Hi everyone I am seeking some assistance on an issue that I have been trying to resolve for a while. I am using the stable version of FBW, and for some odd reason I cannot not get the PAX to loading via the W/B while setting up the MCDU during preflight. When on the W&B page via the AOC Menu, (page 1) I am clicking the OFP Request send, then on page 2, I am clicking the request button and then the Boarding start button, yet the I see the number of PAX due to load but nothing is happening. Fuel loading is fine, just the PAX are not loading at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Anyone know how to get the flight plan off the bottom of the screen and just show the map full screen using the WT G3000. I've gone thru all the settings but don't seem to find anything to remove it. I've watched YouTube video's and the flight plan is not on the bottom so there has to be a way to do it. Thanks for any suggestions!

Finally got my Saitek/Logitech Flight system up and running, including the Autopilot panel (after some useful tips from Logitech) and started experimenting flying. Found a strange behaviour of the yoke: when I turn the wheel just a little too far the plane suddenly goes into a full bank as if I'd turned the wheel all the way, which I didn't. It's quite difficult recovering, have to turn the wheel all the way in the opposite direction to recover from what turns into a dive. Never had anything like that in all the years of flying on FSX with a Logitech G940. Any suggestion at some settings for the yoke for example would be most welcome. One of the things I had to do t…

Several weeks ago, many of us on this forum were sent email solicitations to complete a survey detailing our flight simming habits. This was a lengthy survey that took me quite a long time to complete. We were promised at the end of this survey that the results would be made public shortly. So where are the published results?

  8. I had an issue and wanted to use system restore, only to find there were no backups to restore from. Windows clears out old system restore points. If you aren't continually creating new restore points, then you may have run out when you need them. Compared to the size of drives, restore points are tiny and use almost no space. It's really easy to make Windows create a restore point every time you startup Windows. But it takes some time to go through the steps to set it up. But you only have to do that once. I don't really notice it's taking longer to boot up Windows either, but it probably is. https://www.howtogeek.com/278388/how-to-make-windows-automatically-cr…

  9. I own the P3D Payware version of this plane, I haven't used any of IFE's other planes, but the F-35 in P-3D was excellent, so I'm hoping the MSFS is just as good (minus any P3D features MSFS doesn't have). According to IFE's facebook page, they're aiming to release next week, but it depends if the retailers are back from vacation. It will be around same price as their T-45.

The H125 is still in beta so I presume they'll address gauges and interior textures in future updates. Is there logic behind why some planes have the trim axis reversed? I use a Thrustmaster t16000 and twcs setup, and use the wheel under my left little finger for trim (it's an axis rather than a rotary encoder, unfortuately). Most planes have the axis in one direction, but some (Milviz Porter and FreedomFox being two that spring to mind) have it reversed, meaning that I trim down when I'm expecting up and vice versa. As you can imagine, this leads to a few interesting moments. I know I can reverse the trim axis in the controls setup, but that's a global setting. Is it possible to have plane-specific reversed axes? Any other options to solve?

  12. Tried numerous times yesterday to run The Kodiak 100, re-installed 3 times, stripped everything out of Community folder. This morning ran 4 flights. One each with 152, Piaggio, TBM and 172. All were fine. Re-installed the Kodiak, picked the plane went to totally different airport and bang, CTD.

I have found how to get the beta, have installed the xbox insider hub, I pressed join on the preview for MSFS, but the next option seems to be installing the game again via the hub, which I dont want to do...... What am I missing? The instrcutions I found online (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-participate-in-the-public-beta/480099) say it should give you a mandatory update at this stage.....which I did not see? And then a small update within the sim? thanks

  15. As the title says, MSFS does not launch anymore. It repeatedly brings up the Store page with Microsoft gaming services. Only choice is to "Install on my devices". After that I select my device and "Install now". I get a message "thank you, we are attempting to install on your selected devices" and that's it. On the Gaming service main page it says 'this product is installed". However, attempting to launch MSFS leads to the same Store page .. I also checked the downloads and updates page, it says "you're good to go" Any ideas ?

