Why does my joystick rudder control work with FSX but not with MSFS When I test it with joy.cpl it shows full right and full left and center only

Anyone know of any this weekend mostly for Bush flying? ns

OK i run a 2070 so i'll expect the "get a better GPU" chants. But seriously, prior to this update everything was great at mostly ultra. Noticed last night in cloudy weather the cloud settings are very heavy, yes they look better but slightly annoyed as i was happy with them before. I can run them but the way my system is set up (using optimal power in NCP) and my undervolt, I can see just by changing from clear to clouds the dramatic usage change which wasn't there prior to this. Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere? Anyone else noticed?

My MSFS2020 was working for a year now no issues suddenly I got message to start in normal mode or offline mode . So I decided to uninstall and reinstall back to have a clean copy . Hello, just today due to a GPU technical issue had to buy a new GPU graphics card. I get the RTX 3070ti. Every time I start my simulator now I get a warning msg that Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements. As a result you may experience errors during the game. Anyone please give some advise? Never had this before. Thank you

Hi, I have created my set of custom cockpit views for the two aircraft that I mostly use, that are the default C172 and the FBW A320. Each view has then been bound to its own joystick button...everything works fine but I would like to eliminate the annoying zoom change which occurs when I press twice the button assigned to a certain view. In other words, if, for instance, I have selected the pilot view and I press again the button assigned to that view (which usually may be necessary to recenter the view point after a panning around), then the zoom level changes and I have to press once more the same button to restore the created view. Hi everyone, as the title says, I have v-sync on and fps capped at 30 and it's always worked fine. After the last update it hasn't been working anymore and i get 70 74 fps.I was in the beta stuff,leaved it,updated with no problem... Am I the only one in this situation? Cheers Steve

I am trying to purchase the new Carenado Cessna Sky Master plane just out in the Marketplace, but every time I click on BUY, or DOWNLOAD AND BUY, all I get is a very fast flash of what looks like the next blue window you normally get to fill in your purchase details. I then get a Notification up at the top of the page that says Purchase Failed. I have tried to purchase a couple of scenery addons too but get the same result. I went to the Carenado site but there it says this plane is only available in the IN Game Marketplace. I can't find any way to get to the Market Place from the main Microsoft site. So I took a 9 month break from FS2020 to see how things matured. I reinstalled FS2004 with all add ons on a laptop and flew that while watching TV in the living room instead of the larger rig required by FS2020 in the guest room. So after an update parade longer than the initial install it seems, lots has changed and yet nothing has, so it seems… As a quick catch up what is the most significant/meaningful change(s) to be aware of in FS2020 and what’s still the same as 9 months ago?

Now have a 1 TB empty drive. Mandatory update today completely deleted msfs and 150 of my addons People having the same issue on the main site. Seems to have something to do with installing the beta update. There was apparently a warning that a lot of us did not get. The servers are really going to be caned tonight and I'm going to have to spend weeks resetting everything and rebuilding my community folder. Thanks Microsoft !

Anyone here using Rex Weather Force 2020? I have it. It was working fine until I did the Rex update, and now it's not working. TAF data not available, Not sowing Temp/Dew Point/Wind/Wind speed or gusts. Search for Airport and I get "Your search did not result in any records." It's like it isn't getting weather Data, and airport data. Did anyone else have this problem and were you able to fix it. I uninstalled and re-installed Rex 4 or 5 times and same results. Also I don't know how to insert pictures to show you in this forum. Not sure how to get a URL link to my pictures. Thanks Walt

What's the state of REX Weather Force now half a year after release ? It certainly got a few updates since release. Almost all reviews I have read or watched are after the initial release. Has it improved since then ? Their announcement mentions "live" weather and dynamic transitions. How "live" is the weather really (how actual are the Metars ?) and does one really get transitions, so no sudden wind changes ? Mike

I'm referring to editing the livery files, not by using the Customization option for all planes. I notice some liveries I've downloaded seem correct for example ATC calling it 'Alaska Airlines' rather than 'ASA'. I can use Customization and for this example use Alaska_Airlines and ATC will state that, but then it calls all planes Alaska Airlines. Thanks

Ever since the recent update fix, the World Map/flight planner is no longer remembering the location of my flight plan files. It defaults to its own location. I can still navigate to my folder, but its a pain to do this every time: Their built-in path: D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-2610037304-2891976329-3409416837-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\Flight Plans Mine: D:\Flight\Flight Plans Is this something that can be reset via a .cfg file entry?

Hi all, after watching several videos, I am really tempted to get this Kodiak bird. But for this kind of planes (also the upcoming Twin Otter and the default Cessna 206), I always struggle to find good and interesting routes, I totally lack ideas. No issues with GA sightseeing or IFR airliner flights, but for this type of planes, flying in and out of small airfields is what makes it fun, no? So where do you guys get your ides from? Just by browsing possible locations in the world map? By using an addon tool where you can select flights? By looking for real world operations? Happy for a bunch of ideas here 🙂 Thanks

Hi,i've been experiencing this problem: i have a stable internet connecion (100 Mb) and i mean stable until i fire FS. After that I get connection lost/succesful every 10 seconds. Never happened before,it's been going on for about 3 weeks. When i close the sim, no problem at all. Anyone in my situation? Advices? Thanks in advance Regards Steve

Over Chicago with the METAR reporting overcast at 5,000ft. Both MSFS and REX nail the overcast in very different ways. MSFS overcast is way better than before SU7 hotfix was released. MSFS has gone for a cumulus overcast where Rex has gone for a stratus overcast. Very interesting and got me wondering where does the cloud choice come from? MSFS basis everything on different thicknesses of cumulus. However, Rex has nailed a stratus looking overcast. Does the METAR data report cloud type in some way? Is MSFS getting additional cloud type data from another source? Is REX getting cloud type from another source? MS Overcast REX overcast
