Despite the early teaser photos of KCLE about 6 months ago, I was surprised to see my childhood hometown airport (KCLE) released for MSFS without any fanfare or announcements. PACSIM did a nice job on it and a big thankyou to Chris (aerographer) for his exceptional freeware on .to that held us over and frankly made me forget about the PACSIM project. I've been watching "Paddy Pilot"'s bush flying videos on youtube, where he noodles around in Papua with a Pilatus Porter. I vastly prefer his videos to the ones by MBP - less clickbaity and he doesn't try to sell you t shirts and coffee mugs every 3 minutes. Just last week, my MSFS lost the ability to 'represent' the correct weather for any part of the world (UK mainly) for some reason, the air pressure was there but nothing else. It also started messing with my logitect control's, msfs would crash, then on restart...... nothing. Yet, if I started X-plane, without a computer restart, Logitech worked like nothing was wrong.. The same with FSX. Anyway, to get around the weather problems, yesterday, I started to use the weather presets, storm, rain and overcast being my favourite's. Hello I did try to speed up Fs 2020 loading time, but it failed. I moved all aircrafts from /Official/Steam folder to /AddonLinker folder ( except 4 planes I often use.) As FS 2020 wanted to download many Gb of data, I closed Fs 2020 and moved all official airplanes back to the /Official/Steam folder. Fs 2020 loaded normally. No problem using Fs 2020. Asobo + Microsoft, could add an option to only load the planes we need. Addon Linker does this job with our Community folder, loading time is reduced. So why not a same option with the official folder !

Good day Since i ve updated msfs with last révision, i am not able to fly with msfs. Able to fly with p3d . I used the last driver gpu NVIDIA, ctd, just before the last driver ctd, reset my bios, same, thought the problèm was CPU or GPU throlling, si i limited pl1 and pl2 @180W/185W idem ctd, try without community folder, idem. i explored all my ressources without be able to solve these crash. hello I have a xbox S and have been playing MSFS 2020 for about 3 months. I am finding it quite buggy. Any flight over 90 minutes, 747-8, just spins in the air or the game just dies or all the instrument panels go blank. I usually completely quit MSFS, logout and login and/or restart the console to start again. I have seen people post on youtube flights that several hours long. Are those on a PC? Is the PC version less buggy than the xbox version? Thanks

I use the dev version but i can't remove F-Plan Discontinuity. I press CLR and then selecting the LSK next to the discontinuity don't works. A solution?

I have a question about the installation of the new version. I know it has to reside in the actual Community folder (for now). I ran the .exe file and it installed the correct seasons for now. But my question is: how much of that unzipped install folder do I have to put in the Community folder in order for the seasons to change automatically? Is it just the season folders? Thanks

Hi, I just updated to last Experimental version tonight. I get a CTD every time I am inputing the city pair on the INI page. Tried with datalink as well as manual input : same result. I just want to know if I am the only one or if it is a problem with the current version. I tried to fly LGSM-LGAV. My last flight 2 days ago was perfect though. Best regards, Pierre

I fly my Kodiak on Steam sometimes. It is fun. I also have a G1000 AirManager profile. But because the popout costs me about 10 fps at the moment I like flying the great Kodiak with steam gauges. With 4 screens I get 30 fps with this setup. What is cool is that you can use the hardware Knobster and touch screen to change all the settings for AP and NavComs. And you can practice IFR approaches with steam gauges. Of course you can view the G1000's as well as can be seen in one of the photos. This feels really immersive.

Hi, i use the freeware tool flightrecorder to record my flights. Now I am trying to find out if there is a way with this or another tool to record several depatures at a particular runway at the same airport and reload these different departures. So in the end I will be able to see two or more planes at the runway departing. Or when planning to fly a formation that I could load the first recorded fly and pursue the other aircraft that I had recorded with an airplane. So I would kind an formation.

Been looking for a better alternative to the in-game ATC but not quite going on VATSIM either. Been reading up a bit on PF3 and it seems to tick all the boxes for me. Are there any fellow flight sim enthusiasts who use PF3 that can shed some light on its quality and effectiveness? $50 is a bit on the steep side and would rather be more informed about it than to pay for it and regret it after. I see they mentioned a free demo to try it out, but can't find it! TIA!

hi all, I love this sim, it is my main sim, I learn the a320 thanks to it and can't wait for the 737// my good old, ghmm. But, I was wondering, I saw a few take off timelapse out of cloudy weather, and it is always nice that when you go through the low level once, there are always some clouds higher, the thin layer mostly. Why does MSFS not simulate this? Or very barely a very whispy layer? Does meteoblue not have this data or what? Just wondering, cheers vic

The servers at Alpha India Group have suffered a serious issue and no downloads are currently possible. They don't know how long it's going to take to fix. I have realized that I spend quite some time every day just for keeping my sim and all its add-ons clean and up-to-date. I'm organizing add-ons, checking flightsim.to for updated add-ons and installing new ones from there. ORBX, Contrail and others also need to be visited every now and then. Not to forget AIG, which takes quite some time just to load and check for new models and flight plans - today it was a bigger effort. Last not least, reading/posting in the relevant forums can be time consuming too. I don't complain, for me, all this is part of the game. And I love it. It's just a bit too time consuming meanwhile.
