Excellent depiction of the Daher Kodiak 100 by SimWorks Studios, very well done, and best of all, just before the holidays. Excellent performance, easy on FPS, great details on the cockpit and the external model as well. The flight dynamics are very particular and remember me all the time this is not "any" aircraft, but the Kodiak 100. Regarding liveries, we won't have a hard time to get them. I don't know yet, haven't had the time to count them all, but it looks to me that we have more than 60-70 repaints in the base product, considering the different variations of the aircraft. I logged on to do a flight last night and was surprised to see all my assists were set to easy for somereason. So I had to spend a half hour sorting them all out. What that something I did some how or did orther simmers have the same experience. Would be nice to have an offline setting file if this is going to be a common occurence with this sim. Steam Edition BTW. I need to spend more time flying than tweaking. An offline settings file would easily restore the settings.

Don't shoot me down here but I wondered if I'm missing something. A flyby view option, in my opinion, is one of the most important things in a flight sim. To watch your landing/takeoff as if you were a person on the ground is one of the reasons I play this and yet it is very low down on the list for development. Am I alone here? Or is there a work around I don't know about?

Getting excited for the holidays and New Year. I am wondering if there is a trend that relates to developers and holidays. I'm hoping that we see some new stuff on the market by then, but we know how calendar dates and software development go. Personally, I'm hoping to see the MD80, and FBW A380 and/or VNAV implementation in the A320 before the new year.

Hi all, Is it possible that the levels of difficulty are set differently on different peoples' FS2020 sims? I ask this because for 2 weeks I've being trying to get an "A" (over 1 million points) on this challenge w/o any luck. The best yet, is 894,216 points. I've tried everything with no luck, so, I went on Youtube to watch other peoples' landings, and to my surprise, I noticed that with a couple of people who earned over 1 million points, they did not have hardly any fluctuation on their speedtape in regards to wind. They may have had a fluctuation of 3-12kts, other than that, almost stationary. In my case, I'm battling 15-48kts almost the entire time with the plan…

How do I change the settings so when I put the mouse cursor over like speed and move the scroll wheel, I can see the change in speed. I'm looking to put mouse cursor over the instrument, it tells me what it is and shows what I'm doing. Thanks

Got a new computer somewhere around october including an awesome G-Sync monitor. MSFS ran flawlessly on it. Smooth as butter all the time. SU7 changed all that. Apart from all the well known bugs I now have a huge stutter or mini-pause every 20 seconds or so. Can be 15 seconds or 30 but it's frequent. Doesn't sound like much but since performance is absolutely great in between those mega hickups, totally smooth, it's actually quite immersion breaking and utterly annoying. Take note: I also have this stutter when not moving! Like when I'm on the ground and I'm simply looking around! So it can't be a loading problem due to too high settings or something like that. …

I encountered something interesting tonight while taxiing across the causeway at VMMC-Macau. The taxiway at the taxi lines left, right, and center were moving up, down and sideways with the waves of the surrounding water. The pic shows the displacement of the concrete and lines.

Any of you know where I might find leafless trees, using Bijan's season mod and "Winter N Summer S"? I tried around LOWI, and all I had were snowy conifers. I then flew north/Ne into Germany and eventually the snow ended and it turned to summer (i.e. green and leafy trees). Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places?

After sim update 7 MSFS doesn't want to seem to connect to the bing world data. Everytime I load into a flight I get the error message, your bandwidth is to low for data streaming, you've been switched to offline mode. And then it turns into the terrible offline scenery that looks like fsx. When I run a internet speed test I get a very fast internet connection. I have no errors with my internet, It just seems to be a MSFS problem. I've restarted my computer, reinstalled the sim, and deleted everything that has to do with MSFS on my computer. But I always end up with this message and then the terrible scenery. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I tried to look for a thread about helicopters but couldn't find anything specific. So, obviously, I had to start one. Helicopters in FSX and P3D are pretty bad. With the honorable exception of the Dodosim 206, helicopter flight model is very poor and sluggish. The trailer for MSFS2020 catered for the obvious Airliner / GA crew but, as usual, the helicopter lovers are neglected. I hope they are being neglected in the trailer but not on the sim itself, though. MSFS2020 without helicopters would be disappointing for our niche. So after flying maybe 20 flights with the Kodiak 70%-80% of the time I have no issues. BUT maybe 20%-30% of the time its tough to control on TO and then when I engage the AP it spirals to the ground. The CG is within range so it does not seem to be that. It seems to generally occur when I fly in FSEconomy (Although some of the FSEconomy flights have been fine) What am I missing? Thanks, Dave

I wonder if any real world pilots of similar planes might attest to both the amplitude and quality of the plane's moving thru the air. I've been up several times in light aircraft in the real world and MSFS seems a more intense than my very limited experience. There seems to almost never be clear smooth flight it's always bobbing and weaving, sometimes very low amplitude sometimes quite high. P3D 4.5 w/ ASN4 most of the time was very sedate to absent by comparison. Somewhere in the middle might be ideal. Is there any way to dial back the turbulence intensity? Ok, I use P2ATC to do my flight plan. I've tried using the info box to set the parking space in the flightplan but I still end up on the runway. Not starting in a parking spot is totally messing up my communications in P2ATC. It seems that if it doesn't go in sequence as, clearance delivery, ground, tower etc., then the whole communications process with ATC is out the window. When I export a flight plan to MSFS it looks good. If I go to put in a specific parking spot the flight plan totally changes on the screen. So how do I get the airplane in a parking spot with the flight plan intact? It doesn't matter if it is a VFR or IFR flight plan. Thanks for the help. …

Hi all, with the H145 sale going on I may partake in some helicopter ops..Keeping in mind I’m not a helicopter guy and really know nothing of helicopters, what are the preferred controls method for this type of flying, Will a simple joystick and rudder pedals work for helicopter ops?

I'm not usually into Bush flying but I like Turboprops. The max speed is only 180 kts though? Will it get regular updates and with the MSFS NXI? Should I buy this thing??

I made what for me personally was a mistake of installing Reshade after someone here in the forum suggested it. Apparently, reshade does NOT even have an uninstall feature. According to various forum threads at different websites all over the internet, instructions (all of which were very different) for removing reshade is about a long multi step process including manually removing lots of .dll files. These files are not in one easy to find special folder, they are in your game folder and subfolders (I assume in my case, deep in the MSFS folders somewhere). One user at another forum who was running Pr3pared reported having to remove Pr3pared from their computer …
