I noticed a washed out appearance on my MSFS2020 VFR map and my Firefox avionics screen when flying from Mile Hi,Thomas Creek,Cougar Creek and Mahoney Creek Fine airstrips but an odd artefact xxd09

A great way to start the new year. Looks like live weather is down for in the beta version. I'm sure this carries over to the regular version with visibility issues. I was having a good time with the sim all week. Not holding to much hope this will get resolved over the New Year weekend. It's back to static weather which was what I was using prior to trying the beta... 😌

Happy New Year, Today I installed the latest version of FBW's A32NX experimental. Compared to the development version (0dbab2d), I am losing about 40% of fps. Am I the only one experiencing this? Just curious. (For the time being I will revert to the development version).

Hey everyone - Happy New Year! I was hoping to get your help on trying to tweak my MSFS to deliver decent frame rates on a fairly good computer. Currently I can only get 25-35 fps regularly while flying and if I'm at a busy airport like Heathrow, my fps is 15-25 while looking around the cockpit. I'm currently only flying at 1080p to try and reduce the demands on the computer, but that doesn't improve FPS majorly. I am running default graphics specs on high It appears as if I'm main threat limited (see screenshot in link below), but my GPU / CPU utilisation is only ~30%. Although I have owned it for years, I have only just started to use FS-FlightControl in MSFS 2020 and what a great piece of software it is, which I guess many of you are unaware of. So much fun to position and configure your aircraft anywhere you want it. I know there is a long thread about live weather not working and the beta version but I have a specific question that I couldn't find in the thread. I don't have the beta version currently. I am not getting any live weather or any clouds whatsoever regardless of the weather preset i pick. I have the Unreal preset and that doesn't do anything. I will load a flight with clear sky preset and regardless of what preset I change it to, I just have clear. So my question is, does the current issue with live weather impact non beta users as well and does my issue sound like a separate issue?

hi community, I purchased the MSFS2020 flightsimulator and a scenery of an airport and installed it on a PC. Is it possible to install both also on another indepandant PC in a different room (both PC´s and MSFS2020 are never running at the same time) ? can I use the same microsoft-account ? what about updates, will both MSFS2020-versions (both PC´s) be updated if available ? can I use the already purchased airport szenery again ? Hello everyone, I bought REX MSFS2020 yesterday and I have several problems with this software. During cruise flight, flying above the transition altitude, the REX is trying to force to set de local QNH and the MSFS2020 return to the QNH causing altitude variations. This one repeats every 5s till I turn off the REX. Someone had this problem and may help me how to solve that. Thanks

Hey guys, I remembered during my FSX years, I was using this AFSD program a lot https://www.aero.sors.fr/designer_pilot_utilities.html Mainly to get a real time data feed on all engine parameters, like consumption, A/F ration, efficiency, max distance at this speed and tons more stuff, it was very nice to see all of that to get a better understanding at the aircraft engine. Sadly, even with FSUIPC 7 install I can't make it to work. DO anyone knows any alternative that would work with MSFS?

Seeing Imaginesim doesn't doesn't have a forums I figured I ask here. I have the Imaginesim Atlanta installed but I see the default MSFS2020 Atlanta bleed through. I see it on all the ground markings, taxi ways, runways, wind socks, etc. Do we have to disable the default scenery? If I do disable the default do I loose anything in the scenery?

I had been struggling with the dreaded "Black Loading Screen" problem which, suddenly started on Thursday Dec 30. I spent many hours trying all the recommended solutions/work arounds with no success. Friday evening, December 31, I turned off and then back on three Steam Overlay parameters: Enable Overlay Use Big Picture Use Desktop Game and, for no apparent reason because I had done that many times prior, the Sim loaded just as it should. To help select a flight destination I would like to conveniently "jump" around to different airports to see what the airport scenery looks like without having to go through the process of loading a flight departure and destination from the main menu. One possible way is to use the Teleport Window in Developer mode. Is there a better way? Thx, Al

Hi, since yesterday I have a problem with live weather. It loads the surrounding environment reported by the airport metar correctly, but neither the QNH, nor the wind and the temperature, both on the ground and in flight, change but remain fixed on standard values (temperature 15 degrees, wind from 270 3 knots , QNH 1013). Do you encounter this problem? Do you have any solutions to try? I have already tested by loading sky clear and then in game to activate the live weather, but nothing. I don't know if the problem lies with me (the options in the settings are correctly activated) or with the Asobo / Meteo Blue servers. Thanks.

Hi, I switched from a Saitex X52Pro to Constellation Alpha with Mongoose CM2 base. My new stick is recognized in MSFS2020 and in the sensitivity window it looks fine on al axis. But in all the planes the movement in the cockpit is strange: while constant moving to the right, it first doesnt move, than slow a short travel, and then abrupt to the extreme right. When I center the Virpil stick, the stick in the plane keeps to the right. To othter directions similar behaviour. Before the Virpil I had a Saitek X52 Pro throttle and stick. New release on SimMarket today of Roland Laborie's Canadair CL-215 firefighting plane. Just upgraded from a 24" 1080 monitor to a 32" 1440 monitor. Using an RTX3070 with a 5600X and 32 GB RAM, I was able to max everything out at 1080 but framerates well under half of what they were running at 1440, which I suppose stands to reason rendering twice as many pixels. No problems at altitude, but I'm getting 20 fps where I was getting 40 + fps on the runways. It looks like I'm having to go from ultra settings to high settings, which seems to negate the benefits of a monitor upgrade and I've turned render scaling back from 120 to 100. Anyone else has experienced this ? Since 2 days the first time I startup MSFS just before going into the main menu it crashes. If I restart MSFS and choose start Normal it loads and I can fly as long as I want ..,,

after loading a flight plan from navigraph into msfs 2020 everything loads fine. Since I want to do a cold startup I go and choose my ramp number from under the from location. As soon as I pick a spot the world map changes the flight plan by showing several different routes along with the total time for the original flight plan locations , and adds the waypoints into the original flight plan route. This just started to happen about a week ago. It was working fine previously. Any one have any ideas as how to fix this. All help appreciated. Thanks Al
