Hi All I have seen that we can change the callsign of generic aircraft types in the Sim but I was wondering whether there is a way to modify it for individual liveried aircraft. So for example in the SC F-16 it would be great to be able to assign the correct callsign for each different squadron. This used to be quite a simple edit of the CFG in P3D/FSX but not sure with MSFS? Cheers

Aerosoft has just released Ben Gurion for MSFS. I rushed and grabbed it, as the whole middle east environment is one of those that I really like to explore now that we've finally got some decent base scenery for the area with MSFS. However, if you're thinking of doing the same, please look very closely at the sample images posted on the AS product page. I didn't, and on my first look round at the airport in the sim I was extremely disppointed with what I found. Hi all, I am struggling using the King Air's G3X MFD, with or without the crappy WT mode. Are there any hidden buttons one can use or is it really all touch? Like when trying to scroll down a FLP with the mouse pointer/arrow on the white bar at the right of the FLP window. Sometimes I can scroll but most times I cannot. It works a bit better with the FLP open on the PFD, but still not perfect. Very very buggy. Would like to hear from others. If you set your own wind (vice using real weather) by rotating the little arrow symbol in the weather section, is the displayed wind direction value true or magnetic? Thx, Al

I am having problems with reverse thrust in the Boeing 787 and Boeing 747. The A320NX reverse works ok. I have a separate profile setup for this a/c. I have allocated a button on my Saitek X55 to enable reverse thrust. This seemed to work switching to reverse but as soon as I increase the throttle again the reversers close. I tried to set another button to HOLD Reverse Thrust but that does not seem to do anything. Can anyone tell me if there is a particular way to set this up? Thank you, Baz

To me it seems fairly obvious that with the Holidays starting in only a day or two from now, that Asobo is not going to issue fixes for things they broke with SU7 until sometime next year. I dread what will happen with SU8 when they drop that on us. Obvious to me that they are no hurry at all to rectify problems they create with these updates. Terrible way to treat your customers.

I'm currently setting up a flight from KMCO to KPNS and on the Taxi chart at KPNS it says this "Black Hole illusion exists during approach to Rwy 26 at Night" Having never heard of this terminology a quick google says this "The black hole illusion, sometimes called the featureless terrain illusion, fools pilots into thinking they are higher than they actually are, causing them to fly dangerously low approaches." So, I am putting a question mark (?) in the title, because I believe Seb, Martial, and Jorg said that supersonic flight modelling is officially supported in MSFS after SU7, but it's also kind of confusing because when the question was asked, Jorg was kind of shaking his head and implied it wasn't supported, but then Seb said it was supported, and Martial responded after Seb saying anything they implemented on supersonic flight modelling is open to other 3rd party developers, and then finally Jorg responded after Martial, implying that nothing is locked from the 3rd party developers: Seb, Martial, and Jorg's response on super sonic flight modelling available for 3rd p…

In fact, no inner buttons that need to be pressed to change function work eg changing frequency COM to V/LOC, the selector remains on COM. With the ADF, the inner knob needs to be pushed in order to select the decimal. I'm using the middle mouse button. Tried the usual things, reinstalling MSFS/Google etc. This is with all aircraft, default and payware (JF PA28). Not had the problem until about a month ago. This is going to depend on your actual controls and their settings... but if you find the rudder and yoke controls to be overly sensitive, you can fine tune them in the flight_model.cfg file for the variant that you are flying. With my CH Yoke, and Saitek pedals, I have toned them down as follows: [FLIGHT_TUNING] cruise_lift_scalar =1 parasite_drag_scalar =1 induced_drag_scalar =1.25 flap_induced_drag_scalar =1.2 elevator_effectiveness =0.3 // 0.4 elevator_maxangle_scalar =0.75 aileron_effectiveness =0.45 // 0.6 rudder_effectiveness =0.15 // 0.3 YMMV 😉 BTW, does anyone know what this line is for... Hello, while in greece there is overcast and broken, the MSFS injects nothing but clear sky. please asobo, fix.

Is there any method to change the default VNAV descent profile in the NXi from the default 3° to perhaps 2° or 1.7° ? The default 3.0° produces too rapid of a FPM descent from cruise for non-pressurized aircraft like the Baron or Bonanza. Please note that I asked about changing the default. I am clearly aware of how to change the setting during a flight.

Hi, I dont have the premium content and have had no problem buying third party specific airports (msfs premium package does not seem to go on sale). However for the life of me I cant find KSFO nor am I aware of anyone working on it. I do the the freeware one at .TO but I see there are major issues with it per the comment section. Anyone here know of anything in the works?

Hi I can't load approaches in game on the g1000 da62 it only allows me to load the procedures from world map before game start. When I click Proc then scroll down to APP in flight it just highlights NONE, again this being possible to load before flight start on same approach. Anyone have any ideas?

Well for a start i just cant download the word not allowed thing. Tried 9 times each with failed to download. This was purchased of there site. Anyone else had issues just trying to download it?
