Is it possible to enable VNAV for any waypoint you want in the G1000 mod? Like I want to fly to a remote airstrip and I'd like to use VNAV to calculate the TOD for it. I can't get that done in any way. I can't enter an altitude for that airport (or any waypoint) and I can't get VNAV working for it in any way. Afaik it should be possible... Maybe just not yet in this mod? I watched various video's but they are all about waypoints that have an alt in blue at the right already. Check the screenshot for an example: is there a way to enable VNAV for AYWU in any way?

Because of a couple of problems over the past week, I want to uninstall/ reinstall MS2020. Can someone please tell me how to redownload MS2020 from Microsoft Store? I have located MS2020 in my "Order History" but I can't see anything to click on to begin the Download process. I'm afraid I find MS Store a bit difficult to negotiate, and I would appreciate some advice.

I know there were quite a few, including myself, who complained about the brightness of the G1000s on the Simworks Kodiak. I was elated to initially hear that the issue would be rectified in the hotfix, but unless it's me, I still find them far too bright, even when turned down to minimum. Am I alone with this, or do some others of you feel the same way?

After my research I have found out one difference that may be important regarding which one is best to buy. I have been told that 'I would say currently the non-turbo and turbo arrow iii's handle adverse yaw quite differently. Never having flown a plane, I don't know which is more realistic' Does anyone here knows what that difference is and which one could be said to be most realistic ? Each world update lists the new Asobo handrawn airports. The standard, deluxe, and premium airports are all listed on the MSFS forum. You can keep track of any airport you download for free or bought, and installed. If you gather your lists together you can place them all on a google map using the My Maps creation tool. That Google map you just made can be downloaded offline for viewing. It's identical map also remains there still online. Hello all, I have a difference betwen the FL of my plane and the FL reported by Aivlasoft or VATSIM. ex : now i fly from LFPG to DUBLIN and my FL of my plane is 280 (1013HPA) but AIVLASOFT report 270 and VATSIM also 270. Yesterday i check with a ATC online in VATISM and the ATC see my plane FL and not AIVLA or VATSIM report I'm open to all sugestions Thank you

Hello…Is there a way to turn off the frozen water effect in MSFS? It looks ridiculous to have rivers and large bodies of water turn to ice anywhere there is snow. For example, the Seattle area is currently experiencing a cold snap, and while it was cool to see the snow coverage in the sim, the Puget Sound and Lake Washington were completely frozen over! This is common in Alaska too, where most of the coastal cities are now surrounded by ice in the sim. Though the effect looks great in the appropriate areas, I’d rather just deal with unfrozen alpine lakes if it can be turned off. I had given up 6 or 8 months ago when Dell finally cancelled my order with the brief message - No longer available. Amazon's response was "We don't know if or when we will ever receive more of this product". I gave up and bought the Airbus TCA Quadrant but the addons were on backorder until a couple of weeks ago. Now I am seeking some basic profiles for the Warthog for MSFS. Anyone have a link or jpg for the default MSFS assignments or a personal one they are willing to share? I always think it's good medicine to be able to laugh at yourself, which is exactly what I did today after spending about an hour not undertsanding why I couldn't cold start the Kodiak. I had forgotten to turn off the fuel shutoff valve on the pedestal!

Just downloaded msfs so I probably shouldn't be flying the Daher TBM 930 yet (I do have 150 hours in actual light aircraft like 172s and Citabrias). I noticed that it seems to want to bank farther than the aileron input I'm giving it. Is this due to the fact that it's cruising, in my case, at about 200 knots?

My rudder pedals are 'over sensitive' and I do not seem to be able to find a happy setting within MSFS 2020. That said, I am happy with the way they perform in P3D. Has anyone else got these pedals, and if so can you share your sensitivity settings within MSFS 2020. Any other thought would be appreciated.

Question for you all... If you had to pick 1 or 2 settings within the sim that affect the performance of the sim for better or for worse what would that be? Probably an open ended question but thought I would get your feedback. Merry Christmas!

I want to fly a multi-engine plane, but only have one throttle peripheral. Is there any way to toggle which throttle (1, 2, or both) my lever controls, such as by pressing different hot keys? For example, during start-up I may want my lever to control the engines individually, but while flying I want to control both simultaneously. I want to switch this back and forth as needed by using different hotkeys. I wish to do the same with the prop and mixture controls. If this is not possible in MSFS, will FSUIPC allow me to program this? I've spent an hour researching it online and can't find a clear answer. Thanks!

Redwings Connie has been updated and is available at Simarket, it now has a fully functioning flight engineer, on the first flight the FE seems to work well.

Am using a PC for MSFS but I just bought an XBOX controller purely for controlling the drone camera in showcase view, it works an absolute treat. BUT, the menu screen which used to say ESC Main Menu now says B Main Menu. The ESC was a rectangular shape indicating a keyboard button, while the B is a circle indicating an XBox controller button. I’ve searched the Options menu for a way to change this but did not find anything. Anyone know how to put it back as it was before? Like as if to priority recognize the keyboard as the main device for menu controlling not the XBox controller? Thanks

On the Controls Options screen, can the left-to-right order in which the different controllers (Keyboard, Mouse, Yoke, ..... etc) are displayed across the top of the screen be changed by the user? If so, how? Thx, Al
