I am considering buying Gayas Vienna airport even thought it's despite the sale quite expensive when you add the taxes. Is there something else arriving for Vienna? Whats about Flytampa will the relauch their versoin for MSFS? How do you like Gayas version?

I know the G1000 Nxi is freeware and the PMS50 is payware - that aside - which one do you think is better and why? I am just curious, as I do not appreciate what is probably many significant and subtle differences.

For several months now I have not had a CTD. One thing I miss from the Aerosoft A320 in FSX is 'RAAS'. When I saw FS2Crew has released a program for RAAS for the FBW A320 I purchased and installed a copy. Immediately I started getting random CTD's. These occurred at different times; while the sim was loading, flight planning, after pressing the 'fly' button or sitting in the cockpit. I never got off the ground. I then uninstalled the program and I have not had a CTD since. Has anyone else installed this program and if so with what result.

I believe at this time, there are two Embraer 170s available as freeware. Do you folks have any experience with them and is one clearly better than the other? (Note; I have low expectations and not looking to find a study level aircraft).

Hello, I "fly" P3d V5.3 hf ++, I decided to try the new technology and installed MSFS on my win11 PC. After a long installation, loading all the DVDs , loading all the updates .. it seams ready... BUT I do not want to go with all the lessons, I want to use my old joystick (working perfectly in P3d ), do some GA flights to "see" around the world. How to install and use my joystick (no keyboard, ...) and fly as it is possible in P3d ..?? Thanks in advance

I seemed to have changed a setting (at least i think I might have) that makes turning the knobs in the flight deck with my mouse/scroll wheel incredibly slow. I don't have any other method that I know if but is there a want to get the knobs to react faster to my mouse inputs? Or is there an alternative way to do that without additional hardware, like an in sim setting? Is there a way to map any of them to my Hotas Warthog throttle? Or are most of you all just dealing with it? Maybe FBW can fix it.

As shown in the picture here, there is no snow for a bit and then snow gradually appears more and more. It looks very realistic and quite good. However I’m wondering how the sim comes to its conclusions about where snow begins and end. Anyone know of any details of this process? I have never seen so many pine trees in the Chicago area (yes, we have some). The rendering seems to be auto gen of some kind. My house might as well be hidden in a canopy, this seems like the old Flight Sim. Like others, I have turned Bing Data Word Graphics on and messed around with Photogrammetry (on or off), deleted cache. My current Data consumption is sitting at 5.46MIB (I think the Data tracking reset day setting of 1 changes it every day so I don't have to think about it), no data limitation (it's set to off). My internet up/down is more than sufficient. Thoughts?

I'm currently using DX11 because DX12 reduces FPS on my system.

Did Asobo/MS said anything about GPU optimization? My 3090 is going crazy, especially in unnessary situations. It's quite load and more importantly a waste of energy. Is there something they said about planning to optimize it? at least we know they will skip one WU or SU and focus on fixing bugs, but I wonder if they consider GPU optimization into that category.

How do i connect a program (on a client pc written for fsx 32 bit) to MSFS on the host pc? I have a simkits built cockpit which i would like to use in MFSF. The problem is that the software/drivers etc only work on a 32 bit system (compatibility on the host 64 bit does not work) Therefore i made a network running FSX on the client (32 bit windows 7 through widefs) and fsx on the host,and everything works. But,I would like to use my hardware on MSFX,that was the whole idea:) When I'm starting the software for simkits (simconnect) on the client, and then start MSFS on the host,the program can not make a connection to MSFS. Flying the Caravan around Fiji area, there are airports that have no published procedures. In LittleNavmap you can create a custom approach from a certain distance out & altitude. It creates a waypoint & this can be inserted into the flight plan. This will show on the flight plan & the A/C will fly the LNAV legs. There is no VNAV info avail. Can a VNAV be programmed into the G1000Nxi to give a TOD & descend to the created waypoint so it will fly the VNAV as well as the LNAV approach?
