The MFS Camera Control Unit I intended to build is ready (but for the knobs for the sliders that are in the making). The unit is built around an Arduino Leonardo. It's recognized by Windows as a HID controller. I hope MFS has the settings available to use a HID controller to control the camera and the drone. The idea is to control those with the left hand, while the right hand holds the stick to control the plane. The joystick is intended for Rx, Ry, Rz rotations. The sliders are meant for X,Y translation and Zoom. The 5 buttons are meant to switch between saved camera presets. Cost price of the unit is less than $20,- plus a couple of fun hours buildin…

I'm trying to decide if I should download MSFS now, or wait a few months until I build a new computer. I don't want to create licensing difficulties that I have to straighten out because of the new hardware. I plan to buy direct from the MS store. Despite MSFS being out for only a few weeks, has anyone tired moving the sim to new hardware? If so, how did it go? Can it just be a simple as uninstalling MSFS from the old computer and reinstalling on the new one? Thanks, Al

has any of you already found a live player map. I only see a map with live players when creating the flight. I would also be interested in whether you can also get live aircraft information displayed in the vfr map? (Playersname, Aircraft, Flight-Level,...)

Which is better? I thought the whole point of handcrafted was you didn't need to buy addons?

Does anybody know whether MSFS will install and start = load at all with below minimum specs? My HW upgrade is still ahead of me towards Q4 and I wonder whether I can already buy and run MSFS on my old HW w/ my i5-2550k, 16GB and a GTX 570 TI? I just know from other titles like Forza Horizon will install but not start, with only a hint that minimum specs are not met. And yes, I am aware that my rig will not run MSFS on ultra but willing to accept a massive decrease in fun and visuals prior to my pending HW upgrade

I confess I am not familiar with the Garmin LCD displays... I prefer analog instruments in the GA. when I set a VOR-DME frequency in the Garmin I can see the analog VOR Able to intercept the radial But I do not know where to read the DME distance. Thank you

I found this video which explains how to map wing views to your keyboard, it works perfectly, very similar to XP11 system. Here we go: I am wondering if these custom configs saved in the camera.cfg, if that is the case, we can share them easily. Anyway, enjoy

Hi all, A questino, also MP related.. I saw somewhere I think that people saw each others names while flying online, but how do you turn that on? I can use the Smartcam key easily to find my friend online, but somehow for him it doesn't work as well.. any tips? Cheers, Vic

Maybe I missed something or I am just tired but after the update, my sim still shows 1.7.12.1. Ran MSFS - said needed jupdate and sent me toMS Store - update downloaded, about 620mb and said installed. Reran MSFS2020 and under my account name it still shows 1.7.12.1 - is there any other way of verifying if the update took? Thanx, Vic

Interesting article in Flyer Magazine this month on Pierre Robin (who died this year) on his wonderful innovations and aircraft, two of which we have in the sim of course. Flyer magazine is a UK based GA magazine that I used to get in paper form but it's now gone completely digital and is free to download and read at your leisure. I just updated MSFS and hopped into the A320, but encountered 2 bugs: 1. I was taxiing and had to pause and pressed esc - when I resumed, everything seemed as if it were working, but I could no longer taxi (parking break was off, throttle was fine, but the airplane wouldn't move). 2. I set the transponder to the correct freq, but ATC said it was wrong. I reset it, but they still canceled my IFR flight plan. Any ideas? Should I submit a bug report?

Today afternoon I downloaded a betaversion and made a flight LSGG-EDDM and was amazed by the new properties. Even the AP has improved a lot. I had to land manually but most of the flight went seamlessly. I have experience from PSS A320, Blackbox A320, Aerosoft A320 and even FSL A320. Taken into account that it's just a bit more than 2 weeks since release the group are making a wonderful job compared to the Default. I sincerely hope that in a couple of months the community can deliver an Airbus of at least the same level than a couple of companies I referred to above. And it's free. Thank You community! Petteri

There is a way to type in a Custom GPS on the Map screen in the lefthand search bar and it will put a pin for your plane to fly to. however, when I start the flight the flight plan is not showing up. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Is there any way to downgrade Ultimate to Standard without canceling and re-subscribing? I have Ultimate but the XBox version of FS 2020 may not me out for several months, so I want to downgrade from Ultimate to Standard since I just use it for the FS 2020 PC version. Thanks !

Anyone who (Out there) who is a 3rd party dev out there who has succsesfully gotten a new aircraft to load and appear in MS2020? look at this horrible cessna in FS2020 ! .. Just a joking.. It took some editing of it's GLTF file but that was all .. it loads in the hanger and on runway and somewhat flys around..
