Hey everyone. Just tried a flight in the caravan and was struggling to maintain any speed with it at all. Also half way though the flight the AP stopped working properly and the VS decent values stopped working . The AP in generally seemed to glitch out. Anyone had any issues with this plane?

  2. I always thought, with the level of fidelity that the Asobo aircraft models had, any issues with systems/technicalities could be fixed by the community if Asobo were finished developing them. Well, it seems that people are already going for it anyway 😛 Give this team some love, it's a new 'zibo' style project for the A320Neo (one of the many I will assume will eventually spawn) https://github.com/wpine215/msfs-a320neo It'll be interesting to watch it develop alongside Asobo's A20N, hopefully both will learn off each other!

  3. Hi all, my first post - so please be gentle! Got FS2020 up and running on Tuesday. Like everyone else experienced, it took forever to download and setup. Annoying that you can't turn the music off during that process, had to listen to it for 30 hours! At least that's just a one-off annoyance. My initial thoughts: 1. Takes a serious amount of time to actually launch and get to the point where you can fly. On my machine, 6 minutes between clicking the icon to being on the runway. Massive spec machine too, so not hardware problem. You can't jump in and have a "quick 10 minute fly" - it's a commitment. 2. Graphics and weather options, scenery, attention to…

One of the biggest feature that I was looking forward to in FS20 was the VFR/VOR type of flying, ok so no planes have a stack, fine let's look at the GNS. The 13 year old default GNS530 from FSX and P3D works better than the one in FS20. VOR's don't show up in the main screen, even at my lonely home airport I could get the Approaches with vectors, nothing in FS20. In other sims I was able to do a ->Direct to and select approaches, not available or possible in FS20. It's the same idea in the G1000, most of the data is missing specially at smaller airports. The GNS in other sims and 3rd parties have been out for at least 5 years, am I the only one that is disappointed in…

I am running a 9700K, 1080 card, 32 GB ram but I find that the game CTD after about 10-15 minutes of flight...I was wondering what did the trick if you previously had experienced this with seemingly adequate software. I have adjusted the Page File size as recommended by the team. Thanks for any suggestions.

Here are my computer specs: Intel Core i7-7700 @3.60GHz Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 48GB RAM LG 34" 2580x1080 Monitor 60Hz Spectrum 100-400 MBPS (Not exactly sure) My problem is I have only 1 prop driven airplane that I can use in the Ultra setting. The DA-62. I haven't tried using any jets yet. But for example when I get everything set up, and click ready to fly, the sim stutters so bad that the engine actually will stop and immediately restart and continues to do so. It is totally unusable. But the DA-62 works just fine. All of the prop airplanes that I have tried in the High End settings are fine. The recommended setting is "High End".…

Anyone else notice the ILS glideslope needle is very jerky in the Cessna 152? It moves like there are only a few preset positions the needle can be without in betweens. On the Diamond aircraft I get the same but with the localizer needle.

Getting quite used to the MSFS, I really like the C182. It flies very realistically, as well as it does in XP. No sim really mimics real flight as you need control feedback for that. I just flew London City to LFPG Paris, in actual WX. It was VFR but I flew it as an IFR auto pilot flight just to see how well the 182 would handle it. It was flawless. Including STAR and ILS down to 1000' all where I took over. The visuals are fantastic very much like Orbx TE, except they are of the whole planet and included in basic purchase. The clouds are great, very life like, and don't cause a loss of frame rate. The video below shows the last part of the flight, with loc…

Just as there is a group MOD doing wonderful improvements in the Airbus 320 Neo, I wish the 747 will be tackled next. Its badly needed. One thing that shouldnt be too difficult is change the cockpit light colors to a tome of red, and green in the FMC I have enclosed two photos of real night 747 cockpits compared to the third from MSFS2020 https://pin.it/6OJUe3a https://pin.it/5buuoHK https://pin.it/ir47eky

Today I was trying some freeware airplanes from FSX and noticed that in some planes the resolution of the gauges in external views was different. It would be interesting to reduce the size of these gauges because I think they are too big.Haven´t found anything in the aircraft folders, cfg files, etc… Does anybody knows if this could be done?

I saw a thread someone posted about this before the software was released. As usual, it turned into something of a pissing war. However, here's my observation and I'm asking you guys if y'all notice the same thing and if this is how flight simulator is programmed. I'm genuinely curious....this isn't an observation post about wether or not I like the sim. This is a post because if this ain't normal, I need help. If it is, I'm going on my merry way so I can continue flying. I was flying a flight in the tbm 930 from Palo Alto to San Diego. When I got to around 8000 to 9000 feet, I noticed my photogrammetry scenery starting dropping in detail and it looked like it w…

Anybody out there who like me bought the software in the 10 DVD set was perhaps surprised to find that once installed, the only way to progress to the selection of aircraft etc was to insert Disk 1 into your Optical Drive. I remember we used to have to use this procedure with a previous Flight Sim from Microsoft. However, it wasn’t long before someone came up with and ISO solution which worked perfectly and you no longer were required to insert Disk 1 into your drive. My question is, can the same procedure be used in MSFS 2020 and if so, what is the procedure.

Hi everyone, Can somebody please help/advise on this. I cannot get the default view to pilot view-ie middle of left screen. I have tried saving custom views using alt...1..2...keys no luck- The control/ space gives the half out of cockpit view. I have checked all controllers and even deleted some key bindings. Can you please advise how to set this view to give me pilots eye line. Many thanks in advance. Qas

Ok, its nothing new that even bigger airports seem to be missing, Stuttgart for example. Its there, but somehow not available on the map. Flying yesterday from EDDH to LIEA i encountered two Mayor Navigational aids were missing. DLE ADB in the Hanover vicinity and what amazed me even more the TRA Trasadingen VOR which is a Major intersection of the switzerlands airspace. Makes me wonder about the Nav database... Best

I have a gsync monitor, and Nvidia 2080ti’s. Is it necessary to have vsync on or off in the sim? tried to google, but nothing really helps me decide. I saw no difference on or off to be honest.

So I gave it a try and did my first Longitude takeoff & landing... That was terrible! After takeoff it takes a few seconds for the plane to reach 320+ kts and its system yells "overspeed!". It shouldn't behave like a fighter jet with afterburners on, should it?? And the approach? I was shocked, when the Longitude started to warn me about the stall, when I was flying 160 kts! This is insane! Even an airliner wouldn't stall at 160 kts! And the landing? Eh, I did it like an amateur 😞 So instead of a smooth & pleasant flight experience I felt like I was riding an angry bull in the skies. Totally disappointed...

Either I'm doing something stupidly wrong (highly probable) but how do you turn the lights above the seats off in the 320 cockpit? It's way too bright on a night flight. Found the dials for all the dash and centre console but like hell can I find the main cockpit lights.

  24. I just cannot believe how good it is. I heard some people complaining about the MSFS night lighting to be like FSX (because of baked-in night textures) but I wonder what drugs these complainers are on? I find the lighting extremely immersive and arguably the best part of the graphics.

Trim seems to be very "choppy". I cant set it to where a small input doesn't make the plane jump up or down. Setting issue?
