MSFS. I am using the same Profile as the video, but no connection. What am I missing? I'm using a number of saved cameras within the cockpit, and each time I select a camera it "pans" to what I selected. It's a feature I normally turned off in Ezdok, but does anyone know if there's a way to deactivate the pan within MSFS?

Hi All, Is anybody having issues with the game detecting controllers ? I have a Saitek Pro flight yoke, pedals and throttle and none of it is detected. I have also tried to plug in a MS sidewinder FF 2 joystick and it wont even recognise that. All it see's is my keyboard and mouse. Thnx

Chock me old mukah. Did you say in your instructional video that Woodford Aerodrome is no more? But has the Avro Museum there? The brother in law was the crew chief on the Nimrod that went down over Afghanistan in 2006. Built at Woodford. I watched Concorde (as a kid in 1975) fly around there (Woodford/Ringway) during an air show (I was on our council estate in Macc, but had a great free view of all the aircraft flying about). Did not realise (until recently) that Avro built their aeroplanes at Woodford.

Every takeoff since the update, requires full aft elevator (as in I hit the stop on my Honeycomb alpha) just to get 5-10 degrees pitch up on takeoff. Also, 30-40 degrees of bank from minor turbulence with extremely delayed roll inputs making it almost impossible to correct. On landing, so much aft trim is required to keep the controls roughly centered, the trim wheel hits the rear stop. Also stalled at about 120Kts, when prior, it didn't want to touch down below 90. Same roll response as above too. I've checked the control settings, nothing has changed from prior to the update. Also checked weight & balance, and couldn't see anything glaring. Is this h…

Anyone found a fix for the CohorentGTDraw stutter? Not fixed in patch?

Today I was finally able to install MSFS2020. After loading DVDs for over 4 hours, the application installed correctly, updated and then opened to the selection screen. When I hit the "WORLD MAP" option I can select a free flight, but unfortunately only the Cessna and a turboprop can be selected for my first free flight. As I am a proficient B737 sim pilot, I rather try either the A320 or the 747 for a free flight. However, the "airliner" selection option is greyed out. As per the manual that comes with the disks I should be able to select from a list. In my case there is no such list, as said, only two aircraft (props) are available. So I saw that Live Multiplayer forces you to the current time/weather, but I also noticed it leaves "Live Traffic" enabled (tried multiplayer for the first time last night). So does this mean the sim is mixing actual players with actual live air traffic? I saw some stuff that of course was obviously other players, but some I wasn't sure if it was player naming their username/planes specifically for stuff like Vatsim or just more "realistic" naming for flying, or if it was a live traffic flight.

Planes don't take off In the last flights, I was in the header checking radio navigation frequencies, then I disconnected the parking brake, applied power and the plane stayed still, the speed began to increase but the aircraft did not move an inch, the high speed alarm sounded , and I do not take off. I had to reset the Simulator and it can take off. All that takes a long time, it happens to all the planes that I have tested A320, TBM, Cirrus, Citation. I wait on the runway for a few minutes, it won't let me take off, but the speedometer does move, but not the plane. Does anyone know how to fix this or what is happening. Thank you Octavio

Hi all. I am brand new here and brand new to sims, so please be gentle! I’ve just started playing MFS 2020 through the $1 Xbox game pass trial. I love it and will likely fork out for the Premium Deluxe version. Question I have - I’m pulling my hair out deciding whether to purchase from Steam or Microsoft. Are there any advantages to either? I feel I’m in over my head. I heard that the Steam version allows you to tweak graphics settings in the Nvidia control panel in ways that you can’t in the Microsoft version, is this true? I want to get past this first “simple” step and just buy the game but would be great to know the advantages of both in layman’s…

So when I run the FPS tool built into the game I get a red box (mainly red anyway) that says "Limited by" and then either says CPU or GPU, but the font is so bad that I can't really tell which one it is. I'm assuming this is telling me which one of the two is my main bottleneck and since I'm running a GTX-1070, I'm assuming it says GPU, plus the CPU on resource monitor, never seems to go over 30% (which makes me wonder if there are other settings I can increase that are CPU-dependent that won't hurt the fps). I'll be upgrading to a 3070 once those are plentiful, but for now I just would like to be sure I'm reading this right. Any ideas?

Has anyone noticed any improvements in the frequency of live traffic either since the server maintenance or the patch? Today is the first time i've taken a real look and I have my first traffic jam at KSAN. This is from just loading up at the airport and waiting 5-10 minutes.

Release version: UTC time was correct and also the offset to my own local time was right on the spot. After the patch, the sims UTC time runs 9 hours and 14 minutes behind the real UTC time. Even more, where my local time runs 2 hours in front of UTC, my local time in the sim after the patch is now the same as the UTC time. Any cure for this? (my Windows 10 time is correct and 2 hours in advance of UTC like it should be).

When on the ground with parkbrake on, apply full throttle on the cessna and watch the aircraft shake because of the propwash winds. Thats awsome. Xp11 dont have those physics. I tested both. Flightmodel in my opinion is also better then xp11, specialy on the cessna's.

I'm getting a new PC tomorrow and currently run FS2020 on a separate SSD. To avoid another lengthy download, does anyone know If it would be possible to put the SSD in the new PC and reconfigure and run it?

I am at that point in my Cannibal Queen flight where the author gives someone a ride from Petaluma to the Golden Gate bridge. He had previously given rides to people going out to Point Reyes. I've got my Golden Age Simulations Super Stearman with my Cannibal Queen paint job and considerable custom engine programming to match what is described in the book about as good as I can get it in MSFS, and made the flight. Few clouds weather theme rather than real world weather. This was a sightseeing flight after all. 🙂 I flew out to Point Reyes, then turned toward the Golden Gate bridge. Morning / Afternoon. I planned a flight last night from Paris to London, just a quick 40 minutes I thought before I went to bed. After 3 attempts to get the A320 to the runway I finally got airborne. I expereinced a number off issues with the ground. Most of these were dips and ramps in the ground. And with the Crash detection on in the SIm it basically ended my flight. At one point I was taxiing to the runway 26L and the pavement ahead looked flat, but as the aircraft went over a section it was almost like going over a small hill. This then damaged the gear. Anyone else had this issue with other airports? Mike