Hi all I have this problem with a 3rd party airport. Install the airport. Load a flight - all good. Shut down the sim. Restart sim - load in at same airport. Now there are duplicate runway markings [centre line and touch down markings] and taxi lines and apron markings. Remove the content.xml. Restart the sim, load in again - all good. Shutdown and restart - problem back. The airport is one of bespoke/handcrafted airports. Removed it from ../OneStore/. Restart the sim and let it re-download this airport. Same testing as described above. Problem still there. I have a friend with same 3rd party airport, and no such problems. Obviously it sounds…

  17. I have run into a couple of problems while setting up the rudder and elevator trim controls in FS. When assigning the rudder controls, I selected right rudder trim and then start scanning. while in scanning mode I moved the wheel forward and it registered Number 9 as expected I then hit validate and repeated the procedure for left rudder trim and it came up number 10. So far so good. I I then selected apply and save but in the sim nothing happens when I move the rudder trim wheel. Also when it comes to the elevator trim set up I can't seem to find an option for setting nose up and nose down trim. All I can find is either toggle elevator trim or set elevator trim, eac…

The PC-12 is one of the best turboprop planes in GA. I’m curious as to why no one has attempted a flight sim version of the NG. Flight1 had the older, non-glass cockpit version of the PC-12 which was my favorite one to fly. Is it the Honeywell avionics? I know that we have the TBM, but the PC-12 is better for STOL and grass/dirt strip flying. I would love to see someone develop one.

  19. I did some searching on captain sim but didn't find an answer. I bought CS 777 when it was 10 dollars because I had heard about the Salty Mod and the ECAIS mod which have really turned this jet around. For some reason there is a contrail coming out of the vertical stab in a single line. Maybe its the way captain sim made it... I certainly hope not... but possibly. Do any of you have the CS 777-300ER? Can you tell me if this is what you see also? If you have been able to get a proper contrail, is there a place to find the file? I found a file on fs.to that said it added a contrail but then remarked it was removed because Captain Sim fixed the contrai…

  20. Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has solved the problem of being able to setup the reverse thrust on this throttle quad. I know that some of the people that have reviewed this on YouTube have mentioned it. but as of now, I can't find any review that mentions this problem as solved. It really is strange that this product came out w/o this basic function being operational. Thanks. Mario

Does anyone know why when inbound on the Aspen localizer approach (111.15), it loses its signal at around 4.5NM? Is this bug? This seems to be the only airport it happens.Thanks.

Does anyone here know the X-Plane plugin "head shake"? https://www.simcoders.com/headshake/headshake/ Many of the effects we have with FSRealistic but especially the Taxi Look Ahead is fantastic. For the simmers who don't know X-Plane and the plugin (from the website): I wonder if this could be possible somehow with the MSFS camera system. As far as I could find out, there is no solution yet.

So is there a known fix or work-around (other than a complete reinstalling nightmare) for MS's update installer not properly calculating the needed drive space? I'm trying to get a 2 GB update and I have 93GB available on the drive yet it insists I don't have enough space and i can't use the sim now. Is there a trick here, to make it install? I cant believe I walk away for 6 months waiting for them to get their act together, and now that I wanted to come back, there's this issue. Never in my life...wow

Has anyone been able to feather the prop in the Kodiak? I reduce prop lever till it hits the gate, and can't get past that point to feather 90% of the time.

  25. So currently I have P3D and would really love to get MSFS if possible. If I were to upgrade my GPU and RAM do you think I could run it? Here are my current specs. OS: Win 10 CPU: Intel I5 quad core 4460 @ 3.2ghz GPU: Nvidia GeForce 750ti Memory: 12GB DDR3 HD: 2TB HDD I would hopefully like to run it on medium settings if possible. Thanks
