Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Lately the FBW A32NX is giving me more and more problems. Until one or two weeks ago I had no problem loading SIDs and approaches but lately the plan on the ND looks totally screwed up with lines going everywhere. It made editing the plan in the MCDU a PITA. I am better of not using any procedures at all. The plan looks great on SimBrief, in LNM and in the MSFS planner (if I care to load it in there) but the MCDU won't play nicely anymore. Since today I am also having problems with managed NAV disengaging by itself and not wanting to work anymore. Also ALT refuses to go into managed mode. I followed the official guidelines but I am still missing my Carenado Seneca V from the Content manager, Hanger. I did see it as "installed" in the Official folder. I logged out of everything, rebooted, logged back in. All of it. I still do not have the plane. Anyone have any suggestions? I already sent a ticket but I doubt I will see any help. Seriously. All of my other add-ons are present. EMB 110, DC-6, Just Flight Piper Series, CRJ, Zenith STOL etc etc. Just this one plane is missing. Can anyone help with this? Hi, I didn't find time for flying for a week or so, and when I launched MSFS today I found my C172 Steam Gauge is gone. It was the one I flew last, and the image in the upper left displayed an Ultralight. I checked a few others of the Premium Planes including the Dreamliner and they are there. The files in the /Offical folder (asobo-aircraft-c172sp-classic) are still in place. I'm running the Steam version and hotfix. I doubt that matters but who knows. Did anyone experience such before? The topics and terminology used throughout this forum are particularly exacting in terms of the linguistic skills necessary to communicate a message or ask a question or offer a response. I personally can't imagine doing so in a second language. Even the MSFS development team itself is largely composed of multilingual individuals. Many -- perhaps most -- of the best and most helpful contributors to this forum live in non-English-speaking countries. I want to be sure I'm not missing something glaring here but is it at all possible to do this in this game?: Create a flight plan in LitteNavMap (LNM) Save it in MSFS format Select departure airport in the game & load into the airplane Use the Garmin avionics to navigate to and load the saved LNM plan Loading the initial flight from the globe screen works fine. The plane loads with the plan loaded but after that short hop I want to do many many more and dont want to keep going back to the menu. Can you load plans directly from the plane (like you can in FSX & XP11)? Thanks.

Two nights ago I purchased the Carenado Seneca. When I logged on tonight, the plane is missing from my librrary. Not in content manager either???

Since SU7 I most of the time have no weather and even time changing working. I have the weather options (scattered, broken clouds etc) but the sky just stays blue. Have not weather mod active, and REX Weather Force is OFF. Anyone has a clue?

I haven't really used MS2020 much since I purchased it at launch. I have started flying it now, but I have a problem with the C172 GNS530 & GNS430 in the analogue version.When I try to dial in the ILS frequency by pressing the "Push C/N" button, the digits only change in the COM section. Can someone advise if this is a bug? I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, as I've used the GNS430 in other sims. Regards Andy

Its been a while since using a GPS for my flights and I am just starting again with the GTN750 mod. Sometimes it seems that loading an approach removes the last waypoint in the plan and redirects the plane. Is that the way its supposed to happen. I thought the approach would start then from the last waypoint. Please forgive my ignorance on this. Thanks

I have issues with the pimarc GNS 530 mod - when I add an RNAV procedure to a flightplan and activate it the aircraft flies to the IAF as expected but just before getting there the active flightplan is deleted. I don't see this behavior in the default version but perhaps I am missing something here. The mod adds a lot but this oddity is annoying. Anyhow if this is just a case of user error I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks. Bruce

If two scenery files of the same area are stored at the community folder, one of them takes precedence, or they superimpose ?

Is anyone else experiencing pixelated / grainy clouds again? If so, were you able to find a fix for them?

Could someone explain why there are so many problems with live weather. Last week it was trying to knock my pretty FBW A320 out of the sky. After a couple of days it seemed to start working ok. Tonite it tried to knock me out again. It's taking the ISA to 233 degrees celsius, which then takes the engines to idle, blah, blah, blah. Those affected know what I'm speaking of. I'm not in any shape, fashion, or form, a programmer. So is having live weather working properly some sort of programmers nightmare? Is the technology just not there right now to provide consistant live weather in game? Just askin'

Also what's coming and when for WU8??? There used to be a chart showing their development progress over the coming months.

I know that LOD stands for Level of Detail. But does LOD also include Distance of Detail? In other words, does LOD extend the draw distance, as well as the detail, of the scenery? And while I'm at this... Do higher settings for Buildings and Trees extend the draw distance, as well as the visual fidelity of these objects? On my own system, the main effect I see when I increase LOD is that everything looks sharper.
