Hi, just out of interest: is there a way to run MSFS on linux? @asobo could that be something that had a chance to be possible in the future?

Now I've picked up the Twotter and given it a bit of a try out I'm trying to set up my controllers (HC Alpha and Bravo) to work with it as well as possible and it appears that despite being an experienced developer Aerosoft has made a UTTER mess of the controller mappings. The most obvious example is for Prop Feathering - you can see here under section 4 that they have set a single in-game command - TOGGLE PROPELLER REVERSE THRUST- to turn on feathering for BOTH props at the same time with no mechanism to allow you to turn it on for a single prop. Hello, Has anyone seen Inibuilds A300 previews?? Looks amazing.....even though I dont use X-Plane it would be nice if theres a MSFS 2020 version.

Is this just me, or is there some intrinsic issue with the inner workings of MSFS that make take offs just overly sensitive in the yaw axis. I know all about prop yaw and stuff, but I find it extremely difficult sometimes to keep most aircraft straight along the runway during ground rolls! The Kodiak on it's release I found, was really difficult and there was a hotfix that, amongst other things, I think I'm right in saying reduced this characteristic. I have read quite a lot of others' experiences saying similar things, but to date I have no definitive idea whether this is under investigation, whether it's an MSFS bug, whether it's modelled this way by design or whatever.…

That all my weather presets looked great and clouds looked great until the patch. It concerns me that they allow beta testers who might make up the "all is great" brigade, and then push out updates based on their opinions. Clouds are not as good as i remember them at the moment. As the SDK/Simconnect is not that enhanced it is causing a framerate drop over time when I use the Prosim WASM file. I got the tip to reload the ac which should bring the framerate back as when I started MSFS. Is there a way I can assign a keystroke combo / button to Developers mode -> Reload aircraft ? As some of you know, the release of AIG's AI Traffic for MSFS 2020, as well Simple Traffic, have exposed some flaws in the current implementation of AI traffic handling. In particular, KATL has an annoying habit of "stacking" airplanes on certain runways ready for take off, but they never take off. It was then discovered that there are hold short points on those runways that cause the issue. Interestingly, if you look at those runways in Bing maps (and Google maps) satellite view, there are indeed hold short lines on those runways! (Why, I have no idea). If you're in the cockpit and press "Insert" it takes you to the external view. Then if you press "end" once it will take you to a zoomed in view of your aircraft's tail. If you press "end" a second time, it takes you to...what? Is that the view from the nearest airport?

Apologies I posted in the wrong forum earlier, Too keen. I have got a PC that will run msfs after a two month wait following my 12 year old Pc dying. 8 Hours to install, wow that was painful ! I always ran fsx in surround on 3 monitors as it never bothered me the outer 2 screens stretched. Jumped straight into msfs20 with the same., but all 3 screens are stretched. 😞 Are there any tips to get the middle screen looking normal? Is there a .cfg file somewhere I have to alter. In FSX it was something like widescreen=True Done some searching but drawn a blank. Can anyone offer any tips? Many thanks

I have never had this problem before today. I can successfully get to the home screen. But then whatever I try to do next hangs the whole sim and I can't recover without rebooting my entire system. I have tried with no Community Folder, I have tried in Safe Mode, I have tried turning off Online Functionality. Most of the hangs have been trying to start a flight but not all. Some have just been trying to do things that were suggested in other threads for this problem. Hi again. I am wondering if anyone can give me some clarity with regards to the OTT monitors. I have gotten my system to where my VR environment is not great, but decent. Cockpit clarity is still an issue, but not terrible. However, when I turn on the OTT performance monitor to see how it looks, the application frame drop counter is increasing rapidly and so is the compositor frame drop counter. And the performance headroom number is like -70 or -80. I am not sure what to learn from those numbers. I have never seen the headroom number be positive. Am I interpreting the number correctly? And I don't know what to make of those constantly increasing drop numbers. G…

When do we get a proper and accurate altitude modeling from the Canary Islands and Madeira? I would like enthusiasts to do DEM 10 or DEM 5 level elevation modeling of these islands. In my second simulator P3D4 I have a 5 meter mehs from Canary, which is excellent.

I got the Kodiak for a Christmas Present for myself, and this is the only aircraft I fly now. The only thing I was disappointed with, was having to go from steam gauges which is how I got my PPL years ago, to a Glass Panel G 1000. I thought I would never get used to it. The first thing i did was to install the G 1000 NXI version from the Market Place, which was free. In he beginning I was very confused by all the buttons and dials, and different screen, so I turned to Youtube, and started watching tutorial videos. Gradually I learned more and about this NXI version, and little by little I realized I was having as much fun flying with the G 1000 as I was with the aircraft.…

I am trying to set up a keyboard Cockpit view assignment so that I can hit a key & see the overhead switch panel that sits above & between the Pilot/Copilot's heads. I have tried a 'fix' from .to but can't get it with that, although it appears to show what I am looking for. Can anyone come up with a Keyboard assignment ? Thanks T45

Hello all, I have an issue with the visual representation of the rudder pedal on the kodiak. Visualy it seems like there is a right input on the pedal. I don't feel this right input on the plane however, it flight straight no problem. Do you have the same issue than I have ? Is it a bug or for whatever reason is it normal that the right pedal seems to be applied. Here below a pick, my ruder is neutral and there is no trim whatsoever.
