If I cancel my gamepass subscription, then buy the deluxe edition, will it download the entire game again, or just the, so to speak, "missing parts"?

Hi, Just tried to boot up MSFS (been playing it up until now) and get: Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001 Can someone explain how I can fix this? Thanks

Hello, Sorry I'm french so please forgive if my english is not perfect. I'd like to know if there is a way (probably in a config file) to modify the camera rotation speed in all views. I've bound the camera moves to my POV hat, both cockpit and external, but it's way too fast, making it very difficult to get the desired view. Thanks.

Just tried a short flight from KAUS to KDFW, Boeing 787 using the autopilot. They've got a lot of work to do getting that autopilot right. Won't hold LNAV at all. But other than that the scenery and everything is BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait till they get all the bugs worked out, this thing is going to be awesome, give it 6 months to a year.

So over at the official forum I see they have made some changes. One of these changes is that the community is able to vote on bugs. That means, of course, that avsim-members should make sure to visit the site often, list their bugs, and be diligent on voting on the most important things. Flying under bridges (bug: you cant) is many votes at the moment... On the TBM I discovered if you engage autopilot without heading or altitude controls on it engages in Pitch and Roll mode which is basically Control Wheel Steering. It trims and locks into the pitch and roll you are in at that instant. I mapped it to a button on my TWCS control. The CWS Button on the yoke works but I cannot get it to engage. Another thing If you have the Flight Director on it interacts with it for reasons I do not understand. I leave the FD off when I am using CWS Regards

Since i am on a low budget and all the cost involved in upgrading my PC, Plus new Joystick and the PC game , i might have cut back a little on the Graphics card which is one of the most important parts to playing the game I ended up buying the XFX AMD Radeon RX 570 (8GB) Graphics Card and to be honest, My first flights flying over lanzarote and its volcanos was giving me 30 FPS and since then my FPS is now averaging 15, I have the FPS set at 30 in the settings and followed a few tips on youtube. I am now thinking of upgrading the graphics card to the AMD Radeon RX 590, But thought i would ask the question on here for anyone running a low end graphics card…

Hi, I'm having a small problem during approach when using the default 787-model in FS2020. Yesterday I flew ENBR to ENGM using first the A320-model, and then the 787-model. For both flights I used the exact same route (high-altitude IFR with ILS approach to RW 19R). The A320-flight went perfect, and I was able to land safe and sound at ENGM. When flying the 787-model I did, however, run into a problem on final approach. After passing the last waypoint before the plane is supposed to align with the runway, the plane always ends up at a really bad angle, or sometimes even in a completely random direction. I tried multiple landings, but this happened ev…

This is something I experience with most of the glass cockpits but most so with the Cessna Citation. Now I don't know if my eyesight or screen are bad, but I find it very difficult to read the airspeed and altitude, the numbers are very small on the regular piloting view; I can zoom in to see the instruments better but then I hardly see outside. Anyone else who has the same experience?

Maybe this is a problem with icing in general? But I was flying at ~8k feet thru some light clouds and started to experience icing. Is that normal? Also is there anything in the aircraft to reduce ice on the windshields? What am I supposed to do in this situation. I mean, are we really supposed to completely avoid even light clouds at low levels like this, or is this a bug? But the biggest problem was I started losing speed and alt, but I have the icing setting to visual only. I tried flipping on the prop deice switch, but it didn’t seem to help (I assume the icing was on the wing leading edges). I basically have no idea what happened. Any ideas here?

Someone mentioned earlier that it's possible to adjust the refresh of the app so that it doesnt cause as much stutter. I'm not very proficient in LNM, so could someone please point me to this setting?

Hello MSFS flight simmers, two days ago I installed MSFS via the Xbox PC Game Pass on my Windows 1909 installation. The installation went without further problems and I could test the simulator for a couple of flights. Yesterday I updated my Windows machine to the current 2004 build. And now I feel left alone because the simulator is no longer working and its content is no longer recognized. The simulator urges me to download the content although the downloaded package (and the whole program installation) is already on the SSD: H:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2747420216-4247728082-1660942575-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Official\ It appears to be a neverending loop, th…

Even after putting the sensitivity down to the lowest in can go in the settings the plane still jerks violently up and down even with the slightest movement. Any advice would be appreciated.

Since my beginning with MSFS 5.1, US made aircraft have been a mainstay. So much so that with time I developed the habit of setting up a hangar with a trainer (152 or Tomahawk), a single engine four-place (a 172 or PA-28), a high performance complex (a Bonanza or Mooney), a twin (Baron or Seneca), a turboprop twin (almost always a King Air), a biz jet (Learjet or Citation) and then a single aisle (737) and a wide body (777, 747, etc.). It’s not until this version of the sim that I have really gotten an appreciation for the foreign airplanes. Especially the Diamond aircraft and the Daher TBM. I know all those types were available for all the prior versions, but …

Have twice contacted support at FltPlan.com inquiring about support for MSFS for their FltPlan Go apps for iPad and Android. The responses I get, not automated, provide a clear indication that the support staff is just not understanding what MSFS is. I was informed in one exchange that it should still work (I guess like FSX???) Has anyone given it a try with the app as the app is now? I am in the maintenance hanger waiting out a new system build.

I'm a guy flying the C152 today, but all the ATC responses were in a girl's voice. Is there a way to swap out a female pilot for a male? I searched everywhere but couldn't find it.

With MSFS not matching some airport taxiways (instead using procedural generating taxiway signs and designations), I've had to resort to using the Taxi Ribbon. Anyone else hate the bright blue implementation in MSFS and long for the semi-transparent yellow one from previous? Heck, I'd even be happy if there was just a button I could map to turn it on off (like you could through ATC in earlier versions)..
