Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I've just spent the best of 15 minutes to reprogram the throttle reverse on the Milviz Porter. So, if it may help others, this is what is to be done : affect button 29 to Toggle Throttle Reverse Thrust with Press on Release. I suppose it works with other aircraft.

I can not get the LED/Ann light dimmer to operate on the Caravan. All the other dimmers work fine. I have unbound ALL light settings from keyboard, Mouse, Alpha control , Bravo Throttle & it still wont move. All the others work by using the mouse to control them but not this one Any ideas

I'm so tired of this horrific Asobo update procedure. Yet again, I'm stuck in one of those dreaded update loops. This time it's fs-base-0.1.210-fspatch ... at around 96% of the 8Gb "update". The solution appears to be to find (and delete) the offending .part file - which is located in ...\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore (MS Store version). Grrrr!

As per instructions I opted out of the MSFS beta and then updated to v1.21.18. All seemed to go well but now the Just Flight Turbo Arrows III + IV Show license failure on the co-pilot tablet. She loads and starts but none of the gauges work. Any ideas?

I used the Steam Move process to relocate my Steam Flight Sim library member from a SSD to the newly installed Intel SSD6 NVMe drive. Steam did the move and told me it was happy with the results. Now - when I start the Sim from within Steam - Installation Manager (checking for updates) wants to download 35 to 125 GB of content because it is a "Mandatory Update". I've pointed the install packages path at every possible permutation of folder levels but Installation Manager insists on updating. AP was working great until last two updates. AP cancels whenever I switch to external view. Anyone else having this problem too? Plane running great otherwise.

I am looking to bump up my memory and upgrade my GPU for MSFS 2020. Based on my specs below, what are some suggestions that I could do in order to see a noticeable performance/visual upgrade? Before SU7 the space bar used to toggle "Cockpit View Upper" / cockpit view lower, which made seeing over the panel better during landing. Now it only shifts to the higher view as long as the "space" is depressed. This make thing awkward. If this has been covered before I could not find it.

Hello, question regarding the WT G1000NXi VNAV profile. Hope someone can help out. Take a look at this screenshot of a route I have plugged in with an RNAV approach. For some reason the g1000 has some waypoint “ETNOR” as it’s vnav waypoint however the first RNAV approach point is NEPAM. 2 questions: why does it say ETNOR. where did that come from? how can I change the vnav waypoint to something else like the first waypoint in the RNAV approach? Post the recent update I can't access my content manager to download updates - it is greyed out and the little circle thingy just goes round and round. Any clues? Thanks. Bruce Edit OK scratch that cleared out the Community folder and and Content Manager now works and can download updates.

Have there been / will there be any news or updates on the Fenix A320? I feel like they have been quiet so I was wondering if the project is slowing or if maybe I missed something. Did they say they plan to release it this year?

FYI, Asobo has posted a fix to the outage that happened this weekend has now been addressed and resolved.

Hi all, Just got MSFS 2020 installed and working after many hours of issues and a rebuild of my PC, having been out of the sim game for a while (but sold ont the reviews for the stunning looking MSFS2020) and with baited breath plugged in my Sidewinder 2 FFB with xpforce, hoping to get the experience with FFB as some on here I read have had success with aaaand.. The SW2 is recognised as an XBOX 360 controller! This is most infuriating. I even have the original install discs for the joystick - no joy. How have ppl on here been able to get around this? I've been looking for quite a while now at the Elgato Stream Deck XL and would be interested in hearing thoughts about this product from anyone who has been using it with MSFS. I lost my microsoft login account. I decided to remove this account from microsoft login, not knowing that my flightsimulator uses this account...(stupid fool i am) (my e-mail account was hacked) And now msfs2020 is not working anymore. I tried to restore my account but no luck. I also made a new account with another e-mail adres into microsoft store (xbox) but when i startup flightsimulator it comes up with my old microsoft account e-mail adress. Which i removed from microsoft....So in short: new e-mail account in microsoft store, but starting up flightsimulator it shows my old (hacked) e-mail account....I really hope that i have entered sufficient info for restoring my …
