Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I am using the freeware mod DC-3 from Flightsim.to in FSMS and am learning all about the Beech King Air panel that is used in it. Since I have almost never used the glass panel planes, it is new to me. I have the auto pilot down and how to tune the NAV 1, and 2 radios, but I can't find any way to tune an ADF radio to use with an NDB station. Does this panel have an ADB radio and if so, how do I tune it. Thanks

One year ago, I played with the MSFS Scenery Editor, enhancing my (second) home airport : Montgomery Field Gibbs Executive (KMYF) in San Diego. I just dropped here and here MSFS library objects and correct taxiway signs names. Cannot push the virtual lever beyond the idle point anymore after the fix and cannot get the engine to deliver the necessary power,it stays at idle power Pushing the physical throttle forward makes the 104 roll backward. The Gina which has no reverser ,stays put. This is without programming the reverse thrust for the lift gate and it does that with or without reversing the throttle axis. By comparison, the MV Porter throttle works like a charm now including the reverse thrust by lifting the physical lever down the gate . Do you see the same on your jets ?

I find the Kodiak quite sensitive to rudder inputs during the takeoff run and have not come up with a good solution for this yet. On the one hand I'd like to reduce the rudder sensitivity quite a bit for ground steering, but in flight you need good control of the rudder to keep things coordinated. What rudder settings have you found that seems to work well? Do you find the Kodiak ground steering more difficult than for most similar a/c? Thanks, Al

I am having a heck of a time getting this properly configured to fully work with the FBWA320. Is there a video tutorial somewhere that I can use as a reference? I am following the guide on their official website to set up the levers on the bravo, but there are a few things I am confused about. Particularly the Reversers Full, Reversers Idle, and Idle. These 3 detents threw me off. I started by setting both engine 1+2 levers all the way down in their Reversers Full detent, and when I go a notch up to try and set the Reversers Idle, I get a red message on the EFB saying that their's a conflict. Saw an update for the FBW exp mod v0274ca7 but consistently get a "retrying base module error" message?! Is it just me? Switched to Dev mod and it installed just fine. rebooted PC, restarted the FBW installer, switched back to exp mod and again the base module error. @Watsi anything on your side you can influence?

So I just received an email from Honeycomb announcing their new trim wheel (cover?) accessory for the Bravo for $19.99. I already sourced what I believe is one of these two or three months ago and it is fine. But it greatly begs the question of the Bravo trim wheel and MSFS. Unless I have missed something major the Bravo Trim Wheel and MSFS are akin to the Biblical "Tower of Babel". They either refuse, do not have the ability, or are not allowed to communicate with each other without perhaps an interpreter (FSUIPC?) I was tryng to see if i could get atc up and running since i didn't hear no atis etc, but some how i have the compass rose on the top left of screen and airspeed indications on the bottom left and flight control settings on the bottom right. I looked in the assistance but couldn't by the life of me find how to turn them off. Flew in following conditions, but no turbulence whatsoever. SIGMET and IGA prognosis call for SEV TURB. Metar also shows high and gusty wind. EDIT Topic title changed to make my question more clear. Because of a little problem (stutter) I wanted to completely remove the FBW A320 and reinstall it from scratch. So I deleted all folders in the Community folder, removed all FBW related stuff the official way in Windows, redownloaded the installer, installed and reinstalled the Airbus. To my utter amazement I noticed most settings were still as they were in the FlyPad... including my SimBrief number...! I did have to recalibrate my joystick but most other settings were retained! Good morning I recently did a full reinstall of MSFS. The sim .exe is located in my C/Programme Files/Windows Apps/MSFS_1.21.18.x64.... location. If I change that file to 'run as administrator' compatibility mode and click on the game icon in the start or task bar I get a "The request is not supported" warning If i delet the "run as administrator" compatibilty setting the games starts fine from the icon. Grateful for any suggestions please

Gaah. disaster... ran latest update, 2 nights ago. now when i try to open fs2020, i get "this app can;t start, see in microsoft store". i click the link and it just takes me to the game in the ms store (my account is linked at the top). and gives the option to play, as i own it. clicking on play then opens the xbox app, with the option of which version, i have premium deluxe, and it states... you own this... clicking on it, brings up the cant open message. I know, the title is a little odd I have a pretty high end system including an ASUS GTX 3090. When I set up my VR environment and turn on the Debug Tool performance HUD, it shows me constrained by the GPU and it shows performance headroom as a large negative number. This is even before I try actually taking off and flying. I don't understand how that could be and I don't know what to look for. It seems like I should have lots of performance headroom when I am in VR but not flying yet. I need guidance on how to troubleshoot this GPU bottleneck. I have a sliiiiight problem. Whenever I try and make liveries in fs2020 I need a texture to paint on the plane. I make the texture (white), and it is all good. But then the texture applies to every. single. object. in blender. So everything is white expect for the part I painted. Obviously airplanes aren't full white so I was wondering if someone had a work around or a fix to this. Thanks in advance
