I've said in a couple of other posts that I fixed my PC crashes by manually setting virtual memory in Windows to effectively double my 16GB RAM. This was true, because when I first tried to fly in New York, I couldn't get near Manhattan without the sim stuttering and crashing out. Increasing virtual memory did indeed fix both stuttering and crashes, and I made numerous flights without issue since. Until Friday, when I tried a live weather nighttime flight in NYC for the first time. It was stuttering quite a lot, and got worse as I lowered the altitude. Then it crashed out. A note about graphics resolution on MSFS: I use the 1920x1080 resolution sim in a 4K monitor. Unlike Xplane11, the resolution of the cockpit graphics is much worse; especially the display of the G1000 is graphically not very resolute and the pixels are very visible. Is there any way to improve the G1000’s graphics display at 1920x1080 resolution on a 4K screen like XP11? Regards Stefano

Hello all, After the update I was finally able to install and launch the sim. However, I can set up a flight or just pick the 787 and a departure airfield, and when I press " fly " nothing happens... But, when I sellect the courchevel challenge it does react when I press play and actually starts...I don't get it. I updated everything. Am I missing something ? Greetings !

I remember reading somewhere that MSFS only allowed the original purchaser to use it under their profile. This is not true. I have a Windows 10 Pro computer with multiple local user accounts for other family members. I bought the Steam version of MSFS and installed to E:\Games\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR\ To set up another family member, I logged onto their local user account and had Steam place a shortcut for it on their desktop. Is anyone else finding blue squares popping in and out in Orkney, and mauve areas moving along with the aircraft on the Isle of Man? (This was happening both before and after the patch.)

We need lots more data refs. That is the ability to change settings and feedback from instruments for cockpit builders. Personally I like using rotary encoders and custom built switch panels to represent AP and Garmin avionics. Hopefully this will come in time. I understand that AirManager will be v4.x soon and it will handle a lot of these tasks. I just wanted to point this out. It is really nice if you can just have a list right in the "controls panel" so commands can easily be assigned in joystick settings. Salut, In the store I wanted to buy the C182, I validated download and pay and it shows me that it is pending. On Microsoft store, however, I have my PayPal payment validated. I went to the store and there is no info on my shopping cart. My MSFS is steam: I went to see if the C182 was not offered for sale but I saw nothing.

I've since I installed the sim went into options/data and disabled multiplayer and for the most part live weather worked. It was always depicted in one form or another... Today though I wanted to see what multiplayer was like flying into Hurricane Laura. So I went into options/data/ and enabled multiplayer.. The 3rd party developers seem to be torn between the Devil and the Deep. Rushing models out to stay in the game to keep customers happy and produce stuff that is obviously a port over with mods. Or wait until they learn the new processes that they are going to have to learn to develop 2020 standard models. Those who still wish to be port over kings will soon be left by the roadside. New developers will start arriving to 2020 and bring with them better standards than what we saw in X-Plane/P3D. FSX/P3d Dev's have had it to themselves far to long and been a bit over priced compared to X-Plane because there was no competition, that is about to change. …

Anyone else think that local ATC accent would be nice ? Currently flying in south america and would be cool to hear a local hispanic accent ATC and not the usual american accent we always hear where ever we fly. How hard it would be to program them ? There is already localized text-to-speech services by google, but Microsoft being America centric I doubt we will ever hear local ATC accents. I am not going into VATSIM, just thought that it would be neat in 2020 to have multiple different ATC voices, not just the one speaking with american accent.

Hi guys. Sometimes my Fs20 turns off alone when im using the Garmin 1000 or mcdu. Yesterday, 30 minutes flying and when I’m using g1000, I selected approach and the sim close to desktop. It’s not the first time this happens. Just happens to me or someone else has the same problem? Thanks.

Wow For a day 17 release this Sim is doing some awesome Stuff.!!!!! They are working faster / better than the Teams did on FSX / X-plane and pd3. Can't want for them to start working on the flight dynamics. And with Asobo hiring tons of new developers this coming year is looking BRIGHT!!

So anyone else think that maybe some of these guys that got the SDK early and that have had this SDK for over a year, cough cough A2A. Might have something for us by the Holidays ? hummmmm I sure hope !!!!

A couple of hours ago I checked the weather near Daytona Beach, FL and it showed heavy thunderstorms. However once I loaded up the aircraft, I had few clouds and no precipitations. I suspect the Live Weather isn't working? Any others has experienced any issue with Live weather? Thanks

Not a feature request or what you would like to see in the new sim, but what are the things that must be in there for you to consider it your primary sim? For me, I've moved to VR and my simpit is built around that so VR is a must. Being in VR, I use the GTN750 as the best way to change freq, pull up charts etc so having a GTN750 is a must have at some point. I will use the sim if it has VR but it wont be anything more than a sim to fool around in while XP and P3D maintain primary sim status. Next is PilotEdge. Real ATC is a must for me. I use and will look forward to default ATC with hopes of improvements to it but I like to use the sim for real world practice and P…

Hey folks, First of all, the TBM is my number one plane to fly at the moment. Really enjoyable! But i get the impression that the Autopilot is having a hard time centering on the Navtrack. Especially after turning from on point to the next it feels like it takes forever to be centered. I keeps oscillating left and right for almost 20 NM until it finally aligns correctly. Additional to that the AP is always too low on the glidepath. The only way for me to make him keep the right GS is to do a Flaps 1 approach with higher airspeed. Never had this before in the sim, not even yesterday after patching. Today, though, I am getting consistent half a second freeze every minute on the clock. The process that is on top of the cpu at that time is system idle processes. What can it be that causes this i wonder? I have my frames locked at 30 (rtss), and other than the 1 minute thing, it is rock solid fps. I have used the lasso method, just turned it off now, and it didnt help. I have disabled rolling cache a long time ago, and it is still off.

Anyway to make smaller finer trim adjustments? Especially the ailerons trim ? I constantly gently rolling right and even the small trim jumps to 0.5 and its too much.

Namely, that the xbox store has many great games. I recommend Gears of War 4 and 5 and the Metro series. A Plague Tale Innocence is also a great game.

Just wondering how detailed the new sim is. Can I calculate TAS to compare to book values with deviations from standard deg C at altitude? Or is everyday a standard day.
