This problem suddenly started today. If I have an plane ( I tried a number of them) sitting on the runway, then if I push the F10 key, the plane pops up into the air, maybe a couple hundred feet or so, and then falls and crashes! If I hit F10 again, the plane again pops up into the air despite the crash, etc. I have checked all the key bindings, both ASSIGNED and ALL, and the only one I found for F10 was to see the specifications, but I even removed that. I use FSUIPC, but completely disabled that as well, and have restarted the sim and computer a number of times. No other sim related apps are running as best as I can tell. I also checked to make sure I was not in Slew…

Hi Folks, Sometimes, I'll set up a flight plan in the sim using Asobo's flight plan page, then when I start the flight, a Departure procedure will be in place. However, there are times when the DP terminates without connecting to the Enroute portion of the flight (I don't think they are DPs with a vector enroute). There doesn't appear to be a way to delete a portion to connect the two parts of the flight plan so my workaround has been to fly the DP, then go Direct to the next waypoint. Is there a better way to do this without an interruption in the flight plan?

AIG made fixes for the live traffic and for the aircraft flying low circuits instead of landing. Is it possible that AIG could fix separation from the USER aircraft? I'm using AIG with the FPs in offline AI mode. and I'm tired of getting run over during final (flying the EMB-110 and being overtaking by the tubeliners). Is this something AIG would consider addressing or even can address?

Hi folks. I have been reading about Leap Motion and Pointctl as a means of controlling the cockpit. I am wondering who is using either of these tools and if so, what do you think of it? Thanks, Rob

Hey Folks Quick question given both aircraft fulfill similar roles: For those of you who have used them both, how does Magraina's Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX Improvement Mod (https://flightsim.to/file/16350/cessna-208b-grand-caravan-ex-improvement-mod) stand up in comparison to the Simworks Kodiak? Not after flag-waving opinions please - just objective observations to help me decide whether to invest in the Kodiak when there's a freeware alternative. Thanks in advance! Ads

Hi folks, Im looking at adding a gps unit to my sim setup, Im debating whether to go with a real sim gear 530 or the gtn750. In thinking this over, I was wondering if there is a way to use the msfs gtn750 (pms mod) on an iPad for touch screen features? Has anyone accomplished this?

Howdy all, those of you who fly the Kodiak in MSFS might already be familiar with a bug that was discovered early after release, within a day or so. The specific bug is that when the “Alternate Attitude Indicator” (top left corner dash/VC) is powered and functioning users will see an 8-10 FPS loss in the simulation. The immediate and excellent work around is to disable the AAI with the circuit breaker (second or third row from bottom, center). Once you do that the AAI will go dark and you will instantly recover those 8-10 frames per second you previously lost. My goal of this post is twofold: 1.) To see if anyone knows the status of this bug and when SWS plans to a…

Hello all, I have a AMD Radeon RX6900XT GPU and I am currently using adrenalin 21.11.3 software as this version supports MSFS Game of the Year Edition. There are newer versions available, and the last one was released on 18th January 2022 (22.1.2). Should I update the lastest one or should I stick with the one I currently have? What do you think? Do the newer versions have backwards compatibility (for MSFS)? I currently have no issues whatsoever with the version I have.

Does anyone know where i can find a United livery compatible with SU7 that is not the newest livery? I am looking for the one that they started using after they bought Continental. I can't seem to find one that is compatible with SU7 and free.

It's been a very long time coming (something they acknowledge on their website) but the service pack for the NextGen Simulations EMB-110 Bandeirante has finally been released (I got the update from Just Flight), I haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces but big changes look to be new engine sounds, GTN 750 support and an X-Box version https://nextgensim.com.co/blog/index.php/2021/12/16/status-update-q4-2021

I am wondering if anyone else has been having this issue. MSFS is up to date, my Community folder has seven entries in it which are up to date and shown as compatible with SU7. Prior to the beta update (patch) I had not experienced any BSOD. The only other recent change/addition was purchasing the SWS Kodiak 100. The BSOD’s began sometime after December 2021. I’ve had about ten or so occur, during flights that last between 40 minutes to an hour and a half. Today, I was in the Kodiak (engine not running) just going through the G1000 nxi to become more familiar with the unit, about 20 minutes into that another BSOD. Most have occurred in the Kodiak, but also on two occasion…

TLDR: After sorting some hardware issues (new motherboard and CPU), I have lost all aircraft sounds, both internal and external. ATC sounds still work. Has a configuration file changed in some way perhaps? What should I check? I’ve read there are issues with Intel’s Alder Lake CPUs which mean it’s better to run them on Win11 (which I’ve yet to upgrade to), but this seems far too specific a problem for that. Here’s the long version, at least some of which is possibly to blame: After ordering and fitting a new motherboard - ASUS TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4 – and CPU – Intel Core i5-12400 - (the background …

Here is Saint-Jean-d'Avelanne airport created by Claude Roure. Saint-Jean-d'Avelanne aerodrome is an aerodrome in the department of Isère, located between Pont-de-Beauvoisin and Saint-Jean-d'Avelanne. The 400 x 35 meter runway is open mainly to qualified mountain pilots and microlights. The aerodrome is managed by the association L'Espérance Sportive de Saint Jean d'Avelanne. https://www.simvol.org/en/downloads/airports/saint-jean-avelanne

Along with the typical controller profiles such as Keyboard,Yoke, Mouse, etc., I have a default profile called Touch Pointer. I have no idea what that is, and there are no entries under that profile. I use TrackIR, and some TrackIR users report they have a TrackIR profile, but for whatever reason, I do not. Makes me wonder if my Touch Pointer profile is really my TrackIR profile *, although I have no idea what entries one might have under a TrackIR profile. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has a Touch Pointer profile, or at least knows what it is. Thx, Al * EDIT: My TrackIR Controller Profile has now appeared -- why I don't know! 🤔

Hi all, after a 2 month wait my new PC has finally arrived. First task instal MSFS20 as my first purchase. After a 8 hour download I am ready to go. I always flew fsx on a 3 screen set up, the two outer screen stretching never bothered me. However jumped straight into fsx this way, and all 3 screens looked stretched. Any tips out there what i must do, is there a cfg file need some thing adding to, like Widescreen= true, something like that? Had a search around the forum, not found anything, but after an 8 hour instal I am just keen to do a bit of flying in glorious surround ;-) Cheers for any tips

I'm trying to update a machine with fs2020 on it that hasn't been played in a few months and the flight sim update is 108gb and is taking absolutely forever to download. At this rate it will be 6+ hours at least to update it. I can't be without this machine for that long but want to update the sim so needless to say I won't be updating the sim or playing it today. It's ridiculous that microsoft's servers are this slow. My internet is gigabit speed and I'd say I am maybe getting 500kps at best to their update server. I mean 2005 called and wants its internet speeds back. How about upgrading your internet connection microsoft...
